Miller & Carter Enderby in Blaby

Went this eve and wasn't impressed overall. Friendly waitress food ok but not amazing fries were dried up and lettuce dish had a lot of brown leaves service slow .had been previously and gave 5 stars but generally didn't feel it this eve and £100 for 2 people I would expect much better

The staff were excellent the food was outstanding everything was spot on there was nine of us and they served us all together will definitely go again .

Tasty tender rump steak. Wedge of iceberg lettuce with vinaigrette not so good. Since changing name to Miller and Carter from foxhunter prices have doubled!

If you're Jewish, i would give this place a miss. Unless you feel comfortable hiding your identity. I visited with a friend (30/04) and was wearing my star of david necklace and religious head-ware. The hostess (who i believe is the manager) initially saw us, walked off and left us waiting. (The place was empty). She then came back and told me to remove my “hat”. She advised it was formal dress code and it was clearly sign posted at the entrance. (Which when we left we looked and couldn't see anything about a dress code) I explained I've dined before and i was not asked to remove it. She snuffed and said well you should have. She then went onto say that as there were a few bookings that night she wouldn't want other people to see me wearing my “hat”??? In the end I wasn’t comfortable and as such, we left. This new manager is awful. Avoid

Made to feel a nuisance because we hadn’t booked told to sit away from the dining area and wait 5 minutes while they sorted something out,couldn’t get a drink because not enough staff ,there were plenty of empty tables.At this point we left .Have been plenty of times before this and had always been made to feel welcome,it will however be a very long time if at all before I think of returning

Shocking service on arrival Told could not seated till all of our party turned up and needed to pay for drinks separately until we were seated Staff serving even told us that our chose of stake was wrong. And we shouldn’t have it cooked to how we wanted Cooked well done. Table small fo five people and we watch them drop at least 3 different meals Food was not that good either over priced food and drinks Would never go back

Went for my birthday meal Saturday night. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. As soon as we walked through the door. Anna, our server was amazing. Lucas, Anna, and Charlotte bought out our sweet and even sang me happy birthday. Great job by all the staff for making it a special evening.

The food was delicious. We had the very affordable lunch meal, main with a mini desert and coffee which was lovely. The service was professional, friendly and seen to go the extra mile physically sprinting after a lady getting into her car after leaving her handbag on the chair. Will definitely recommend and return.

From the moment we were seated she was nothing but helpful especially as we have a very picky friend! Her suggestions and advice were appreciated! I can’t stop thinking about the Mac n cheese!! Fantastic scallop starter with bacon an apple puree. Perfect steaks with onion bread,lettuce wedge with blue cheese, 50 day aged steak cooked to perfection with bone marrow sauce and side of green VEG and grilled tom. Service was fantastic. Thank you for making my husbands 65th birthday great.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our waitress was Charlotte who couldn't have been more smiley and professional. The grub was hot and reasonably priced. HOWEVER, the intrusive muzak was diabolical, especially 'vocals'. Please, please, Messrs Miller & Carter, could it be replaced by soft piano or guitar music?

Great food great service from Lucas He made it really special for the two kids birthdays. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the children really enjoyed their food. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Had a lovely meal on Sunday afternoon. Our server Judith was friendly and upbeat. My husband and mother in law both have severe food allergies and she was very helpful and made them both feel comfortable while ordering.

Great night for my mothers 81st birthday Abi was a perfect person to look after us, thank you for making our night so special.

Usually good and we’ve been many times before. Service this time was the worst that we’ve ever had. Slow and just not caring about us at all. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks twice and ended up going there to pay the bill too because the waitress couldn’t be bothered to do it. Bar staff were amazing and very helpful.

Food expensive steak very fatty Too much sauce on small amount of lettuce. Avocado over ripe on starter. Hallumi fries vert thin and over cooked. Not very good value for money.

Lovely restaurant really impressed with the whole experience. We did come at a really quite time so it maybe different when it's busy. Would definitely go back again.

The moral here is speak to the Manager BEFORE you pay if you are not satisfied. Came as a family of 6 for our Son’s birthday. He ordered butchers block £75 for 2. Plates came dirty-sent back, food arrived with more dirty plates. Sent plates back again. At least 8 mins later, more clean plates arrived, now food was cold. Appalling. Disgusting. Bill was nearly £150 no offer of apology or reduction. Certainly deserves this reaction from an annoyed parent from Portugal 🤬

Everything was great, except that the steaks were not British and had come from south America, how can a company justifiably import beef from country's experiencing deforestation contributing to global warming when we have the capability to raise grass Fed beef in the uk, reducing carbon emissions and supporting British farming. Also the quality will only improve as British beef is far better produced than south America

Unfortunately after revisiting miller and carter I was left unimpressed the staff were incredibly good as always but the food was a let down in comparison to my last visit a lot of it tasted so bad that not even alcohol removed the taste. will not be attending this establishment ever again

Wow! The service here is amazing and the staff are very kind hearted and patient. They were also very accommodating and understanding of us having our 91 year old grandma. The food is incredible and the steak was just so good. Big shout out to our server Amanda and also to Cherylin and Shan. Thank you for helping us have a great evening.

Shan and Cherylin were really helpful putting a table together for us! They were lovely and made our night possible. The atmosphere is nice and decor is wonderful. Sat by the fire for a pint with the rest of the family and had some lovely food!!
