Subway in Walsall

Anjana at this Walsall Subway is amazing. After finding out the shop is halal, I made it my regular place — and Anjana is a big reason why. I’m a very picky eater with sensory issues, and she went out of her way to make my sandwich just how I needed it. Now, she even remembers my order and how I like it, which is very rare these days. It’s the personal service that keeps me coming back. Thank you, Anjana, for always making my experience so easy and enjoyable! Nice, Clean and Bright storefront too, with free parking. 👌

Over charge asking for cash payments only even though I paid on app. The price is the same on the app. So asking to pay another £2 even though I’ve paid on the app is just stupid.

Cheese was missing and bread was not toasted ruined the whole experience on both subs and parts of salad was missing

There was hardly any chicken, steak or Tuna in the baguettes mainly full of sauce and salad. It was all soggy and not at all hot. We will not be ordering again

Hi, i was with Jaiya, and I want to add that it does say 30% of ANY sub as you can see here. Its not just footlong. Edit : so now you believe us after turning us away? Will definitely not be returning.

Cashier refused to let use our 30% of any sub discount saying its only for footlongs.. Edit : it clearly says any..

UPDATE -2nd time .. Came here once again to get me exclusive offer from my app the miserable man refused and said this offer is only for online orders but then you can't place online orders so you can blame the app but I'm sure there is a manual way around this and the mans lack in training proves he shouldn't be there alone without someone trained properly and professionally. 1st time... Staff need to smile or find a better job if not happy, having a personality adds to people wanting to come back, only went here due to the 50% off the footlong otherwise I'd rather go tova chippy lol have been to many subways I think these guys hold back on the amount of meat they supposed to add (e.g. insted of 6 slices they ad 5) unless subway is cost cutting and have changed the amount added will have to check this out.

This subway food is really nice so i highly recommend to everyone go to this subway and try food and always they provide fresh breads and fresh food i don’t know why people bad comment But i share one thing with all of you some people when like food they not post any comments but some time they don’t like food they posted comments

This is a decent enough subway, went to dine in and it was nice but the inside is quite small and the seats are not very good, service was ok but had to tell the guy "no onions" twice and he still accidently put it in the sandwich, had to tell him again and he had take it out, bit annoying i thought but the sandwich did end up tasting good.

This subway is actually the WORST branch in existence, the cost cutting is embarrassing. I mean if you order a subway, you will end up with bread and sauce. Absolutely pathetic, I can't see it last long...

I visited this halal Subway store initially 2 weeks ago and I was very dissatisfied as the Subway was mainly bread, salad and sauce (minimal meat). I gave them a 2nd chance and visited the store again yesterday and made the same guy at the counter aware of my prior experience with lack of meat toppings. He acknowledged my complaint, however, to my surprise, the subways again barely had any meat, mainly salad and sauce. I don't know if this is a cost cutting tactic, but I've been to many other Subway stores and none are like this at all. Absolutely poor and won't be visiting this particular store again!

This particular Subway, which has sadly become the worst Subway location in my experience. Despite giving them numerous chances, my orders are consistently wrong, with accuracy sitting at a dismal 1%. The staff consistently fail to read the delivery orders correctly, even when explicit instructions are given through the Uber app. One would assume that a simple request like not toasting the sub would be easy to follow, yet my sandwiches arrive toasted, alongside other incorrect items. Even after reaching out to them and explaining the situation, the same mistakes persist, leaving me utterly frustrated. Regrettably, I've reached the point where I can no longer tolerate the repeated errors and lack of attention to detail. I've decided not to visit this Subway location ever again, and I strongly advise others to do the same. It's a shame that such a well known brand has let its standards slip to such a disappointing extent. The countless 1 and very low star reviews do not surprise me in the slightest. Staff need to be retrained or replaced with people that can do the job and maybe read clear instructions.

I made and order fir tuna and lettuce sud I have a about 4 times last week and today send it but warm I didn't ask for warm tuna and never have I cannot eat did call shop but the man on phone vould not understand me I always have cold he just keeps putting phone down on me

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee and my sandwich was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. This restaurant offers free parking to be validated aswell. Will visit again.

The tuna sub was made well but a bit stingy on sauces, the guy behind counter was nice and polite, fairly easily accessible no steps or stairs, car park is pay and display if the machines are working, hopefully these lot stay nice and fresh ingredients wise and maintain strict hygiene practices. So far fine would visit again based on first experience.

Meatballs as always was delicious and still warm. One problem I had there was no cheese on the meatballs when it comes with cheese. Garlic bread was ice cold and like plastic. It probably would of tasted delicious if it had arrived hot but I can't say because of the lack of customer service. The wedges were mostly cold and hard the ones I could eat were actually tasty. The sub was as always full of flavour and mouthwatering. Subway does excellent work but what lets it down is the lack of customer service skills. I phoned earlier because the delivery driver was going to the wrong place and I was trying to get some common sense and how the driver can get 2 completely different postcodes wrong. The person who answered the phone was completely rude and kept saying they couldn't hear me. Get a better phone connection because there is nothing wrong with my phone. Also the person said they would speak to the manager and get the manager to call me back don't bother I've got my food I've eaten what was eatable and now I'm writing this review. The only reason why I haven't given a 1 star review is because of how good the food is. I've been ordering from here before and never had an issue with the service but for some reason I had issues with the service. If your rude to me I'm going to repay the compliment. I've done a customer service course I know how to speak to customers and speaking over the customer is not polite. 0 stars for the service.

Food was tasty only slight problem I ordered prawn cocktail crisps and I got sent ready salted instead. I’ll still eat them but clearly people need to double check the orders before sending them out.

Avoid this place, customer service here is terrible. There is one Asian lady who has no manners and I don’t know how she’s still employed at subway as I’m pretty sure the previous comments about rude staff are about her. She made her own rules up and had nothing to prove it.

Ordered 2 Footlongs. The first one was not Hearty Italian, if it was, it was hard and hard to eat. The 2nd one, was Hearty Italian nice and soft. Clearly a difference I can only put down to over-heating. With benefit of doubt, would order again. Subs were tasty with sauces tasteable.

Was excited that the branch is now halal. First time I ordered I thought I had the wrong cookie until I found half an m and m in it. Not the usual rainbow cookie. Tried again and food was mediocre. I'm not sure if this is how subway make their subs now or if they're cost cutting, but the sub was just sad. Didn’t come with the cheese or sweet onion sauce, and for some reason even though there was a dollop of garlic herb sauce, it was overpowered by mayo which shouldn't have been there. Would be better off with a supermarket baguette.

This branch has undertaken a new direction and is now serving halal meat. Whoever decide this should be awarded as a hala subway was NEEDED in the area. The food was delicious and was made with great care I was very satisfied. The service was unbelievable I thank the staff there who made my sandwich. It was more than an order we had a great conversation and with the food, both are the reason I’m definitely coming back and will be ordering often

Parking is a nightmare. Arrived at subway to find them closed temporarily! I still had to pay for parking just for entering the car park for 30 secs!!!!!! There is another subway 1-2 mins drive away with free parking opposite the big Tesco’s in Walsall. Go there, AVOID THIS TRAP!!

Long hair was in my Turkey Breast Sub ordered from Walsall waterfall.

One of the worst meals of my life.. have been intermittent fasting and decided to treat myself to a healthy salad but went to this subway.. working as a nurse is just a gentle reminder how hard I work for my pennies.. I ordered 3 salads and one was without lettuce as requested but had only 3 cucumbers and 3 tomatoes alongside the other minute amount of salad.. the other salad was lacking the cheese and dressing and had far too much salt.. my chicken salad had the tiniest amount of sauce.. disappointing and just shameful that people believe they can serve such awful amounts of food!!! When I complained on uber eats I was told condiments weren't promised!!!! What on earth.. I've heard it now!!!!

Place is ok, but the food isn't the same

Absolutely terrible! Just went there for lunch today and the worst Subway I've been to. Ordered a wrap and the lady serving me was rushing me for starters and absolutely rude. Had only asked for little bit of BBQ sauce on my wrap and she absolutely drenched it to the point the wrap itself was totally drenched and split when I opened it. There was far too much sauce I didn't end up finishing it as it wasn't even edible. Wanted some spinach however that looked finished with no top up. Also, there was a piece of grilled chicken in the red peppers. I am not vegan myself but this is worrying for anyone who is for personal or religious reasons. The server realised I noticed and she quickly picked it out and threw it. Far better food choices (fast food or more sit down) to pick from if you are in the area with a better service.
