Visted on a Sunday around 5.30pm, not too busy. Asked if I could order at the counter and was told no so ordered using the screen, then saw a staff member finish their shift and order with that same staff member at the desk. After placing my order using the screen, I asked the staff member to please add lots of sweetcorn to me order "please pile it on". I feel this was ignored. Food generally OK but would have preferred the better service that is usually delivered when ordering at the counter.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have order screens at a subway should reconsider having anything to do the food industry. Waited over 10 minutes for the same people to chose their order because they now have the opportunity to be picky at a Subway. Thanks for wasting my time

Since the way of ordering a subway meal has changed at these services I have found it impossible to order a meal. The screens don't work or are unresponsive and stick or log you out before you finish your order. I look forward to eating a subway on my infrequent long journeys but I gave up. I'm sure it's much quicker and easier the old way. I don't want your ready made subs that include dome awful choices buy enjoy choosing my own ingredients. Won't be stopping here again. I could have ordered online before I left home but couldn't guarantee a pick up time and when a sub is premade it goes all soggy and is not the same. Shocking services all round.

They have changed the system to be fully automated. No choices any more. Staff are grumpy and tell you that you have to order from automatic kiosk. Sandwich was a disaster. Falling to pieces and including strange things that I would never add. Manager just said head office says so. Only good thing was the full refund.

Not the best. Pretty much have to order via the machine so you can’t check your order when you get it. Missed out half our order & one of our sandwiches wasn’t toasted. Doesn’t help that it’s in the services building so I’d go elsewhere.

Absolutely hideous. Worst service station experience ever. Didn’t think you could get a sandwich wrong but they got all 4 of our orders wrong. No salad at all in any despite it being requested. Mine just had a blob of tuna mayo in the middle of a soggy bread ‘sub’ - and cost over £5! I can’t tell you how bad it was. We waited so long for it we couldn’t be bothered to go back and complain once we were in the car and discovered how bad it was.

Unfortunately two of the three sandwich we received were not as we ordered them. They had no cheese in and one had sweetcorn in, which was not selected at ordering. Also, the chicken bites were soggy. The delivery was good, however the food quality was poor.

New machines that don't work. Staff who cant read a simple chart. Well this is turned in to a right joke of a place takes you half hour to finally get your meal to get it toasted when stated not didn't get my number from machine because you have got to be telepathic to know it no receipt the staff ain't helpful at all I ended up asking for refund. Oh and £10+ for something not even made to my taste go away too expensive lose plenty customers like this guaranteed won't be going here again I used love subways now to expensive like Ms ds!!!!!!!!! Really craving a 12 inch Big breakwich, no ketchup, with japalenos, and a 12 box of cookies Go to subway Can't order with a real human person, but a screen look for big breakwich for a solid 2 miniutes find it Can't remove ketchup Can't add jalapenos try to add anyways, adding another 2 minutes to order time fail and give up pick "takeout" which adds a 10p fee for a bag have to cancel whole order to reorder my sub pay, then wait 5 minutes for sub worker asks if i want ketchup, and i say no, and add jalapenos she agrees when picking up my sub, i notice that all those problems leave me without my cookies To Subway Management: The whole point of subway is to be there when making your sub. pick the bread, pick toppings, see the fresh ingredients. BE THERE WHEN THE SUB IS BEING MADE making me order on a screen, and obscuring the ingredients with massive stickers is not what the customers want. Customers want to see the ingredients they are going to eat. not .jpeg files on a screen. And if by any chance the workers are reading, the only reason this review got 2 stars instead of 1 is because of you. You were patient and understanding. if not for those annoying screens, this would be a 4 or 5 star review.

Waited 5 minutes to use a Kiosk. Spent 5 minutes on said Kiosk, couldn't find what I was looking for. Staff refused to take an order, so asked for help from staff, someone else Hopped on the Kiosk, staff just shrugged.... Get rid of these trash kiosks.

The food again had items missing, I was missing a cheesy garlic bread and a doughnut. My sandwich was cold, clearly not been toasted and the bread was dry and hard like it had been out for some time. The food was that bad I threw half my sandwich away. Very disappointed.

I eat a lot of Subway sandwiches and this is my worst experience by a long way. I ordered at around 6.45pm. The bread was dry and stale (with patches missing from the top), and I could see little bits of mould on it (see photo). I didn't notice the mould at first because I was so hungry, but took a closer look when I realised that I wasn't enjoying my sandwich. The person who made my sandwich was very nice and I can't believe she gave me this substandard bread. I took it back and she blamed the oven. However, I don't believe that for a second. (I used to work at Subway.) Her colleague was much closer to the mark when she admitted that it could have been bread from the morning (and note that it was a very hot day). Although there was no apology, they did remake a six inch sub for me and the bread was much better (soft, without bare patches and without bits of mould). I was shocked at this experience, but then saw the reviews. I hope that they can drastically improve.

They must grow the grain for the bread themselves, only reason I can think of why I waited 20 minutes for a half full piss poor excuse of a sandwich, forgot stuff from the order and paid extra for drinks to find out they didn't have them. Absolutely useless. Go to KFC instead

Ordered a sandwich at the kiosk, but as I was waiting, one of the preppers asked me if I wanted it toasted and with cheese. I thought that was odd, as I had just selected all those options on the screen. When I got my order, it was wrong. Thankfully, still a veggie delite but it had red onions (which I had unselected), no olives and no sauce. The lady who served me insisted (and she was right) that they had simply made what came up on their screen. I said that while that may be true, it isn't what I ordered, so I would like the sandwich I paid for and asked for it to be remade. The manager explained that because they made what was on my receipt, he couldn't justify the expense of remaking it to his manager. I wonder how he'll justify another bad review on top of the many already on this page.

I had an awful experience here. I am hearing impaired so I rely on looking at the order screens. My order was in preparing column then just disappeared. I went to enquire and the lady angrily told me she had been announcing the order. I explained I could not hear very well and it was never shown as ready on screen. She said it was my fault , and never apologised. She thrust the order at me and walked off. I got to my car and discovered the sandwich had no salad. I went back to the manager and he again said this was my fault, refused a refund. Humiliating and embarrassing. Not what you would expect from a global brand. Please, please Subway, retrain these people , they are destroying your name.

Terrible, well done guys, you've managed to score just 1.7 out of 5 stars. Had a code on the app which they refused to take at the til, the first subway I've found to have an issue with this. Told me i must order via the app. OK, no problem, but it's says restaurant offline. When I raised this they clearly didn't care, I had to wait for 10 mins for a manager to say he doesn't know why it isn't working and there's nothing they can do. Staff have little customer service and subway should really take a closer look at the franchisee.

The delivery time kept changing initially it said 13:30, but then kept moving back and it arrived at 13:50. Also I ordered a sugar doughnuts to eat after my food, this was so stale and hard I put it in the bin.

Simply don’t eat here!!! From reading the reviews and experiencing this subway for myself, wow. Just wow. You couldn’t ask for more disorganisation if you tried. They allowed people to continuously use the self service screens despite a waiting area full of maybe 20-30 people. Not only did me and my partner wait for 50 MINUTES. For a simple order, but an order that they still managed to get wrong with barely baked bread, missing condiments and shocking safety for allergens. This subway needs to close or a serious review made, but considering similar reviews date back over 2 years ago I doubt much will change. Pathetic.

Visited this Subway at Welcome break on my way to London. They had new item on the menu Veggie Breakwich and it was clearly stated 6” sub + Drink 3.59 as you can see in the image. Manager denied that offer. The lady who was making sun didn’t know what the recipe was, we kept pointing at the board saying we want veggie breakwich . Eventually she managed to make the sub in stale bread and greasy. Mr Ash, the manager said their system wasn’t working but it was clearly advertised on the board that Sub+drink for 3.59. He was very rude to be a customer assistant position. I recommend you save yourself from anger and never visit this place.

I have been given the wrong order. I tried to call the mobile back which called me, but is a standard Just Eat voicemail message. My recepit is attached to one bag, but it has different food in. And there is another receipt attached to the drinks bag, which I assume is what is in the main bag

Dreadful service, awful food. Waited in the queue and was told to order from an assistant who was busily replenishing the stock. She said "just a minute" and walked off, returning with more stock and continued to restock, completely ignoring me .The first assistant then seemingly annoyed at her,took my order. No engagement, no customer interaction. The food was not worth the £7.08. A sad reflection on the company who clearly aren't bothered as they have a captive audience. If you're reading this and wondering whether to order from there, don't! I'd rather go hungry than experience such poor service and awful food. If there was a negative star rating I would have given it. The one star I've given flatters them.

It was horrible on another level. I ordered a sandwich no vegetables and the manager served it so imagine the employees. I told him he didn't do it correctly and he said thank you. It wasn't a good time but it has lots of other shops nearby.

Went on Sunday 24th July after 8pm. Staff looked not interested and like they were forced to be there. Tons of flies sitting everywhere!!! Didn't look or feel hygiene at all. I'm not expecting 5 star Michelin restaurant, but this is the only Subway I'd avoid eating from.

Absolutely shocking...we've always used this place as they can cater for the families allergies. But this evening...they messed up the order then refuse to recook our order leaving us with half an order!! We never change our order due to the allergies. So to be told that the chef is declining to cook again because they are too busy and a driver short is not acceptable. Shocking!!!!!
