Mcdonald's Restaurant in Ipswich

Food was cold and no napkins in the takeaway bag. Took food back fro a refund manager was reluctant to give the refund and tried to give a new meal instead

More than 30 minutes waiting, food came cold, and all the time, we got something wrong or missing in our order. Definitely I do not recommend this McDonald's to anyone.

Food takes a long time to come due to all the delivery peoples orders taking priority

Called in here for a bite to eat, slow service, dirty kitchen and tables. Asked guy (Tom) behind counter if he could clean and wipe tablets down, but a clean environment to eat your food does not seem to be at this restaurants highest priority for customer care. The kitchen floor and work surfaces were also in a poor condition of cleanliness and not to an expected high hygiene standard.

Literally never gotten my complete Oder from this place. Apple pies they just seem to want to hold onto them

As good as any good mcds. Not a lot more to say really, I always drive through here so no idea about the inside

Well the machines didn't work, the chips were served mostly cold, some of them were over cooked and some also seemed under cooked. It's annoying the food not being served hot, very disappointed.

The mcdonalds is in the wrong place as a traffic queue onto the main highway and to small as in carpark wise and store. One thing I will say is the staff put up with a lot from the uber eats and deliveroo and just eat drivers they are rude to the staff and customers alike there has been a few time I have told the delivery drivers to do one and stop being so rude

A Good McDonalds, food is great, but needs a separate counter for Deliveroo/JustEat, etc. drivers. They are constantly taking over the collection counter and getting in everyone's way

Clean and quiet. Shame the pancakes where overcooked and crunchy on the edges

Been waiting in the drive thru for nearly an hour. Ordered two cheeseburgers and mozzarella dips and now waiting in a bay to brought to us. This is not fast food.

My dad looks forward to coming here for his breakfast, usually has porridge and toasted muffin with Jam & a cappuccino which is good coffee and value

Surprised theu have 3 stars to be honest.... long wait. Cold food.. staff standing around chatting I'm not surprised the food took so long. No sence of ergancy it's fast food god dam it!! 20 mins for a drive through not cool.

Awful! Ordered via just eat app, 1st delivery time 8:20-8:40, 2nd delivery time, 8:50-9:20, 3rd delivery time 9:20-9:30. Arrived cold!!!!!

Ordered food and aside from the 50 minute wait on a friday afternoon which was bad enough what did come was stone cold and the mcflurry had totally melted. Useless.

EDIT: I can't leave a second review so i'll add to this. I came back here as my colleagues wanted McDonalds. It was a large order granted, but they still managed to miss items off and the floppy cold fries didn't look to have any salt on them. Don't bother. After 3 attempts they still couldn't get the order right. I've lost count of how many times items have been missing. Probably enough to justify going to a small claims court by now!

Crazy busy on the drive through, who take precedence over us mere mortals, so we have to wait ages for our order. It is prepared and just left, and....left, and.....left. And, when you ask for your order number they look at you like you are a piece of rodent droppings! Then the you wonder why you waited: for the luke warm offerings of so called "fast food" which: in my opinion is not fit for the wild rats of our fair country.

I come here regularly, the food is good and the staff are excellent. Regrettably the queues are quite long for drive through, so I've recently started parking across the road and walking in. On 3 occasions lately, I have gone in and seen the staff being abused and harassed by delivery drivers/collection drivers. I think McDonald's should be doing more to protect their staff from abuse, it is not fair in them. Even if disbanding deliveroos, mcdeliveries etc

Cold, undercooked fries. Forgot to add the sauce as usual. Chicken burger over cooked and hard. Most the food is cold

In my order was cheese burgers I drive home to eat opened up cheese burger to find no pattie , so I have a cheese and gherkin burger

Went here for fast food, got home to a cheeseburger without the meat lol then to get accused by customer service for eating the meat to get free stuff lol,

I took a massive poo in the toilets and left skids have fun cleaning

It has very small parking space and is always full of delivery drivers occupying those.

It gets very busy so It takes a little while to get your food

Really poor. Used mcdelivery. Uber delivered. Main meal was missing. Apart from a drink. Cost £10 for this meal. Had to call Uber ( which was not their fault as they just delivered) McDonald’s obviously missed this meal. After 15 mins calling got a refund of £5. So a large Coke cost me £5. Really poor. 3rd time this has happened. I should learn and not use.

Did delivery food missing & cold. Really unhappy.

The machines are always faulty and leave you without a receipt,when I visited last time the token number was not displayed on the screen and ofcourse there was no receipt so I have to wait until someone find my order.Most of the stuff are overly priced without any quality, chips are the only thing I find ok there.

It's macdonalds hot and filling treat for the kids friendly staff order rarely wrong

This place has had no heat for over a week. Obviously the franchisee doesn’t care about customers but to expect staff to work in this arctic conditions, appalling, thank goodness for the Felixstowe branch and the White House branch, when there’s issues there they are sorted!

Won't be using this outlet anymore. For the second time running today, our order when eventually delivered, has been cold and items missing. Very poor service.

Kids too lazy to cook chicken at night again ordered a chicken Big Mac meal and got a regular beef. Too lazy to get sauce cause apparently they have no curry or bbq laughable, last time it was cup holders. Perhaps McDonald’s is going broke. Won’t be using again.

Went for quick meal after work. Tables were dirty, food took ages, and no interaction with staff. However, the fries were amazing. 4 stars just for the fries

This is the place I'm sure the film falling down was based around, you get bad, then worse and then this place...

Everytime I've ordered from here the food is always cold and not even up to standard, half of a large fries, and you'll be lucky to receive your whole order from here.

Awful customer service. I have been in sales and hospitality for years. The only employee in here that deserves credibility is Krystian. Amazing employee, deserves all of the authority.

Frequently warm at best, fries often near cold and pale. Supposed to be 24hrs but frequently unable to book anything other than drive thru at night

Mcdonalds is pretty standard where ever you go. This McDs does at times have issues with items being missing or slow service. More often than not good servie and food. On the whole you get what you expect

Staff didn't want to talk to you even tho u r standing, 1 man lost it , the reason was the machine wasn't expecting payment and u had to pay at counter

Without fail every time we order at least one main element of the order is missing when delivered. It's ridiculous how this can happen every time without some sort of training to stop this from happening. Then it's impossible to contact them on the phone because no one ever answers. Worst Macdonald's branch I have used by far.

Ordered from just eat, just to find out I won't be doing much eating with half my order missing. Missing!!! Every Time something is missing, they are purposely stealing from you. If it was down to incompetence you would occasionally get the wrong order or too much food. I had to delete my previous review just to write this one. Safe to say I won't be ordering from here again. Most go to McDonald's for convenience, not the outstanding quality, and this is far from convenient.

Walked in, and within a couple of minutes, I had ordered my caramel frappe. This was ready to collect minutes later, and I was sitting outside enjoying it in the sunshine.

Great food love McDonald’s my favourite! But I have to write about the cashiers on the drive through yesterday were AMAZING 2 males around 11am. They were absolutely brilliant and made my day and from listening to the convo from the car in front of me it made his too!!! Thank you

It's McDonald's, if you need something fast and there's nothing else about ! Coffees great, so it has something going for it.

It's only going to receive one star. It says it's open 24 hours but it's not if you owning by car at 24 hours. But if you want to go in and order they shut us 11:00 p.m. but you look on the website and opening hours on Google maps. It's saying 24 hours. That's what I call force advertising. They should get done for it 😞

Went through drive through and the guy taking our order said certain things we wanted he couldn’t put through even though last week we could (wanted a wrap of the day but plain and add cheese and bacon) we have had the same order for way over a year now and has always been allowed she said she couldn’t do that so we said okay just with cheese then which she could do when we got the wrap it was wrong it come out as a sweet chilli wrap so had to go and take it back in for replacement to which at that point I heard the manager shout at someone that they keep getting orders wrong that this was the fifth one today finally got the right one and the chicken was so dry and hard that it was in edible by this point we had already driven off so weren’t going back again for the third time! To top it off it’s given my partner food poisoning! He has hot sweats through the night and all of today he’s sick keeps getting hot sweats! Not good enough at all ! I would like someone to get in contact please as it’s not acceptable at all I work in a restaurant so I know how the industry can be but the service level was shocking!

i asked for no pickles on my burger and they refused they put several on there to spite me. i am very upset and will not be returning

Clean, quick but not too quick service for the breakfast. Parking and entry is about of a nightmare with the position of the drive through.

Food is normally well cooked and not too greasy. Breakfast is often nicer than the lunches but this varies some days. Good for a quick bite to eat or on the go. Would reccomend

Once again I get home and the order is missing something. I may as well have given them £5.89 and said don't worry about putting the nuggets in, we'll just eat the sauce on its own. Stopped using this McDonalds about a year ago but just went on my way home for convenience. Never again. Useless.

The worst McDonald's in Ipswich. I been here a few times because it's in my area, but on my last visits I was very dissapointed about their taste, food and service. It's a waste of money to come here. Also it wasn't any difference between medium and large portion of fries (and they're pretty uncooked and unsalted).

Bit of an odd entrance to the drive through and easy to miss. Service a little slow but very friendly

Decent food, good when you can't be bothered to eat out properly. Food came quickly. Shame it goes cold within like 10 mins if you are trying to go home to eat it.

Asked for BBQ sauce which I was told would be put in the bag which it wasn’t and paid for large meal but received medium fries. I would have gone back but after waiting in the drive through for what felt like a lifetime I decided not to drive back to wait 10 minutes to complain.

I’m a professional HGV driver, who obviously can’t get through their parking in a lorry. Middle of the night,Thiago served me in the door, without any problems, showing the solution to get my food from them. Definitely recommend their service for the future.

I took take away- ordered through Drive thru. It was quick, service. Could place order easy and got food within 5mts. Overall 👍.

Wouldnt use this place again, parking is difficult due to the large numbers of Deliveroo drivers parked awaiting their next delivery! Staff should ensure drive in customer can park.

Food is okay pretty such what you'd expect from a mcds. A very busy Mcdonalds I've never not seen a queue at the drive thru even at midnight. Service is okay I've never had a bad experience.

Restaurant seems messy. The last 2 times I visited tables left with rubbish.

Just got back from McDonald’s having been served up under cooked chicken in my wrap! Had to abandon my meal and leave. Staff too busy to complain too! Needless to say I won’t be going back

Slow service had to wait 10 minutes in the queue and was right near the ordering point. The service wasn’t that great with staff members touching their hair/face then the cup lids etc probably won’t go back to that particular mc Donald’s again

I ordered a muffin and it was good but it was all over the place and not cut properly and there was a person smoking outside in a parking space who worked at mcdonald's I will ONLY come back if you cut the muffins right

Usually cheap and cheerful like most McD, however on Saturday lunch when we most recently visited seemed a bit of a disaster. There appeared to be no leadership as everyone in the kitchen was standing around arguing and nothing got cooked for about 20 mins. It wasn't really that busy but in the end they rushed out some cold food. Also stingy portions but think this is common place now.

If you like waiting 30mins at a drive through to then be given only part of your order which you then bite into and it is stone cold. Then I cannot recommend this place enough. On the other hand if you like quick service correct and hot food go to the 24hr one at Felixstowe. It is actually quicker to drive to Felixstowe get served and come back than wait in the queue here. I know this because me and my mate tried it !!!!! Given two stars as it is near Lidl.

If you don't have a coffee again, close it.!!!

For a fast food restaurant, it's getting slower and slower to get my family a meal. All due to just eat and uba slowing it all down. Staff do their best though.

Not a bad McDonald’s. However car park is pretty tiny and the drive thru lane covers the entrance to the car park. So when busy can get a bit chaotic.

Quick service and great food as always!
