Service terrible no staff very poor experience

Very poor kfc , is not up to kfc standards

Unfortunately, the food was a disaster. Everything was dripping with grease, the fries were stale.

Not very busy, still had me for 15 minutes, then I had to ask about my order they hadn’t made it, then gave me the wrong order, I only ordered 2 items! Then had the cheek to try and charge me for sauce.

The worst burger (KFC burger stacker) I ever ordered. The worst amount of drink I ever received, which in the chain stores costs .50 pennies... I paid for the burger, fries, and the juice over 8 pounds. And about dcl at its most. While, if you choose Coca-Cola, you get 3 to 5 dcl. Disgrace. Seems like this KFC is all about making money and not a fair service. Never buying anything, from any KFC. Secret chicken recipe, not worth it. Outdated.

Dry bread. Mayo had skinned over, soggy lettuce. Can only assume at busy periods they pre-prepare the burger buns with relish. Pre-poured drinks that go flat. Poor quality Zinger chicken with no flavour or crunch. Won’t bother again. KFC can’t do service station food. Never had a good one.

Taste ok, but cold food and non-carbonated drinks (bottled and left not freshly tapped) Worst KFC I've ever visited!

Very poor. Half cup of cappuccino for extra £0.40. Tiny portions. Filthy screens, rude staff. Paid £14. Would never come back.

I tried to order through KFC apps offer. The guy who serving told me this is not part of KFC and can’t get any offer to used. I show him that this is offer I can get from this KFC but he denied. I asked him politely can I have a word with your manager or supervisor. He said no one here. I am surprised that how many times I used KFC apps offer. I have no choice to pay full price to eat. It is absolutely not acceptable world big company KFC is worst customer service. Highly not recommend at all.

Totally not worth to bother, overcrowded, not enough of staff, huge waiting times, and when I couldn't order stuff I wanted on the screen been asked to wait for someone who will be able to take order in person (apparently not all staff members can take orders lol)😂 Waisted 15min of my life there 😂 Any McDonald's near the motorway would be better.

One of the best services in the M1, relatively recently renovated. Has a microwave (though nominally only for baby food).

The worst experience with KFC till now…. extremely bad service and the order is incomplete

Not woth it , to expensive, to get soggy, burt fries , and the chicken was dry ,burnt and just bones , just angry, ruined my meal , it happened to many times , i give up.

Please continue to driving don't stop here zero skills from customer service the girl in till she mix all my food ill pay for full and she gave to me half off my orders

Worst experience i have ever had in any KFC, the girl at the till mixed up the order .. did not give me the right food but yet sill i had to pay even the manager agreed with her. DONT EAT HERE

I have no idea why I keep trying, it's been years now and it gets worse on each visit. The ordering process is very much self service these days but the screens are usually out of order (or lots are) and they're arranged in a way that creates a mass scrum / slalom course that makes it hard to wait and then hard to collect your food. On the subject of collection expect to wait around 20 minutes only to receive cold food served by people who clearly don't want to be there. To cap it off you're looking at £10 for a box meal with a tiny portion of chips. Drive on, there's better things out there.

Painfully slow, kept doing massive delivery orders whilst everyone standing at the services were just standing waiting

What can I say, the worst fast food I’ve ever eaten. Spent an hour in there only to receive my order without any beans and down a large fries. It didn’t matter because the remaining fries were cold and floppy and mostly inedible. Zinger burger, more like minger burger - luke warm despite the wait. None of the food was fresh. Never going back there or to any other kfc for any reason.

Stopped off twice in last couple of months, gravy box meal has been excellent on both visits. Great chips too.

Zero customer skills from the girl who served my order at 11:50am today. Too busy talking to colleagues about Starbucks/Costa coffee. When my food was ready the bag was pushed on the counter, no “thank you” or smile and turned around to continue above mentioned conversation. KFC - there are millions of people without jobs who will gladly take post at your restaurants with better people skills. One of the worst experiences at KFC

Worst kfc I've ever had, chicken was cold, chips weren't cooked and even my "flat white" coffee was just an Americano. Useless

Keep driving. There are better service stations before and after.

Not great at all, they took forever to serve everyone and they didn't have everything in the order. They prioritise deliveroo over everyone else thats waiting. Plus one of the staff loved to put there fingers in they mouth and then pick up the orders, thank goodness the items are i there own packages at that point, well almost all.

Absolutely AMWFUL. JUST KEEP DRIVING. It is not worth your time, money energy or mental stability. Absolutely awful service. No machines were working, no valid alternatives were offered. Manager acted like he couldn't care less when customers asked to talk to him. No pineapple stickd. I would give them 0/5 but that's not an option so here's a fake 1

Staff working at this KFC appear to have applied to this job advertisement: 'We are looking for young persons with a complete lack of manners and lack of interest in customer service'. The young man who served us on the evening shift on Thursday 9 June made absolutely no eye contact with us and the bare minimal word contact with also. Passive rudeness... please KFC, train your staff.

What an absolute joke. I waited at the tills for over 10 minutes and not a single member of staff tried to even acknowledge me. Either hire more staff and train them better.

Great place get food and drinks

Slowest KFC in the country not enough staff and staff really couldn't be bothered. I'm a lorry driver and stopped here for my 45 minute break but spent 30 minutes waiting for food if I hadn't paid already I would have gone elsewhere.

Hilariously bad. Running out of food and drinks. Card machines not working. Had to wait half an hour.

I didn't realise that KFC had gone down hill so much. The bread was dry and stale, the zinger burger seemed to be thrown together, a bit of browning lettuce with a dot of mayo in the centre, and the chips seemed like a child's portion. Fairly poor for £5.99.

Another KFC with completely ignorant staff and poor stock management. What a joke!

How is it possible that two visits in a row the staff have been so completely useless. They walk around at the slowest pace looking completely dazed by the world around them with no idea. Eat elsewhere as advised last time.

Food as expected and nice and hot. Several self serve machines out of receipt paper this visit.

Worst KFC visited ever. Staff who do the bare minimum - who needs a drinks carrier for 6 drinks?, Want straws for that? Get them yourself. And those sauces you paid 30p a pot for? We'll make sure we give you the wrong ones - get your order wrong and to top it off this location have conveniently disabled mobile ordering to prevent you from using active offers in the app. If you're absolutely desperate for a KFC fix, find another services because this location will ruin your day.

I went for a large filler tower meal. Disappointed to say the least, dry bread, un-fresh lettuce and chicken seasoning was dried out too. The chips saved it from being a one as they were good along with smoky BBQ dip. I liked the watermelon & lime drink too. Not a problem with the wait time, as they were busy at lunchtime..

Stopped off for a KFC on route home. The service was absolutely aweful. There was a young lad packing away the box meals etc.. and was clearly over worked, whilst you had another female employee clearly being workshy and slacking. Overall I was waiting 43 minutes for a Zinger tower box meal and I was 3rd in line. I felt sorry for the young lad as he was receiving customer complaints every two minutes whilst the other employee began to take the absolute pi** prolonging a refund. Then she decided to carry on just looking at receipts and didn't help him once during that 43 minute period. Garbage service, will not be ordering from there again.

Staff very rude and refused to serve me at till stating busy when both stood around doing nothing

After paying £30 to park for the night and expecting to get my tea before I hit the hay for the night after a 15 hour at work I was pretty hungry so to arrive at the counter and to be told he won't serve me they are to busy is disgraceful and when I said about still taking orders off the machines I was then told he can't stop them but he can me shows me how driver's are expected to be treated by the staff of KFC shameful

Absolutely amazing food & service! With the restrictions due to covid & other people being rude and yelling at them unessecarily, even when it's hectic, the cashier was still smiling and doing his best for us. You can tell this KFC goes above and beyond to provide good service!

Unfortunately got the food home to find only half an order. When ordering 2 items - a sharer boneless bucket & 4 piece original chicken meal, you wouldn't think they could forget half the boneless bucket items. Very disappointing as missing items were needed.

there is no option top leave 0 stars, i visited KFC m1 southbound @ Newport pagnell before xmas and left there with their special "festive burger meal" Special it was!, it gave me very severe food poisoning that lasted 5 days! BEWARE of their hygiene and safety standards as they clearly have none. After contacting and complaining to KFC head office during my recovery time they sent a £15 voucher. what an absolute joke as had to have time off work to recover,staff should not handle food with their hands,clearly their storage and cooking of food is not up to standard a customer would expect

Chicken is chicken BUT this chicken was good! My only complaint really is the woman on the till got my order incorrect due to the language barrier but thats no major issue! Thank you KFP! Kentucky Fried Pigeon, because be honest when did you last see a chicken this small out of an egg???

Worst KFC ever! Its not fast food service, its more like in slow motion zone there. They are super super slow! There is no working attitude in non of the staff members. Fast or slow service we get paid anyway..!! Attitude. They told me the order was going to be ready in 2mins, 20mins ago.

Was served "BURNT" chicken & upon complaining to their manager was offered little of an apology or recourse & a mere replacement of the piece which turned out to be soggy & dripping in oil.. Eeewww yuck!!! I now remember why I don't eat KFC...

Poor service, unfriendly staff and very rude. No customer service, machines not working waited 30 min to be served. Refused card payment even card machine was working. Just utterly poor overall. Won't ever go here again.

The service was very busy and the staff were clearly stressed out. Regardless of all the issues the staff were absolute stars. I felt my heart go out to the poor guys! They were doing all they could and the last thing they needed were angry unhelpful customers! I watched one gentleman slam down a packet of chips exclaiming they were cold in front of lots of customers and they guy behind the counter was so polite, apologised and gave the ungrateful person extra chips with the apology. There were a few shortages and so the staff offered alternatives at the counter and we were happy with the service. I can only apologise for the rest of humanity which have no consideration for the workers at this place! Top notch guys! You did KFC proud! Visited March 29th 2018 21:30

I was served by the lady on 07/03/2018 around 4 Pm, she was surly not happy with the job she was doing, felt unwelcome, wasn't impressed with quality of food.....

the staff all.came from the back of the to perve over a young lady in the queue making it very obvious wat they were doing . I asked for 2x now bites and a hot choc to which the not on the till said we dont do them in a couldn't care less manner .I said pardon he repeated it . said they don't serve hot drinks here . the bites sign was stood right by me and nothing to say they were out of stock and as for not serving me a hot drink it's the worst kfc I've ever been to and it's a disgrace to all your other very good stores... avoid at all costs

If I could give no stars I assure you I would. I have never been dealt with like I was dealt with at this awful KFC service stop. The food was overcooked and horrible. I politely asked if they would change the food. The trainee looked at me blankly and fetched his manager. The manager arrives and questions me why I want to change the food. I explain why and he then says well no one else has complained about this particular meal. I then said I don't want to argue would he mind changing it but he started becoming aggressive. I then asked for a full refund to which he replied we don't do refunds! I was in complete shock and said trading standards says otherwise. He said he wouldn't refund me. I then phoned welcome break head office and was directed to a very kind staff member to asked the manager to refund me in full. He was angry that he had to but then handed over the money. I would avoid this place like the plaque. I am currently in complaints proceedings with KFC head office as this type of thing can't happen to consumers. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Worst KFC. Very slow service. All the fries were stone cold. They forgot one of the drinks. No salt in the takeaway bag. The kid didn't get a desert with their kids meal.

The overall counter is shockingly bad, the staff have no desire to clean and instead seem to wait until somebody else comes along.

We called in here last Friday 4.20 as we were diverted from M6. My husband went here to get us something to eat as we'd been driving for 6 hrs. The young man who served him was polite and helped him decide what we could eat. Unfortunately we didn't get his name. Lovely friendly service. This was in sharp contrast to the frosty faced, unhelpful women I encountered at Starbucks. I have advised Starbucks that they should take a note out of KFC's training book and use their existing staff to empty bins. We'll be back KFC. Keep up the good work.

Stupid people, they are based on services in Leicester, never mentioned their closing Time anywhere people stop on services after seeing kfc sign on , when they go inside their rude staff tell everyone that they are closed ... put ur freaking **!road sign off on motorway if u are closed ,,, unprofessional n rude staff ... not recommended.

Mal servicio, personal grosero. Este establecimiento es simplemente terrible. Se trata de una cicatriz en el paisaje de Kentucky Fried Chicken. Stopped here for a break on my way from London to Derbyshire the food was just as good as all high street branches of kfc as was the service and cleanliness of the restaurant

Soggy chicken and rude staff. I actually felt slightly ill afterwards.

Uninterested, forgetful and unhelpful. Sullen and mumbled greeting and service. The only thing right with the food was the prepacked sides (when we finally got them) which don't require on-site prep - the rest was soggy and limp. Standard accoutrements - spork for sides, salt, napkins, advertised dips - were missing and not offered at the counter. When going back to get the missing items the 2 female front of house staff were busy chatting to a male friend, with zero regard for the 3 customers queuing to be served. I had to butt in to get acknowledged. The duty manager, who was wandering around nearby, didn't seem bothered about resolving any of the blatant problems with the presentation of his store, just complained to another colleague the customers were queuing wrong. I regret not going to the Burger King right next door, or getting a sandwich from Waitrose downstairs.
