Subway in South Somerset

My bacon sub was very dry and unappealing.....I am usually a big fan of Subway food. The facilities were dreadful.....wet slippery floor, not enough seating and the toilets were inadequate.

I'm a long distance trucker and now make a point of trying to get to podimore as it's my favourite place Alanna is what every employer hopes they will get in a member of staff not only in her work ethic but the personality she brings in to to the place I can't praise her enough for who she is but will continue to go and see her smile the viking trucker

Just been to subway podimore. 110% tye best 1! The lass with the tattoos was wicked! So bubbly so energetic friendly and 10 out of 10 on my chicken and bacon sub! Keep up the good work matey! You made mine and my partners subway experience brilliant 😀 shan't go to any other one now! Thanks to you and the subway crew!

Stopped off for something to eat. Plenty of car parking available and i was served quickly.

One staff member was lovely and the other was very hostile and rude her tone was disgraceful not a good inviting image that subway should have

My boyfriend and I had such a pleasant experience on Friday evening with a lovely lady with short dyed hair! Sorry I didn't catch your name! But she was so wonderful, really nice energy. Made ordering so fun and easy. Our sandwiches were made so good, a true sandwich artist! <3 Definitely coming back more often to try and catch her

Went to subway at Yeovil on a303. First time for me. Lovely lady made a fresh meatball sandwich. Spoke to me. Really positive experience. My daughter was at the time next door as Greggs being rudely told they could not hear food. Go subway.

Arrived at 5.30 after driving 20 minutes to get here and was told they were closed by a member of staff tidying up. The opening hours on line and in store clearly say 7pm?

Closed 30 minutes before it was supposed to.

I know i asked for a veg sandwich but at over £3 i expect more then less than a handful of veg in it it what a rip off won't be bothered with any subway again as less and less for more and more money!

WOW. slow. There were only 3 people in front of me and one of those was already being served. Took 20mins for me to get served. Grandma Plod-Along taking orders and her grandson Tim nice but Dim. He was so slow the flys on the food didn't even bother flying off. If your in any kind of rush, avoid. If however you like to cherish the craftsmanship of someone taking there time coupled with the pure entertainment factor of Cousin Lurch trying to figure out how to put some Lettice into a bread roll then this subway is for you.

Absolutely poor service waited in the cue for over 30 minutes, something has clearly gone wrong in the training package. Would’ve been quicker driving to the other Yeovil subway and ordering there

Subway it self was good and great food. It was were it was based that was not so good. Bad area to drive on as very bad potholes everywhere. So not only a bumpy ride it was also hard to see where you had to drive. Nothing to do with subway though. The owners of the whole service station are to blame!

Not the typical subway. Old salad, you could tell the cucumber and lettuce were dry and not good. Took ages to be served and just generally apathetic service

Four of us visited subway on the way home as all restaurants where booked we ordered our food there were fly's all over the serving area my wife went too the toilets and they were discusting there where no toilet rolls the bin was full and overflowing hand dryer did not work and no paper towels. The gent's toilet was in a poor condition as well. Won't be going there again.

Waited more than 15 mins in queue. Only one employee on a Sunday night. Disappointed.

I have just visited the newly reopened store here and was made possibly the best Subway sandwich I have ever tasted. Patryk hoyed on the Southwest Chipotle sauce with first class generosity and dressed the sandwich perfectly. I'll be going back, in the hope that his hand plays a role in the creation of another too notch meal. Note: The sandwich artist also adhered to government COVID guidelines perfectly.

We went to get a quick sandwich but when we order we saw flies all over the place in the food so was really upset. I won't be coming there in the future !!!

Staff good but not enough of them or the makings

Terrible service took half an hour to get the food which was terrible as it is the bread was hard a a brick and all in all dryer than some dust shocking experience

The guy working on his OWN ALL DAY (Ashley) done them today, he was literally non stop on his own no help from no one. Hadn't had a break all day and he was just taking things in his stride to try get everyone their orders, even thought hes still training. This guy deserves a bloody big pay rise and help in the work place before they lose a bloody good employee!!!

Waited 40 minutes. Didn't have barbeque sauce. Had one employee for majority of the time I was waiting. Whole services terrible. Would not recommend at all!

For this being the closest local Subway I feel as though my previous opinion has changed. The service was served well, the food was still fresh and good quality. The area within the subway area was clean and well maintained. The down fall is that there was 1 staff member this was not efficient service due to the amount of people that the services had in. I would've given more ⭐ i simply couldn't though. That being said the guy that served me was very polite and did his job to the best of his abilities given the limitations of staff shortages.

With one customer in front of us we waited 15 minutes before we got served Chap didn’t really engage just waited for instructions on what we wanted. After my sub had been taken out of the oven the member of staff went to the back of the shop to get ingredients whilst I watched 2 flys walk all over my meal! On return I mentioned that I had watched flys run around on the beef on my sub, he replied what would you like me to do, make you a new sandwich? After this I decided it might be best to spend my money else where as this shouldn’t have even been a question to ask a paying customer. Some training in customer service and hustle is definitely needed

Subway innit! Making them subs like a boss!

Part of a set of 3 outlets in an old Little Chef on A303. Does what you would expect

Extremely slow service, the lady in front of us was waiting 15 min for the one member of staff to chop an onion! He then took 15 min to make our two sandwiches with everything we requested being a problem. The member of staff was clearly overhwelmed and getting upset. The poor service is entirely the fault of management who think it's acceptable to leave one member of staff on duty who isn't able to work quickly, efficiently and cope on their own.

First Saturday of the Easter holidays.. Lunchtime.. 1 person serving.. Ridiculous . We went to Burger King instead

25 minutes to prepare to meals because the second person needs to have a cigarette and not coming back. Manager should sort there staff. Will change it to a 5 star if service improves next time.

Banging but matey serving is like watching a sloth

I give it 2 stars cause it was open. The service is very very slow. Its like watching paint dry. I gave up trying to order a sandwich. Even a tea and coffee took forever. There were 2 people in front of us. They were waiting for meatballs. 2 men serving who were not communicating with anyone effectivly.

Not enough staff. 20 minute wait.

I visit subway weekly, first time to this one. The service was fast and friendly, ingredients very fresh throughout. In fact it's the best subway I've had. I've added to my favourites to visit again, I'll update after future visits but exceptional. Services have very clean faculties too.
