Sydenham subway asked for a box to transport sandwich. Told only for online deliveries not instore paying customers. Do better subway poor customer service

What an awful place. Filthy dirty. Staff bark at you, rather than asking questions or instructions on how things are to be prepared. Food is thrown tohgethrr and almost impossible to be eaten. No choices offered… Older man called Duapal just downright rude.

We were staying in a nearby Paddington hotel. One night after a busy day of hectic tourist activities we just wanted to purchase a quick, light casual meal and take it back to enjoy in our hotel room. Consequently, we made our way to this nearby Subway outlet located on Praed Street. It was early in the evening and there were only a couple of other customers waiting to be served. Immediately, we were somewhat taken aback by the rude and abrupt manner in which the shop assistant spoke to the customer being served before us. When it was our turn to be served, he was not quite as abrupt with us but he certainly was not polite or particularly helpful. When we nominated the type of bread roll that we wanted, we were informed that there were only plain white rolls left. Obviously they hadn’t prepared sufficient stocks for the evening trade. We also ordered soft drinks and with a flick of the head, the shop assistant communicated that we should serve ourselves at the soda fountain. After our rolls were prepared and served and we had poured our own drinks and paid for our purchases, we made our way out of the store. On the way out, we noted that the store was not particularly clean. This made us a little dubious about the quality of the food items we had purchased. When we arrived back at our hotel, we consumed the filled rolls without any adverse consequences. We had certainly enjoyed better rolls from Subway outlets elsewhere. The poor customer service experienced in the store and the grubby appearance of the premises meant that we did not bother returning there, to purchase another casual meal. There are plenty of better alternatives around Paddington.

Llama la atención que mientras te hacen tu pedido o cuando consigues mesa antes de pedir puedes coger todos los cacahuetes que quieras para picotear antes de comer. Sirven bastante rápido y la comida está muy buena. Precio asequible y todo muy limpio.

Es un local de comida que se especializa en sandwiches. Podés elegir el pan y el relleno. Luego podes agregarle vegetales frescos, entre los cuales hay tomate, rechuga, cebolla, pickles, morrones, aceitunas, etc. Todo muy rico y fresco. Mi preferido es el pan italiano de queso y hierbas, de atún. Económico, que es algo que no abunda en Londres.
