Papa Johns Pizza in Blaby

My grandson said it was very nice pizza

Really disappointed with our pizza tonight. Hardly any cheese on both pizzas. The Hawaiian had hardly any toppings on.

Probably the worst pizza I’ve had in over 10 years. Delivered about an hour and a half after ordering and was it was cold when it arrived. Barely any toppings, hardly any cheese to be seen and it was so dry we couldn’t eat more than a couple of slices. Literally order from anywhere else for better quality.

do not order online for pizza from here we waited over anhour with us calling them and they told us it's on way 2 hrs later still not arrived no sorry after talking to them again they said we will re send a full refund would of been correct

We have reached the end of our tether with Papa John's. Previously orders have been late and cold, times were we have chased the local shop they have been downright rude and abrupt. Today being the final straw when ordering a pizza online and finding out payment has been taken payment and no order sent. After speaking to the store they say they are unwilling to help and told us to speak to customer service. Who aren't available until next week. Two hours late and no way to contact anyone for a refund or resolve the issue, this is wholly unacceptable. My advice to anyone is avoid like the plague and use Domino's or Flames in Whetstone.

Really enjoy the selection of pizza toppings and as long as you’re nice to the staff (and this applies to anywhere else as well), they provide excellent and friendly service. Was not a regular diner at Papa Johns until I started ordering from the Blaby branch - I am a very satisfied customer.

1st time and I've ended up getting a pizza I did not really want because the half and half is not actually half and half, it only applies to a particular set of toppings. We tried several combinations and they could not do it.

Wouldn’t usually leave a review like this however the last 2 experiences with the Blaby location has been awful. A couple of months ago an order placed took 1 hour 30 minutes to finally arrive after 3 phone calls to chase up, being given a different answer each time as to the delay. On the final call they admitted the pizza had never been made even though the app had been saying out for delivery for over an hour. We decided to try again with an order this evening and yet again over an hour after placing the order and the app saying it was out for delivery, we got a phone call to say the oven is broken. Can only assume yet another made up story to tell customers who have waited beyond a reasonable time. Our order was cancelled and certainly won’t be given them another chance now and would advise others to avoid as well.

Wouldn't normally complain about a takeaway because its quick and easy food, but this has happened every single time with our last 3 orders. It said it was out for delivery for nearly an hour and the food was cold upon arrival. The pizza and potato bites were uncooked and the dough was still dough instead of pizza. I cooked the pizza and sides in the oven for about 10 mins before it was properly cooked. Me and my partner both were sick after our latest order, pretty much a couple of hours after eating. Will not be using this Papa John's again.

I ordered papa johns pizza , tastes very nice, very efficient fast service and when I went to pick up the store members were very pleasant.

Ordered on-line, order status didn’t change from preparing so after an hour and a half I rang the branch. Phone was answered by a simple ‘hello’ no mention of Papa Johns, I explained I had been waiting for the status update on my order , then to be asked for my postcode three times (I was collecting so postcode irrelevant). I was told my order was ready and the store hadn’t notified me as they were busy - no apology given. Drove to the store to collect the two pizzas, no apology and pizzas stone cold. Will not be using Papa Johns again.

Has a delivery time of 17:20-17:40 still has yet to arrive after calling dominoes they said they had left and would be 10 minutes yet still hasn’t come. Was only 2 pizzas so don’t understand how it takes so long when we are two villages over.

Hello, I would like to make a complaint about an order I placed for delivery from your Blaby branch to the address below on Friday 6th October. I ordered 1 x Go Solo for £17.99 plus £2.49 delivery online at 19:04. I phoned at 20:35, 20:38 and 21:06 to chase the order and I have screenshots showing evidence of these times. The order eventually arrived over 2 hours late at 21:14, completely cold and with no apology from the driver. This was supposed to be a treat for my children but it ruined the evening. It is unacceptable service and I would like to request a refund and compensation for my time please. Kind regards,

Food was ok - cookie was a solid though! Not overly cheap, but all in all a successful order.

Worst pizza I've ever had, no taste at all so bland. Make a better pizza myself, I just go to dominos for the same price.

we had a offer which gives free garlic bread pizza and the man claimed for it to be a scam as he wont get commission from it i am very disappointed from this store and for those who want to go here i do not recommend this shop

The four cheese pizza with pesto is good but the cheeses do not stand out, no blue cheese is included, pesto tastes strong and good here.

Past two times I’ve ordered I’ve been given the wrong drink pizza is great though

Ordered on the App for delivery XXL Half & Half pizza took less than 30 min from time of order to be delivered Pizza tasted great (not a fan of Garlic Dip)

Food was Luke warm and pizza dough was chewy and stale. For those prices even at 50% discount I frankly expected better.

I've had half decent pizzas from here but they're massively overpriced. They've just incorrectly given me a steak papadia (for a vegetarian), the jalapeno bites were foul and the vegan nugget things were basically inedible in flavour. I'll probably be going dominos down the road from now on.

So I ordered this tonight and honestly wish I hadn’t wasted my money. We ordered 3 pizzas they were lukewarm, and the delivery driver forgot the drink. After ringing up twice first time straight away and being told it was on its way, we are still waiting. The staff on the other end of the phone say what you want to hear, but it’s just lip service, definitely won’t go there again.

The only thing I can fault was the cauliflower wings were not cooked enough and a little tough in the middle and there was no Buffalo sauce to go with them. The pizza was excellent as usual

Pizza is pizza really - the only issues I had was that I added extra sweetcorn onto my vegetable pizza and it came with a small sprinkle whereas the extra corn at dominos is a lot more by comparison and charging £1 + for something they didn’t add seems really ridiculous to me. The pizza overall was alright, tomatoes were the main flavour but the sauce had a sort of watery texture to it, like if you were to add a dash of water to a sauce bottle to make it last a little longer if you get what I mean? The order came very quickly which was nice and the sizes are good.

Pizza was one of the worst take away pizzas I have ever paid for. Customer service was also on par with how bad the pizza was.

I would give zero stars if possible if you want burnt, cold pizza with no toppings on and no flips given when you call to complain this is the pizza place for you. Go to Dominos instead they are in a different league in the fact they can actually make and deliver pizza. What they sent to my house is just shocking cheese and onion on a burnt base with no sauce or toppings.

Had the voucher that came in the post. Went for 2 larges, £16.95 total, large peperoni and a meat feast. Both were absolutely tasteless and extremely salty, not too sure about the bases, they we kinda whole meal flour. Ended up in the bin, never again.

I thought I'd give it a go, so ordered for collection the large thin crust American hot. When I got home i opened it to find a burnt pizza so I called them and they said oh just come back and we'll replace it!!! Hmm I said no you will deliver me one so reluctantly they agreed. The replacement wasn't much better so i won't be using them again.!!!

The deals are on par with domino's and its not as stoggy on the dough The cons - toppings are ridiculous small amount, the sauce isn't pleasent and the side order of potatoes was burnt with a flame thrower Stick to dominos

Awful pizza! Decided to try it out as they’ve recently opened. The food was dry, really lacked any flavour at all and was warm at best. Ordered sides of the hash brown bites and they were just soggy as if they’ve been undercooked from frozen. Better and cheaper pizza can be found locally.

You know when you buy a pack of fresh cobs and they are rock hard the next day….that’s what this pizza was like. Sorry to say the pizza was dry, flavourless and not very nice.The base was very dark and overdone. The crust was wide, dry, tough to chew and flavourless whilst the pizza middle was really thin. The garlic dip tastes horrible, it was a yellow colour and tasted like melted butter. I was so disappointed as I really was expecting a really nice pizza. The staff are lovely though. There is a review on here with a photo of a pizza that looks nothing like what we received.

Have just had a pizza fom there, Nice and hot and tasty. But the accompanying garlic sauce was vile. It didn't taste of garlic, was a yellow cream consistency, tasted horrid and got binned, Unfortunately I had poured some over 2 slices so lost those. Just check first!

My first ever Papa John's. The opening 7.99 collection deal is very good value. I had thin crust, half/half, The Works/The Garden Party. Service was fast and friendly, ready in 15 mins. The pizza was fresh and light, i didn't feel bloated or too full afterwards. reminded me of the fresh deli type from supermarket. The garden party half was a bit bland, the works half won on flavour! The pot of garlic sauce I didn't like much, the Italian sausage meat shaped like dog biscuits 😒 a little off-putting. Overall I enjoyed it and didn't leave anything except a few dog biscuits. I wouldn't pay the full price. This is a new branch only just opened in Blaby, there's a 1* review below left before the store had even opened, reviewer must have made a mistake.

Lovely staff, really quick and food was great

Disgusting I mean even my uncle who loves papa John's hates this place more than I do. They burnt the pizza and we've visited around 3 times now. We're not going again, will go to Domino's as imo its better
