Greggs in Ipswich

The staff are so slow, even with the smallest if queues. Mostly chatting out the back. Have left twice now as just get left while one member of staff faffs around with a push button coffee machine. (Felixstowe road)

Popped in to this branch as in town early, Tracy was so lovely with her cheery smile, she was helpful and polite and a really nice staff member, thankyou 🙂

I heard the member of staff say to his colleague the sausage, bean and cheese bakes were ready in a second but because it was relatively busy, he couldn't be bothered to get them out when i asked for one so i walked out with nothing being told "Sorry we don't have any"

I was served by Klaudia and she is such a pleasure to see every morning. I always get my mocha on my morning commute and she just makes my day! Give this girl a holiday she is always there!

Great shop, unfortunately I asked for hot sausage rolls and they were cold, but everything else was great.

I am a fan of Greg's but on this occasion when it was in the middle of lunchtime rush unfortunately my sausage roll was barely warm, but I will be back.

Worse greggs store in the UK. Very slow. There never anything in there. Specifically at the start of the day. Better off shutting it down.

Placed an order through justeat. After some good 45 mins a lady kindly phoned me to inform me there are no sausages... no bother, just replace my sandwich with bacon. No big deal. However, the order took another 45 mins, making it 1,5 hours! This is before midday. They didn't include my hash browns, my doughnuts and replaced my baguette for a roll!!! I'm fuming. I will never order from this place again!

A smaller shop with few chairs, inside or out, but we bought our lunch and then sat in the square by the fountains, serenaded by buskers. Cannot fault a greggs, lovely food cooked onsite.

This is the worst shop ever not for the first time i went in and asked for a bag of bread rolls she made a bacon roll i left it after paying £2.80 my husband wen back in( as i was afraid i would lose my temper as i said not the first time) he asked for the rolls got a grunt and that will be another £1.35. What a wicked rip off £4.15 for six rolls we could have got twice as many and change from marks and spencer not somewhere i will recommend to any one

Greggs major bakeries can be found in several towns around the country along with now probably over 100 in store shop bakeries. Always top quality.

Lovely friendly staff . Hot sausage rolls and lovely cup of tea . Didn't notice un cooked bread till halfway to my destination.

No gluten free options. Many vegetarian options. Nice and helpful staff.

Last two visits have not been good experiences. Staff are slow and don't seem that bothered there is a queue out the door. People leaving because they can't wait. My sausage roll was stone cold. Afraid I won't be returning.

Brought a magic bag to save food waste for £2.59. It was absolutely packed with sandwiches, pasty, doughnuts and sausage rolls. Best value ever and very tasty

Went in for sausage rolls on the way back to the spiral car park.. In the queue,we noticed potato wedges and chicken goujons. So,..in British fashion...had to try them Omg!..for a quick munch they are perfect...lovely flavour,..cooked perfect. Can't complain at all! Our new favourites by far... Full tummies at home now...🤭👍🏼 Looking forward to going into any other Gregg's for my new favourite now😊😊

I work on Museum Street and often frequent Greggs for my lunch, so much so that the staff now remember my order by heart! Lovely people, good quality food for a decent price. Can't fault it!

Can't beat a Gregg's sausage roll when wanting a snack on the go and there coffees alright as well

Always happy staff, good food, so busy today asoads of people out and about. The self service hot food shelves were empty, a positive for the shop. I had a latte and a yummy sausage roll. Lovely to be able to sit inside. Well done Greg's Ipswich

À branch in the western part of the town centre, with most of the food options and a little seating.

The service is normally very good here - but today there was a young man serving who had a very abrupt manner. Not good.

Not impressed. The server was indifferent to serving me, certainly not friendly, not much selection and the food was cold so assume the hot cupboards aren't up to the correct temp.Only popped in because I was in a hurry, i won't be lowering my standards and making that mistake again.

This bakery is now being run really efficiently. The staff are totally in the ball. Well done...yummy and organised. 😁

A very busy town centre store that is popular with all ages, I have rarely been in there without a queue out of the door, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have been lucky enough recently to get fresh hot sausage rolls straight from the oven which is lovely as they are not so great when they have been sitting there for ages. Love the pink jammie donuts. It's a cheap and reliable place to eat and the staff do make it a pleasant experience to come here.

The new vegan sausage rolls are banging. Love pretty much every type of pastry goods they sell here.

Tantamount to KFC running out of chicken!!! Called in at 2pm for beef and vegetable pasties and sausage rolls but sadly they had neither. None available cooked. none available cooking. none available to cook later. Rubbish!

The food at Greggs is always stone cold the idea is that you go in for a hot sausage roll or steak bake etc they are under the counter so should have a heater to keep warm but they don’t and it’s so annoying when you get cold food. This isn’t just this Greggs and in fact is all Greggs in Ipswich

I love baguettes from Gregg's, so delicious and fresh and vegan sausage rolls.

Greggs is a great shop .I use them anywhere I find one. The exception being the Cloisters Road branch. The assistant Manager James when serving was rude had bad personnel skills and was very unprofessional when serving. I thought it was just with me but he has this attitude with all customers. He really should be confined to the back room.

If this is the Greggs at Ipswich station, I recommend it for good coffee and snacks. It's a Greggs like any other but the staff make the difference.

I thought greggs were famous for sausage rolls & had built an empire from them, it was 2.15pm & they had run out, how can you run out of your market leader ? I was offered a coffee to make up for this mistake

Greggs. You are amazing. When most places are charging the price of just a coffee, for what your deals are. ie a hot drink and pastry. How do you do it? My only concern is your machine coffees. They are what they are. However if you were to make your own coffees I think this would set you apart even further from competition. I will still use you though as I love what you are setting out to achieve.

Went here today for takeaway bakes; chicken bake and Cajun chicken bake. Service was quick and friendly. Food tasty. No complaints.

This branch of Greggs has really gone down hill. I was ignored until the two assistants had finished their conversation. The woman who served me seemed uninterested and moody and to cap it all she over charged me.

Service is always good here. Had to wait a while while my pizza slice was hot, but I wasn't in a rush. Certainly filling and the custard doughnuts are excellent. Greggs are everywhere now!

Clasifico el baguettes y sándwiches ligeramente por encima de la mayoría de cadenas hoteleras. Los donuts aquí son muy buenos y sin duda a la par con crujiente de color crema. Pastelera que son deliciosos. Aparte de eso, usted sabe qué esperar cuando vas a una sucursal. Sólo el servicio difiere y aquí es está bien.

I always go into Greggs for cakes, or any other baked product, and they are very nice. I go and always purchase a hot chocolate, which is smooth, and delicious. Would recommend to people in Ipswich, and tourists outside of Ipswich.

Breakfast rolls, Good, if you get served by the older women or guy in the place. The younger woman is really stingy with butter. My baggette was only buttered (barely) one side. Both the the young woman and the younger guy have a habit of building up your baggatte, looks nice, pops it in the bag and then tip it up to tie the top. Meaning the entire contents of your baguette ends up in the bottom of the bag.

I love greggs the food is great, the price is right... But some of the staff at this store have shocking hygiene when it comes to serving food in the morning. One young lady we will call "t" 3 times I have been in to get breakfast she has stopped serving got the raw bacon out with bare hands, put in in the oven then carried on serving without washing hands then handling money and THEN making the bacon rolls .... Disgusting! And to top it all off for manager is just as bad, always rushing about you have to tell the order twice because she never really listened to you she is such a hurry, handling money then handling food.A couple of times I have walked out because I just can't stand the thought of how many germs ends up on my bacon roll the last time I went I told the manager what I see. The reply was no no my staff the rules ..... Shame she don't !

Una de mis tiendas favoritas de parada rápidas - un montón de picaduras variados para comer por su hora del almuerzo - siempre nos recibió con una sonrisa y si el tiempo un rápido pasando por hora del día.

Fuimos a Greggs para un aperitivo y una bebida rápida. Había tanta variedad y todo estaba a un precio muy razonable! El personal era muy eficiente y amable. Lo recomendaría.

Lovely cardboard pizzas and average everything else, go to Victoria's bakery instead.

If you love you sausage rolls, steak bakes etc. etc., you'll love it here...have been to Greggs in a few different places and they never fail to please! There is a Greggs in Ipswich though which stays open at weekends pretty much for the duration that the nightclubs stay open, which is a bonus!

Great place for a snack or quick lunch. The chicken bakes and pizzas are fantastic, as is the selection of cakes.Always very good value, and there are often meal deals available.Definitely recommended
