Subway in Glasgow City

The portion sizes for the waffle fries was shcoking, about 4 fries in each package, same amount for large as regular. Apart from that everything was fine

Great place for lunch! Unfortunately, they no longer offer the Sub of the Day, which used to be a great bargain, but the food is still fresh and tasty. The best part? It’s fully halal, making it a great option for a quick and convenient meal. Plenty of choices, from classic subs to salads, and the service is always friendly. If you’re looking for a halal Subway in Glasgow, the Herriet Street branch is a solid choice!

Inadequate pest control with flies inside. Last time I came in there was a dead fly in the chicken tikka tub was assured it would be replaced but still disgusting that it had happened/wasn't noticed before.

Heavily Understaffed and I found multiple hairs in my sandwich

Staff are friendly and shop is very clean, but this is the second time I've ordered on the app for collection with mistakes. The first time there was a six inch in the bag instead of the footlong I'd paid for. And today, all three subs were made on cheese and herb bread instead of plain, and the veggie subs came toasted even though this wasn't requested. Very disappointing when staff don't respect the order placed. We're hardly going to unwrap each sub to check the spec whilst stood at the counter. Don't use the app. You have to go in and watch the staff prepare the food. They don't really care about their customers or repeat business as I'll not go back now.

Nice food and staff was friendly

Absolutely awful experience. I ordered two foot long sandwichs, carefully unchecked certain ingredients, and made sure my instructions were clear. But guess what? They ignored everything. They stuffed it with vegetables I specifically didn’t want—as if they were trying to get rid of leftovers. And the worst part? There was barely any meat. Just a few miserable chunks lost in a mountain of unwanted greens. When I opened the wrap, vegetables were spilling everywhere, a complete mess. It was sloppy, careless, and honestly disgusting. This place has zero attention to detail and no respect for customers. If they can’t even follow simple instructions, why are they in business? Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually cares. NEVER AGAIN.

I ordered the other day, a ham and pepperoni sub, and they gave me a chicken sub instead I requested a refund and still havnt got my money back yet? I didn’t get the food that i ordered!!

Entire order cold on arrival. Waffle fries were just cold congealed potato mush. One sandwich had been cut in half, the other not. Its as if no care at all was taken with the order. Subway is not cheap, it should be good quality.

Pure disgraceful. Went in to order 8 subs and the staff waiting until the last minute to say we are out of lettuce despite it being in the display and then had the cheek to say its for deliveries only. Also scanned my rewards card and it should have been 30% off which i didnt get. Not the first bad experience here seems to get worst every time i visit. Gone down hill big time and would recommend you dont waste your time there. Prices have had a hike and you would be better of going anywhere else but here!!

Ordered at the actual location, very poor amount of salad but heavy on lettuce. My main problem is my 30% off any sub was removed by the server as I saw £4.09 as the total after it was scanned and ended up paying £6.19. very deceptive

Food came cold and not what i asked for, ordered at 1:15 and food never came until 3pm delivery time kept on changing. Really unhappy

Delivered really quickly, meatballs subs were still really hot. No errors with order.

Placed an app order picked it up, drove home, the worker put the bricks sorry I mean the milk chocolate cookies (x3) right at the bottom of the bag so I wouldn’t realise how hard & stale they were until I emptied the bag out fully Was so annoyed, my fault for ordering 30 mins after they opened these cookies must have been yesterday’s leftovers not in a million years they were fresh, This subway was the real deal but I think it’s changed hands now, new staff poor service & standards have clearly dropped avoid this place

On 23/04/2023, I visited here approximately 5 minutes before the official closing time. Despite the fact that there was still ample time to place an order, I was abruptly informed by the staff that they were closed and refused to serve me. I found this response to be both unreasonable and disrespectful. As a customer, I understand the importance of adhering to business hours and respecting the staff's time. However, I believe it is equally important for establishments to prioritize customer service and accommodate reasonable requests, especially when the closing time is still a few minutes away. The refusal to serve me, coupled with the dismissive attitude of the staff, left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer. Such treatment undermines the positive experiences I have come to expect from Subway, and it reflects poorly on the reputation of your brand. I strongly urge you to address this matter with the utmost urgency. It is imperative to reinforce the importance of providing courteous and accommodating service to customers, even during the final moments before closing time. This incident not only tarnishes the reputation of the specific location but also has a negative impact on the overall Subway brand image.

Absolute worst subway in the history of subways

the meatballs sandwich was Disgusting and meatballs were old as they were rock solid like stone. Iteams were missing from meal deal. Drink and cookies.

I thought the first mess up a few months ago was a one off... so where to start. 2 footlong subs ordered, wrong bread, toppings mixed up on both, sauce mixed up on both and no cheese on either. Even though one of them was steak and cheese. Call the shop to be hung up on. This the worst subway in Glasgow hands down. Thankfully just eat refunded me, we also drove past to see if it was because they are busy. Nope, just staff horsing around. Mobile phones seem more important to be on than providing a service.

The staff member who served me looked half asleep. I asked for certain toppings on my footlong sub. She put three bits of pepper and 3 bits of onion on it - a footlong. Then when I asked for sauce I specifically said a little touch of sauce. She drowned the sub in the sauce to where it was pouring out the sides. I think I will go to another subway from now on.

Clean Place. The food is nice. What's not to like!

This particular subway store is on the small side but has halal options available in it which can be handy for many people. Good public transport links and on street parking is available for people that are driving to the Subway. Friendly and attentive staff too.

Staff were really helpful and sorted out our meals and hot drinks. Will be using again. This time I'll know which bread to go for !!

The salsa has now changed and it is disquisting I will now not go back there for nachos until they change the salsa as it was before the one they have right now is sooo chunky

It's okay but feel that some of the staff are really tight with portions. It's like nearly £8 for one sub and then put 3 cucumbers on it and count the pieces of lettuce lol what the hell

Very rude staff. First Lady told me to show my student ID, for which I left the store and came back to provide. After I provided my ID, went through with my order and again arrived at the tills when a man told me to show my ID again? If a person looks young, chances are they are probably a student.

Went with the meal deal, never had the bread i wanted, never had cookies which was part of the meal, would NOT recommend at all!!

Not up to scratch compared to other subways I've been to. A certain member of staff tries to make the sub WAY too fast, even when there are no customers in the queue. this just makes the sub look messy and also ruins the consistency of the meat to salad ratio. It makes more sense to simply take your time when preparing food.

A great place to grab a quick bite to eat. They have a great variety of sandwiches to choose from and a selection of great meat. This place is Halal too which is great as there aren't many halal subways around town. Overall a great place to have lunch in

Food was ok but no bacon or ham. Just a turkey ham substitute. Understandable because of the neighbourhood it's in ( just up from a mosk). But would still expect the option to be available. As plenty of non Muslims live in and around the area. Guess they don't count anymore though. Quite sad.
