Went in for a meal to warm up after a boat tour. The staff and food was great. Nice find will definitely come back again.

Cosy authentic Italian place right on the quay. Delicious cocktails. Great service. We really enjoyed dinner here. Staff are absolutely lovely. It's comfy and warm inside. Lots of outdoor seating for the summer months. Excellent range of classic Italian dishes and specials. Seafood linguine was particularly good. Paid parking nearby.

Top food and top service. This is a place to write home about. The liver on the specials board was the best liver I've tasted.

Don't go if you're hungry we arrived at 7.30 pm and the food arrived at 9.00 pm. Don't go in the back room and sit next to a Walls ice freezer and watch plates of food being scrapped into the bin in the kitchen! Watch out for the service charge it's in the small print on the receipt.

Such a little gem with the loveliest people creating the perfect cosy slice of Italian heaven. The lasagne was so good and creamy and the fungi omg. Deep fried mushrooms stuffed with cheese and dreams <3 will definitely be back!!

Ate at this family Italian restaurant two weeks ago with my wife and 3 children. Lovely food, gluten free options, lovely service, and the plates were so clean afterwards they didn't really need a dishwasher. Nice location right on the harbour.

Excellent meal all round. The food was delicious, fresh tasting and perfectly made. I had the gnocchi and my husband had meatballs. The tiramisu was also incredibly good. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Definitely visit this restaurant it is well worth it!

Wonderful service and a great set of meals

We were a group of 12. We've been welcomed by the owner who looked after us all the way. We had starters, pasta dishes, meat and fish. Everything was delicious, very high quality food. We even had a taste of a speciality from the south of Italy. Three of us have food allergies, the chef made fresh starters just for us. A real Italian restaurant Highly recommend

Dined here for the fireworks with the kids. Great service, they held our food to watch the show and then excellent food on top. Staff were very relaxed and great service. Highly recommend.

I ordered fish which I asked to be filleted. However, the fish was served looking like it had been kicked around the restaurant and was still absolutely full of bones. A restaurant that can't fillet fish.

Poor, greasy food and over priced. We mentioned some of the shortcomings of the two dishes we had but despite a very good waitress doing her best to relay the feedback there seemed little real interest in the fact that the food was badly cooked with poor ingredients

We eat out a lot and when it comes to authentic high quality Italian Food Da Vinci's is second to none. Freshly cooked food with high quality Ingredients. My Pasta Carbonara was amazing. We were looked after by Ciro who could not do enough for us and was the perfect host. We sat outside in the glorious sunshine over looking the harbour. We will be back.....

Di Vinci’s is a small Italian right in the centre of Poole quay, perfect for date night! The atmosphere in Di Vincis was perfect, along with the service and the food. One of Poole”s hidden gems.

Disappointed as we weren't treated with respect by one of the waiters. Definitely treated like tourists and no respect. Asked if we had booked as need to book a table when it was nearly empty. Ended up being seated and had to keep asking for drinks and to order food. Had to ask for the bill and no hurry for us to leave but told at beginning need to book as busy? When we left there was 6 tables in there. Not sure what else to say.

Very poor quality of the dishes. I had sardines which were so bad I couldn’t eat it and the little of it that I had caused stomach discomfort. My friend had spaghetti bolognaise and it didn’t taste good either.

Had a breakfast on our last day here in August 23 and returned for the same again this year lovely plentiful and well cooked at a very reasonable price for the quality of the ingredients. Moe the owner I believe is very friendly and helpful. If the weather is good sit out and have your food on the side of the quay where you can see the world go by.

Our table was booked for 7pm, we didn’t get to it for 30mins waiting across the road, watching other people just going in??? Starters were ok but main dishes were very poor almost inedible & my order was completely wrong. The young waitress did her best to try to rectify but our dining experience had been ruined by then. There was no apology for being kept waiting in the first instance. They are not providing great service & it’s true that they think we are all tourists that they won’t see again anyway. They want a quick turnover of tables. We are local, we have been before & had an excellent meal & that’s why we chose to go back. After this experience we definitely won’t be. Drinks & starters were £130. Save your money & get better food, go to La Lupa’s.

We visited da vinci's on the 29th of July, and we had a beautiful evening there with the yummiest food and a beautiful view.

Pizza delivered upside so all toppings were stuck to ceiling of box with just an empty pizza

Sunday lunch time we came in your restaurant for lunch, it was superb the food was first class, we would highly recommend your restaurant the quality of the food was 100percent the best Italian food we have ever had, a big thank you to all of your staff, you made us very welcome, as if we were family, thanks from Dave and rainy.

The best Italian food in Dorset

Food and service are amazing, i am often a group of 10+ people food often served at the same time and appropriately hot. Only thing that stops the 5* is the noise can quickly get loud with any others dining, few acoustic panels would go a long way comfortability.

It's a lovely atmosphere by the harbour with lovely staff who looked after us. Food was very nice. However, they did get one of us the wrong order which was the napoli pasta rather than spaghetti bolognese but they were very apologetic and offered to take it back and make the right dish. All in all, a lovely place for dinner

This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality of food and service. The service was one of the strangest experiences I'd ever had. One of us barely touched the chicken dish as it was tough as a boot. We asked for it to be taken off the bill, and the response from the waiter was that he'd done a callback 2 minutes after we received the food, and said we were happy, so the best they can offer is 10% off. In addition, we were misled as to what the waiting time would be. When we arrived, we were told it'd be a roughly 30 minute wait. In reality, it took an hour and 10 minutes from ordering to get our food. When we pointed this out, the waiter tried to gaslight us into thinking we were told this all along. The interior is very dated, and the tables are very sticky. They've also tried to maximise their revenue by putting too many tables and chairs inside, making it difficult to manoeuvre around. It's not very accessible. It's pretty clear this restaurant views their customers as transient tourists and believe they don't need to offer service and food which matches their prices. Save your money and go elsewhere. There are far nicer, and cheaper, Italian restaurants in Poole.

Fab food and service. Sea bream was deboned at the table. Great Calibran Rose wine recommended by the waiter. Seafood pasta dishes were amazing and the fillet steak cut like butter. Tiramisu to die for.

Three of us had food, two were good sized portions Veal and Chicken Dishes. BUT the Lasagne was a snack priced as a main. Tasted amazing but the portion size was small for £16.

I left shocked this evening I was charged nearly. £16 for a white wine and soda whilst an idiot try to pull the wall over my eyes , stating “but madam , it was a large one “ Nothing but a large RIP OFF ! which I l made quite clear when I left DISGUSTING

My experience it was very bad 2 people they have same food past and pizza the pizza’s they was different and not nice and the pasta one of them it was so nice and the second one it was like he just boil it and he put it with taste without any souse it was soooo bad he take it back to make the sauce cause it’s normally it comes with the sauce he put oil on it and giving it to me I force myself to eat it cause I was in rush and I being waiting there for 1h30 min so I don’t have time to waste in another place and in the and I vomit all of it so we was 6 of us 3 of us they wasn’t happy by the food in this restaurant

We Walked Past and made an unexpected visit for dinner , Staff were smiling and welcoming , we had the fillet steak and beef stroganoff, both dishes were delicious, hot and served quickly , really nice decor and atmosphere , thank you !

Very nice food, 25mins late for collection they explained it was due to a large party ordering at the same time our collection was due.

If you want to be able to talk to your partner without shouting don't go here. Noisy, chaotic and overpriced. The owner walked around with his flies undone, the assistant manager was shouting across the restaurant to his staff. We had five different staff over the course of our meal. No one checked whether our food was ok. The portions were small and overpriced eg. The over salted mackerel pate was four marble size balls with four slithers of butter and four tiny bits of stale bread £10.99. My husband red wine was cold. They didn't clear the table of the spare glasses, etc so we had little space and the tables either side of us were so close we could hear each others conversations. It felt like an expensive Italian wetherspoons

My friend and I were in the area visiting family, I recommended this restaurant to my friend as my husband and I had been to Da Vinci's before, I must say we were not disappointed. It has a cosy atmosphere. You can have a drink outside on a warm evening overlooking the harbour. The guys were charming and delightfully helpful and persuaded us to try a new non-alcoholic drink it was lovely. Our meal was very tasty as always. I wish we lived closer we would definitely be regulars. If we are back in town we will return. Thanks to all the team

This place is located at the docks at Poole Quay. It has a good reputation for serving great food so I went with a good friend to try it out. It wasn't disappointing. Definitely will recommend this place to others.

Arrived before they were open, but they kindly let us in. Great menu, plenty of choilce. Food was excellent, I tried Gnocchi for the first time, delicious. Staff excellent. Would highly recommend.

Came at 6pm on a Saturday with my 3 year old daughter. Very welcoming and lovely service. Food was amazing. I’ve never seen my daughter eat an entire pizza she usually has a small appetite (was really shocked considering she’d eaten a lot a few hours earlier) but she finished it all! Great restaurant lovely food and good price.

Really enjoyed my mother's day experience at Da vincis restaurant, a little expensive but other than that I couldn't fault it, I enjoyed all the little touches put on for mothers day like being given a hiachinth plant at the door and greeted very nice and welcoming staff and a funny owner /manager with a good sense of humour.

Lovely place, a friend booked all 8 of us in, we were well catered for, friendly and fast service. Food was amazing and they gifted each of the ladies (mother's day) a potted plant which was a nice touch, they also had a local musician playing in the background. We will definitely be going back...

LOVE Da Vinci’s, I book them for nearly every special occasion! Just had the most beautiful Mother’s Day lunch. Amazing live music, friendly staff, delicious food and affordable prices! They really have admirable attention to detail and really go above and beyond for their guests… my mum was even gifted a potted flower for Mother’s Day! Can’t wait to go back, thank you Da Vinci’s ❤️

3 of us ate here and it couldn’t have been better. We shared starters and the roast mushrooms with chili were amazing. The pizzas were also perfect with fresh toppings and the flavour was incredible. We had a lovely bottle of chianti classico and then another as it was so good. As we were getting ready to leave - we were the last as it was a wet Sunday night 2 people came in to eat. It was obvious the kitchen had just closed and the restaurant was closing. They were extremely awkward people to deal with and yet the guys went out of their way to accommodate them. Well done to James and Ciro who were friendly and helpful throughout our meal. We couldn’t fault the place. We came from Devon where there are very few good family run Italian restaurants so it was a real treat for us. We will return

Disappointing experience sadly. Our large party upstairs was woefully bad. Waited an age for food and when it arrived it was below average. Cheesy garlic bread looked like soggy cheese on toast. Very expensive fixed price party menu. Drinks also very expensive - customers are also not made aware of an optional service charge. We were charged this on every drink order that we made at the bar. I understand it's hard to cater for a large party but you had all our food options pre-ordered and if you are unable to provide a good service then you need to look at this. Sadly many of our friends had similar complaints. We won't be back unfortunately.

Waited 2 hours for food at pre booked party. Got charged 10% service charge without being told on every drink ordered. What a disappointment. Never again and would not recommend to anyone yo book a party here. What a disappointment

Hopelessly overpriced. Food OK but nothing special - my pasta, for example, was bland. It was also cold... Terrible service on a quiet night. Wines on offer were good but prices were *very* high even by British restaurant standards (£24 for 2 large glasses of decent ordinary wine - come on!). We were all disappointed by our food & then the bill came - £230 for 5 of us, with no starters, just a couple of sweets & only 1 bottle of wine included in the bill (we'd paid separately for pre-dinner drinks so the total spend was quite a bit higher). Won't be back!
