Burger King in South Somerset

Staff were either being intentionally difficult or are just incompetent. Tried to order at the kiosk, order goes through but they wouldn't put blue light discount on or wouldn't let us use our promotional code on the kiosk and would not alloe us to collect loyalty points. We went through it over and over 4 times before giving up. I order the same thing all the time from other branches and never had an issue before this one burger king. The staff said "we are special". They are not wrong they are indeed. We left and went to the pub instead and they threw our order away. Won't come back again.

Order cheese loaded fries and they had barely any cheese on them

Been here a few times now, easily accessible for all and quick service. Staff are friendly and helpful. Seating area is sufficient and clean.

The burgers were freshly cooked and piping hot. However, the bathroom facilities were absolutely filthy. The toilets stank, and there was litter and stale urine not only in the cubicle but at the entrance. Extremely off-putting.

Food and service was good but sat in at tables and it was freezing cold with door constantly opening need heating or double doors

Wouldn't let me order at kiosk despite being a cash buyer, had to order at screen then pay at kiosk, makes no sense. No drinks available always something wrong at this Burger king

manager(?) is really passive aggressive and rude, started trying to stack the chairs on our table while we were still eating? absolutely bizarre

Service was great there was about 20 staff and just 3 customers 😅, but food wasn't all that and unfortunately the actual service station itself was so run down and gross it needed burning to the ground really! So dirty, I felt like even the had sanitiser was out of date!

Good place, delicious food and nice good-natured service.

Great place you know what your getting the staff are lovely and jovial and helpful. Only issue is that it is bloody dark outside none of the external lights are on so bring a torch.

I drive all over 6 county's and I use burger King if available, but my run to Yeovil means podimore! Always great service and cooked and presented well. Always stop here

The staff force customers to order from the machines and refuse to take orders from the counter which is not right.

What an absolute disgrace, toilets stank of urine and hadn’t been cleaned , water everywhere on the floor. The floor in the restaurant was filthy, the girl Came out and gave the tables a cursory wipe and ignored the floor. The bin was overflowing. Avoid like the plague, this place is filthy and has zero brand standards.

Small ..main road BK Looking very dated Toilets were bloody awful..sticking place to avoid. Need to spend a few quid to update this place... Food was OK and as expected

Came here for tea today, I had a Angus burger with fries & a black coffee, as usual all was perfect, the burger was moist and very tasty & the fries were very superb, best fast food for miles, coffee was as always perfect. Staff very polite.

ordered the food and within minutes my food came out, it was dry and lifeless. must of used a microwave, waste of money I wont be coming here again.

Overall good experience, staff friendly and service was quick. Not bad for roadside services. Just a shame the shared eating area is small and not very imviting, not the fault of the Burger King.

The Burger King staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was hot, fresh and good portion size.

I came here with my family and had quick service and the staff were extremely kind. The dining area was extremely clean and the toilets weren't bad.

Great fast service and well cooked food, just how it should be, no nonsense fast food and has changed since my last visit!

We've stopped off here quite a few times, & usually pretty good, reasonably quick service, no mistakes with orders yet. Although when we visited in December last year, all the toilets were closed early evening, which isn't good after a 2 hour drive with a disabled person!

The staff were very friendly and the food was great.

Couldn't get a simple order correct. Most probably because the staff seemed to be mucking about more than concentrating on what they're paid to do. Had to come back in to get correct meal. Lots of litter inside on the floor, looked very untidy. Don't think I'll be frequenting this place again in the near future. A let down for the brand.

The seating area is small and shared with Greg's and Subway. Tad expensive than McDonald's.

In general it is no worse or better than the majority of motorway service eateries. It's a small site, so indoor seating was limited, but my wife and I found a table no bother. Food was well cooked and on a Saturday around 5pm, it wasn't too busy. If like this evening we were visiting somewhere nearby we would eat here again.

We've used this outlet before. I was however a little disappointed in my meat free patte burger due to it's lack of salad. The surroundings are a little tired, as is the car park, but still nice food all the same. The options board was a little confusing too I might add.

So this is a service station with a Birger King and a Greggs. Both the car park and the store is over running in rubbish, the tables are not clear nor are the bins emptied. The staff are a bit pushy and not all options are available… drive on!

Nice food even burgers are excellent. But onion rings are a bit weird that day ;)

Tis burger king after all, service was excellent friendly staff very polite and helpful, plenty of parking if you have a blue light card use it here too...

Food itself was fine, the vegan Royales went down well with the two vegetarians in the group. Was a late evening stop so chairs were upside down on the tables to stop people eating in. Biggest issue were the toilets - not BKs responsibility but both the male and female toilets were in a disgusting state and as they're right next to BK, it was kinda off putting. Even if the chairs were down, I don't think we would've wanted to eat inside.

Took our two young grandsons aged 5 and 7 here for a treat. Having never used Burger King staff were very helpful taking us through all the options on the touch screen ordering point. Children enjoyed their meal deal and ice-cream. We went for the Angus burger and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meat and the burger itself.

Another Burger King. Unfortunately, when I enter this restaurant, I get the impression that it is not very clean. The whole restaurant should be refreshed and repainted. Improve toilet hygiene!

Great customer service, food was good. A shame some of the customers are complete slobs. However, the staff are a credit to the establishment.

Touch screens are wearing out, be patient and you'll complete your order but saw other people get frustrated and give up.

Coke tasted weird a bit fishy. Food eating area very basic. Toilet facilities unclean. Should have held out till next services..

Very dirty floors / tables (not made by staff) by customers but not cleaned up,lack of condiments and slow service not the burgerking usual standards unfortunately

Popped in on the way home. Was very busy. Staff seemed overwhelmed, but professional. Seemed to have a 'roll up your sleeves and get it done' attitude.

Very slow service. Place not very clean. Food OK but burgers seem to be getting smaller! Staff were all fine. Just seemed very short staffed. Burger King need to employ more there for such a busy place!

Having to use self service when staff are just stood around doesn’t seem the best use of staff deployment!
