I was a very difficult customer and they treated me really well. I'm sorry for my behaviour and gratefull for their willingness to put things right.

Food is okay, I’m a regular here. Has become expensive recently. Fillet burger for £4 is a rip off but otherwise all good.

Disgusted with the customer service, we order at least once a week from this takeaway same order everytime, never has it arrived with salad and sauces and no mention on the menu of it coming with salad or sauce, but today it did, I have 3 children that will not eat the food, I contacted the takeaway to be told it's my fault as I did not add a not to state no salad or sauce £27 wasted, clearly this takeaway can afford to lose loyal customers because I vow to never use this place again after very poor customer service "see ya" 👋

Really like their food. Every time served tasty and fresh food. Live in Colchester, but in every few months drive to Ipswich with family and get food from them.

Food is not bad. You get lots of fries with your meal, and the chicken is a lot better than that rubbish they serve up at KFC. Although sometimes the chicken is a bit on the dry side. Delivery is very quick, and the drivers are always polite.

They put the sauce at the bottom the worst chicken place i ever ordered and chicken is pink

No chicken! I waited in a short queue, being treated to some obnoxious second hand music from another customer. I was already considering walking out, when the gentleman on the counter asked for my order. I just wanted a small order of some chicken, and it seemed like they had a lot in the hot holding area! I was, however, told that there would be a ten minute wait. This was too much time for such a small order. As such, I did not have any chicken. And I won't be trying it any time in the future either.

We have bought our takeaway here for more than 9 years. It used to be a very outstanding place to buy fried chicken. I used to direct locals to this place esp for the wings. Last week on Sunday we ordered our usual 2boxed of 6 wings meal deal and chicken nugget and popcorn for our toddler. The chicken wings didn't seem fresh and were too spicy. If felt like the recipe had changed. The fries were so dry, it felt like we were eating beef jerky. After 10 minutes of eating, I was having bouts of diarrhoea and same for my partner. We believe that we had food poisoning. I am beyond disappointed I really had pride in this takeaway but it's gone downhill. We will not order ever again from here. This experience and few others has made us realise it will never be the same takeaway we once enjoyed.

I really do not relate with these reviews, I have chosen NFC over KFC the last 3 times. KFC uses too much batter and is really fatty underneath, To be fair, I have only ordered the chicken and chips, not burgers/wraps or Ribs. The beans are over priced for the portion size and they do not do the gravy, however hands down winners with the chips and tasty hot chips on delivery. Can not comment on many of the following questions because we always use just eat and have not visited the restaurant/take-away.

Service was fine. Chick strip burger was tiny the bun was twice the size of the chicken and I asked for periperi salt and confirmed and it still wasn't put on the chips 🤦🏾‍♀️

Very disappointed. Chips cold and leathery. Ribs full of fat and sinew. Chicken dry and tepid. Wings pretty good and at least warm. Onion rings tasted of nothing. .all in all will not return

My partner ordered a regular burger without cheese as he cannot eat it. Burger arrived with cheese so he called them to say the orders wrong. They got annoyed on the phone said we didn’t click the no cheese option checked receipt and clearly did. They sent another but the delivery guy was SOOOO rude basically chucked this burger at my partner and gave him loads of abuse and was quite aggressive before just turning his back to us and walking away. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Grubby inside shop and cheap for a reason! Orded a nacton tower burger but they should change the name to tiny burger! And the kids burger was basically a chicken nugget in a bun. .Wouldn't go back

Whilst working local we thought we'd give Nacton Fried Chicken a visit for lunch, with a large menu on offer we decided to go for a simple chicken burger meal & some chicken & chips, there was a few customers ahead of us but less than we've seen in other places at a lunchtime.. the order was taken as soon as we entered so everyone else must have already ordered.. we waited what seemed like an eternity, 20 minutes later we were handed our order, fast food this was not! The portion sizes were good & everything was cooked properly & fresh.. it was this that caused the delay between ordering & collection, our advise.. if visiting leave plenty of time.. we felt considering it was a lunchtime they were not very prepared.

Chicken burger was nice with little bit of lettlers need more just mayo in the chicken burgers 🍔 was not enough and I had brought many times expected to have been one off but must be the norm seem like about 5 micro drops in side, price wise was little on expensive side, expect to be £3.50 to £4 chips was great and tasty with salt.

I rate this food place just 1 star on the service I had received...I was a regular customer food and delivery service was always good, unfortunately upon recieving my order I was missing a meal. I contacted the shop and informed them of items missing, was told food would be with me they must have been missed off the order so I waited and a delivery guy turnt up threw my missing food items at the door and walked away. Cannot fault the food very tasty...but I will not be using this place again.

The food is good however my child and I caught nasty diarrhoea from either contaminated food or dirty hands. We haven't been anywhere to catch anything and this was the only food we had had prepared by someone else in weeks.

I always order my food from here. Price is good, food is lovely and it is always on time.

I'd avoided this place for a long time, but I had a voucher to use up on one of the delivery apps and this place is local. To be honest, the chips were OK, the chicken was OK... but the portion of chips was tiny. If you order off the app, it is really expensive compared to in store. The app says Meal Deal and describes it as including a drink, but then you need to pay extra for the drink? I also asked for sauce, salt and vinegar and got nothing. I would recommend going elsewhere for chicken and chips.

Absolutely disgusting... Not only was the food late but it was cold and soggy. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! Rude delivery driver aswell and didn't even have the correct change.

This Review is about the food NOT the fact the Delivery arrived early,but then took 15 minutes to get to my address. Food luke warm due to the above so we had to reheat in oven. Ribs were terrible,strange texture and very little 'meat'. Chips ok after reheating. Nuggets pale but edible. Wish I've seen these Reviews rather than the ones on Just Eat......

Poor service, not professional and just rude. Used to be a good place but now the food is poor and the prices have almost doubled.

When you order leg and thigh and you get home to find 2 dry up breast. Then you call to complain and they tell you we have no chicken. Rather pay extra and go kfc.

Absolutely amazed by the chicken from this place! Fantastic flavour, well cooked and seasoned. I usually throw out hot wings that are part of a meal deal as I've never going any that tastes nice as well as being spicy. Nacton Fried Chicken hot wings are delicious. The portion size of chips was larger than expected. The staff were friendly and chatty which made for a pleasant wait too. I'll never go to kfc again, this is the best fried chicken shop I've ever eaten from. They also have a food hygiene rating of 5.

First time orgering from here, definitely won't be the last, I have 5 very picky children when it comes to chicken & ribs, & not one of them complained, they actually wanted more. The food was just amazing, delivered early, hot & tasty, by a friendly delivery driver.

Very greasy, bottom of bag was a pool of grease! Deleted very driver could not find us, instead of callin* he went back to shop, shop said we didn’t answer the door, 2nd attempt, driver called to say couldn’t find our house. The delay probably made the food soggy, it was still hot. Never seen so much grease before.

Food wasnt up to normal standards. Burgers buns were broken. So was hard to eat. Chips were soggy and Luke warm. Lettuce was dark looks old. Nothing great to say. Dont normally have a problem with them but unfortunately this time round food wasnt up to scratch.

Chicken wings are very nice and the food is cheap. Only dropping a star because they dont deliver to my postal area! Delivery range is very limited.
