Subway in Ipswich

Friendly staff and a very tasty vegan sub sandwich made exactly how I asked 😋 Will visit again! :)

Overall the store is very clean and well organised with quick and friendly service I would have given them a review on subway listens but no recipt given I had the notorious BMT which was very good sub was well made it had 4 slices of ham u usually get 2 My only issue is the lettuce was little brown Would definitely recommend

Had lunch here on Sunday & very good service from the staff, plenty boards showing what you can have & what you can add for people that are new to the restaurant. Service was fast & very efficient & the staff were feiendly & very helpful. A few seats inside if you want to eat in & 2 tables outside also. The foot long I had was very tasty & hope you enjoy yours :)

Subway in Queen Street, Ipswich has the friendliest staff member that I have experienced in a long time. The young woman always greets customers with a professional and cheery manner though thankfully, not over-the-top. She is also very efficient in doing her job. The sandwiches are deliciously made and I have always visited when it is quite quiet so I can easily find my favourite seat - that's just fortunate timing. I highly recommend this branch of Subway due to the superb staff member and the tastiest sandwiches.

The girl serving today was an absolute gem - easily the nicest Subway service I've ever received!

I always went there because I think the staff there is great. But just ordering a take away is not good. An hour waiting and being hanged up on calling them. What a 'not' service. I can do better with my money

As with most other subways is pretty much the same. Not the largest I have been in and not really much space for too many people to sit inside. I wasn't overly impressed with my last Subway. And they also didn't cover some of the offers you can get on the clubcard deals, which wasn't too great.

I went there ages ago so my experience isn’t fresh in memory. However, I’ve never had a problem and would recommend it.... Even though I’m pretty sure it’s not here anymore.

poor quality food, discounts you can't ever use and such insane staff turnover I can only imagine it's a horrible place to work.

I rate 5 stars because this Subway is a bit longer open than the one in Sailsmakers.

Hi I like subway in queen Street as the staff are very friendly and helpful and do the food to a very high standard and they do the lattia really good

It's a standard subway. I like the salad, but wish it wasn't served in a plastic bowl. Meal deals bring your prices down, also well worth getting the subcard, you quite quickly earn enough points for free food. Could do with a little more care being taken to keep the seating area clean, but we did visit towards the end of the evening.

Very lil filling.. also the fact the person serving didnt once change her gloves after serving 2 different customers 2 completely different orders.. 👎👎👎

Sub assembly game on point. Staff courteous and gave me discount after spotting my NHS badge. Respect the initiative and honesty. I wouldn't have known to ask for it.

My first choice of food no matter where I travel. I know exactly what I will get from Subway and recently I discovered their hash browns which make it even more delicious my meals. Good food, affordable and lovely staff.

The staff cross contaminated all the meat with the bread and salad didn't change their gloves serving four people I saw without changing gloves. I ate because I was hungry won't use this subway again

Tried to call, regarding my order phone number not in use, ordered steak and chesse with onion sub, came to me with no cheese or onion. Very disappointed.

Ordered a double cheese chorizo sub, 2 hours later received a cheeseless double beef no cheese....the cheese man...the cheese :( who orderers cheese less the horror

I like Subway but this branch was a bit "meh", the member of staff who served me spoke quietly and too fast, I don't have the best of hearing and they also didn't make eye contact, I find this is key in Customer service. I like their selection of breads, the honey oat in particular, but i always end up with cheese despite asking for NO CHEESE! I am not allergic, I just don't like their cheese. The salad is always fresh, but they are very stingy in their portion sizes, I only have lettuce and sweetcorn on mine, but they put about 4 kernels of corn in and I always have to ask them for more. They are overly generous with the dressing though, and inevitably I end up with a soggy sandwich by the time I get back to the office. Don't get me wrong I would still eat here, but the staff could do with a little more training perhaps?

This is the only branch I have had issues with sadly. I have allergies and became ill when I realised my salad was contaminated with items I didn’t ask for and the chicken was mixed up with something else. Manager was supportive and assured learnings would be made. I made a repeat visit with a voucher given and I was clear with my allergies, although staff checked for sweetcorn in the lettuce, I was then given chicken that again I could see was contaminated with a sauce it’s not meant to be in. I was then offered chicken from out back but this should not have been pushed by me when I was explicit on allergies. Embarrassing that the staff found it then necessary at the end to point out they knew about me and the other visit when I handed the voucher in that carried my name. So many places are so supportive when it comes to allergens but I was just left embarrassed and humiliated by this branch. Clearly the training they said they would do they didn’t bother with.

Very disgraceful No customer service, they are busy wearing sub of the day T shirt but cannot serve it. We've run out period" can you give offer on different one, he responded No and just walked off on me.

You get sandwiches. If that's what you want then here's the place, if you don't want a sandwich go somewhere else.

Went in for a take away coffee & got the nicest, most charming service I have had in Ipswich EVER. I think her name was Lauren B? Bless her; a real treasure!

Good food and polite friendly staff

If you want an overpriced sandwich, look no further than Subway. Aiming to confuse with quick fire questions as to what bread you want, do you want it toasted, do you want this, that or the other. Unless you know exactly what you want, you could go in for one thing and come out with something different.For this, you will pay quite a lot of money. A lot more than a normal sandwich shop. The quality is ok but not brilliant. There are much better places around.

Great location, right in the centre of city.

What a pity that the service is so bad. I recently ordered 3 sandwiches and for some reason they put sweet corn on them. So I had to wait for nearly 10 minutes for them to take it all off. So the sandwiches were cold and Not very nice.Not sure why the didn't redo the sandwiches. Pity as they used to be good. Not sure I will be back.

Quality is ok however portion is very minimal x1 scoop on a foot long is rather 70% scoop. (3 scoops in a footlong) Loss of 30% overall meat Not happy.

Las ensaladas son siempre agradables y frescas en metro. Decepcionados con el Sub de navidad. La carne sólo está disponible en 6 pulgadas (pero supongo que puedes comprar 2) un poco insípido, pero la salsa de arándano ayudó. El servicio siempre es eficiente en metro y normalmente hay una oferta en la que puede ofrecer una opción más barata.

Decent place for a lunchtime snack. Salads are fresh and the bread is nice. Reasonably priced. The fillings are good and there is sometimes a promotion on new fillings. Staff are always good and very efficient at busy times.

Too slow! By the time you reach checkout your sub would be so cold that you can hear Elsa sing 'Let it Go' in it. 😧

It is a normally uncrowded place with friendly, fast paced workers, it is normally neat and clean, i reccomend the meatball mariana personally, with the prices being well worth the products they sell.

I was disgusted with this branch of Subway. Bits of chicken on the cheese slices and no glove changes when staff picked up meat and veg, contaminating the salad. If, like me, you are a vegetarian, avoid this place.

There food is very good but don't waist your money on there Coffee, and why as it is just hot milk and water. I have rated it as the worst coffee ever from a takeaway. This is the second time it's been like it so would not go there again.

Just had a lunch for under £4.00 and that includes a coffee and crisps really good value,in fact on the healthier side of fast food almost unbeatable, great service friendly staff.

Very good subway with plenty of seats, always get a good amount of filling and always clean and tidy

but on the odd day you get some people that are rude and grumpy and that can ruin your lunch time mood.

subways food is always excellent, you get a wide choice with any number of toppings & sauces all for £3 - £4. cheap coffee £1.20 for a decent cappuccino we both had a 6" bun with coffee for a total of just over £8. very filling and tasty

I use this town centre branch of Subway most frequently as I find staff are always friendly and skilled at making the sandwiches, even if they don't cut the old way (cutting a V into the sandwich to better hold the filling), but it seems this is a corporate decision. Overall I recommend this branch, it's clean, efficient, all that you need.

Why on earth these franchise sandwich shops are so busy all of the time is beyond me. The bread is dreadful, the fillings are cheap, and it is all overpriced. There are so many independent sandwich shops with quality products and yet subway has a queue out of the door.

I went here once and will never be in there again unless the staff change their attitudes towards customers. I had no problem with the food though.

Helps me eat fresh. I can avoid microwaved food. Always enjoy it.
