Subway in South Somerset

I recently visited Subway, and I have to say, I was really disappointed. I was so excited to get my sandwich because I love Subway, but when I unwrapped it, it was completely inedible. The entire thing felt wet and soggy, which made it really unappetizing. It’s frustrating when you expect a tasty meal and end up with something that’s not even enjoyable. I hope they can improve on this because I really want to love their food again!

Was good tasting food and the delivery driver was very polite it was not his fault that the food was late its just the app that estimates the time but was enjoyed once received

Awful experience today, normally this subway is my go to as it’s only over the road but after today I’ll be going elsewhere. Shocking cleanliness in the store, slow staff, queues of over 20 people out of the door. Whilst I was being served I was pushed to one side whilst they dealt with ‘other customers’ when all I wanted to do was pay for my food. By the time I had paid my toasted sub was stone cold. Not impressed and such a shame as this was my go to.

Uh it hasn't even arrived and they refused a refund....

Ordered for a selected time and had earlier options. Apparently shop only had one driver and he wasn't back for another 20 minutes ans that was at 15 minutes late into the order

Food wasn’t what we ordered not. Toasted asked for extra cheese had no cheese at all no crispy onions yet written in the packet wrong crisps too and it was all cold and the wedges cold and soggy won’t be ordering from here again

Still haven't received my order

My visit was fine. The staff were a little light on the sandwich filling. The coke machine didn’t work but that was resolved once reported to the staff. Fine, ok. Not awful, but not quite ‘good’.

Food arrived finally after 3 hours, was cold and soggy. Resutrant said couldent do re fund or money off.

Delivery was late but was very apologetic for the delay. Food was ok

Came up after doing our weekly food shop, the dark haired woman who served us has no customer service skills and lacks basic communication. Claimed to have no chicken even tho the pot was there with the chicken in it. Overall do not recommend this subway to anyone unless you want to feel like an inconvenience for being there! Which has happened on multiple occasions to us, and our peers who have been there!!!

We panicked when we realised the branch we had chosen to order from shut shortly after. My partner rang them and they explained it had gone to the next branch, who very kindly confirmed that it had just left their premises. Very friendly and upbeat.

It was cold and asked for it toasted and it wasn't

After several attempts to call the restaurant I got through only for them to tell me my food is with the driver so it is not their problem. And the person on the phone told me I had ordered from the other store not them so I need to call them instead

It's been over an hour and a half, the app is telling me to 'enjoy my food' but I can't do that, because there is no food. It hasn't been delivered.

They changed delivery time twice to an hour after it should have been and were still 10 plus minutes late. Said they put in cookies to compensate but they forgot the cookies I actually ordered! All the food was cold, and my sub I asked for mayo on had ranch or something else that tasted like sour cream which really turned my stomach. Pretty poor show. Not courier fault as it clearly didn’t leave the shop until well past delivery time.

Awful, hour and 15 minutes late and the restaurant we ordered from didn’t even have the order it got sent to another restaurant so we had a nightmare tracking down our food eventually got it and Food all cold, ice cream melted and the wrong cookie

they really should change their estimated delivery time. it never arrives in that time and is always delayed. food tasted alright though

Ordered 1 footlong sub for pickup on the app, was given a pickup time of 20 minutes. Went to the shop at the pickup time given and my sandwich wasn’t even made and the 2 girls were just stood chatting and it wasn’t busy at all. Dont know why i even bothered to order pickup. Sandwich was decent though.

Was supposed to be delivered at 13:10 but was delivered at 13:40. Bread was soggy and cheese should have been nice and melted but had hardened. I also put “no tomato” for my sandwich but that wasn’t acknowledged.

more than happy to have an early order but why did you have a driver that lives 2 hours away?

Says its been delivered but have received our food and been ringing the store just to he hung up on and not able to get through.

Ordered via Just Eat app at 12:00, with an estimated deceiver time of 12:30-12:40. @ 1:00 called and was told driver was stuck in traffic and it would be soon. 1:15 just eat app shows delivered but no food. Called at 1:20 to be told order will be sent now with extras. No explanation of delivered status, advised food would be with us be 1:50. Just eat app updated to new delivery time of 2:10. At 2:30 no food. Called again to be advised store does not work via just eat!!! I called back 10 mins later. I’ll admit I got irate with the lad the phone “Tyler” who was very apologetic, and tried to help. He tried to call his manager (franchise owner) who refused to help. Asked for a refund, they couldn’t offer one!! I asked for the name of the person I had spoken to on the last 3-4 occasions (Asian woman) and why she had blatantly lied to me. The lad gave me her name and kept on apologising. Whilst I was in the phone, delivery arrived (2 hours late). Food was very cold, but generally ok. Will not be using Subway Tesco Yeovil again. Very rude and unhelpful (except Tyler). Wish I’d read the reviews first!!!

Didn’t have the drink I ordered but left a nice little note apologising and gave us full fat coke instead❤️

It was so late that I had already reported to just eat that it hadn’t come (after they reported it delivered twice). They hadn’t toasted the subs and they were on different breads. Nachos were so soggy there was no crispiness left at all. We got the wrong cookies that unfortunately I can’t eat. The only thing they got right was the drinks. And they told me on the phone there was a glitch on the system so it marked it as delivered instead of ‘on the way’ which wasn’t true.

Very late, rude service, waited 3 hours for food

they gave a delivery time as between quarter past and 25 to 7, they arrived at 25 to 8, they did at least call and say they were running 40 minutes late! when they came, they couldn't find my house that I had verified on the app and didn't bring all the items AND what we got was cold!

every time i order from here my order is delayed and then when it saids delievred it takes another half an hour for the driver to get here. i’m sorry but if you’ve chosen to be a driver then learn how to drive

Over 2 hour wait and my food has still not arrived. IM NOT HAPPY ONE BUT 35£ and can’t even deliver it the person on the phone wasn’t very helpful , they won’t answer the phone I’m actually disgusted

Requested no tomato on order notes and this was ignored. 6-inch was toasted when this was not requested. App said order arrived when it hadn’t. First time ordering through just eat and from subway and was very disappointed. Arrived relatively warm though so was impressed by this (as it is a 20minute drive from store)

Order was very late and the driver dropped it,and also brought cold food with thawed ice cream. He did not apologise for being late and seemed very stressed.No updates on delivery times were given. Terribly overpriced for terrible service.

All staff on mobile phones. The woman in today didn’t look up from her phone when I asked her a question and didn’t respond. The meal deal is deceptive. Advertised at “from” £3.99 but charged at £7.99. No explanation from staff. We are in the middle of a cost of living crisis. Just be honest. Subways longer term loss though as reputationally I wouldn’t rate or recommend this chain. They won’t have more of my money and my family won’t be coming here for food again.

After having to repeatedly call the restaurant and being hung up on. 2 hrs and 20 minutes later my food arrived cold and the bread being wrong . I will never order from these again

The app only lets me say it was 1 hour late, but actually it was almost 2 and a half hours late. Also missing items.

Received order which was wrong it was missing a 6 inch sub and sauce on salad so I called store, said they would send out a door long as an apology and sauce, the store closed half hour ago and still waiting for delivery.

The order took 2 hours to arrive and by that time we had to leave , it was left on the doorstep, expecting a full refund !!!!

My food still isn’t here , normally I wouldn’t complain but it originally said 7:35-7:55 and then said it would be a delay to then 8:20 and it’s now 8:35 and it’s still not here . I’m convinced it’s not coming at all and I’m worried since I have paid £38 for it. Not really sure what to do. Have tried phoning several times but no answer

Took 1.5 hours to arrive and the food was cold and was obviously waiting the entire time as the bread became quite soggy and the toasted sub was completely cold.

Very late. Said it was delivered but not do had to chase it up and wait another half hour. Son had wrong drink. Mine was wrong bread and wrong filling. All during a power cut and we were waiting for hot food.

Food was burnt. Hardly any filling in the rolls. Provided us with the wrong bread type. Overall shocking quality.

Rubbish food, rubbish delivery. Was so excited to have subway finally delivering to here, but that was short lived. What’s the point in having a delivery instruction box for the delivery driver to not be able to read it?

Missing all dips food looked like road kill delivery chucked at me when door opened food over hour 45 late first time ever had it

To be honest this was the most disgusting experience rence I have ever had. I went into subway to grab my 6 inch sub only to hear a woman in the back getting sick all over the stuff. I immediately tried to get a refund for my sandwich and was refused. Fix your staff it’s really lacking in there and the place is filthy. Would rate -1 if I could do not recommend

LEANNE was incredibly rude, refused to acknowledge me, blunt responses and touched her face with the gloves she was wearing. Absolutely will not be returning. Spent £30 only to be treated like I was an inconvenience. (28/12/2023 @ 12:45)

Me and my partner come to subway for a bite to eat. The service was slow, and I had I had a salad. My partner had a sandwich I left and thought my salad box felt a bit light

Close to 2 hours late, food went in bin as wasn’t edible by the time it got here. Massive waste of time and money and will be contacting head office for refund should the store not provide action first

Was supposed to arrive at 14:40 now gone past 16:20 and still nothing, have tried to ring 5 times for it to ring and cut off, wouldn't recommend to anyone to order there unless you want to have your money taken for no food.

I’m very very cross as my order said it’s been delivered but it hasn’t been delivered to me. Now I’m hungry and have no food in the house so this takeaway was going to be enjoyed. Going to bed on an empty stomach now.

I ordered 4 triple chocolate cookies and only got 1, when it finally arrived, all of it was stone cold.

Order was late, I had to chase for an update as the app thought the food had been delivered. Subway was cold and not very "toasted" for a toasted one. Unlikely to order Subway via JustEat app again.

The woman serving was very rude. She failed to explain why I could have salad on my subway and huffed and puffed when I asked for olives. Wouldn’t recommend the new menu either as it’s obviously a reason to keep costs low and cut corners on quality. The sandwich was nice, but wasn’t satisfied with what you can/can’t have on it. Going back to the woman, the family served in front of me were allowed an array of salad where I was told I would be charged for it. I’ll be avoiding any Subway for a while.

Food took three hours to arrive. Complimentary item was a single bottle of Pepsi max. Request for some money back was declined. Missing items. Incorrect items. Ridiculous.

Great communication. Quick delivery just a really pathetic amount of salad. There was more sauce than salad.
