Mark (the young man working on Sunday 17/3) is a bad employee. Doesn’t look like he wants to be there, doesn’t listen, gives attitude back when the customer asks why he didn’t listen. Looks miserable. The slowest I’ve ever seen a subway sub made from start to finish. Get rid of him and you’ll probably get a lot more business.

We ordered 2 foot long subs and saw the sign, "make it mega for an additional 40p", the sign clearly said this meant "drink+cookie+crisps". Mark, the member of staff who served us was very quiet and could not have made it more clear that he disliked his job and didn't want to be there. He took a very long time to make the sandwiches and put them in the oven. My husband then asked if we could make it mega, Mark asked us what cookies we wanted, we picked our crisps and then my husband asked for 2 cups for drinks as part of the mega deal. Mark said that we'd "already chosen the mega deal by selecting crisps and cookies" he explained that we couldn't have a drink. We checked the receipt and we realised that he'd charged us for each item separately anyway, not an additional 40p as per the mega deal. My husband asked why we couldn't get the mega deal as advertised, Mark could not communicate this to us and became very short and rude, he said, "the mega deal is a sandwich, crisps OR cookie and a drink" so my husband asked if we could put the crisps back and have a drink instead as per the deal, Mark said asked why and said I just work here, I can't tell you what to order. So my husband picked up the mega deal sign and showed it to Mark and said the deal is very misleading if you can't have all 3, and Mark looked stared at him blankly. I asked if we could speak to a manager because Mark was clearly finding it difficult to understand and communicate, Mark said the manager left for the day already. My husband then asked if we could leave the cookies and crisps and just have the sandwiches because he got fed up of trying to explain the mega deal to Mark. Mark looked at my husband and frowned, he asked "why do you want a refund? You're wasting my time, next time, you make sure you order more carefully". We honestly couldn't believe the disgusting customer service we'd received, then it made sense to us why this Subway has an overall rating of 2.8/5.

Preordered, turned up at arranged time and it took a further 25 minutes to make food 3subs 3 pizza bread and 3 garlic bread. There was nobody in there before when I turned up. Then shorted us on 6 cookies and refused to use our points because we needed to buy something after just spending £ 35 and keeping me almost half an hour over the pick up time!

I have been a few times to this subway store now with my young son after school. We absolutely love this place. The service was great every single time. There’s always a queue because we can see there’s just a lady working there but it’s worth the wait. Can’t complain the waiting time, the staff is trying her best. My favourite is the tiger bread and it’s always freshly baked. Well done to the staff!!! And a big thank you to subway for the wonderful meals!!! Highly recommended this store.

Long wait while the single member of staff made and order for a delivery. I would have been absolutely fine with that, if the member of staff had even acknowledged I was waiting. 2 Star service, but the sandwich was very tasty.

Absolute disaster. I placed an order online today and arrived on time. My order was not ready and the single staff member had not started it, and would not advise when it would be done. I left after 20 minutes with no order and no refund (the order was almost £20). The staff member continued to serve those queueing in store. I will NEVER go to this store again. Customer service at its absolute worst, and comes from poor staffing and poor training of staff.

They seem to close early all the time, happened to me several times now, not really sure what the point of having closing times is in that case. Would be nice if they made them earlier and stuck to them.

Beautiful building in need of some loving care. Two water wheels and very small outside area. Very restricted menu for lunch and beers/lagers only in bottles. Service only average. Quiet little atmosphere. Disappointed.

Children’s sleepover and the mass crowd of kids made their decision to order a domino’s, can’t say as I was best pleased with their decision seeing as Domino’s can never seemingly send the correct order in previous experiences AND THIS WAS NO DIFFERENT! Was refreshing to see that they (Domino’s) had added some items to their menu, to the children’s delight, however this just seemingly gives them more to forget and more things to under cook! Having placed an £80+ order to feed the herds - was disappointing to not receive some of the items and the ones we did receive (chips and wedges mainly) just cannot be cooked properly, not for the first time either - ITS EVERY TIME! It says a lot when not even the children would eat them! Naturally, phoned and spoke to the shop and they were sending a driver to deliver the items not received and was told it would be 10minutes. After an hour and a half - NOTHING! Phoned again and just requested a refund instead (which was checked and verified with management) but still no refund received or apology for the poor experience. Such a shame it’s massively gone down hill - couldn’t beat a domino’s years ago….now they just send slop at a very expensive price! SUMMED UP - don’t use Domino’s….you’ll just waste your money and experience poor quality! Do what I do (when it’s not a mass sleepover full of children) and support the smaller brands - much better quality, at a much better price!

When they actually do food it's good and a good price. I've been there many times to be told they are only doing sandwiches or toasties. And the drinks machine is never working so you have to pay double what you would for a bottled coke. Shame as it was thriving years ago.

If I could leave less I would. 50 minutes late. Missing most the order and an insanity rude woman on the end of the phone. It’s not hard to make get a pizza right.
