Subway in Cambridge

I can honestly say that I've been to many subways, over the years and across different continents, and this has to be my favourite. The staff behind the counter go above and beyond, they take their commitment to sandwich artists to another level and take their time to know you as a person as well as a customer. I love it every time I go back and they remember my face, it's like coming home!

If you fancy uncooked pigs in blankets, head on down to this subway branch!!

Me and my boyfriend got a footlong sub each. They both had italian herb baguettes, nacho cheese, lettuce, olives and sweet chilli sauce! We ended up spending less than £15 overall. I loved the subs! Definitely recommend

Order a flaming got nachos, first the quantity of nachos were very less than usual and Doritos were completely stale. Please do not serve stale food to your customers. This is not subway's standard.

The quantity of food they provided when we ordered hot nachos was minuscule, it filled less than half the box. We have ordered these nachos previously multiple times and are well aware of the standard amount they provide, however I was appalled that we were being charged £2.49 for less than half the product we asked for. When I brought this up with the worker who served me they didn't care and brushed my complaint off. It was as if they didn't know how to prepare the nachos, he haphazardly poured the sauce to the side of the nachos when normally it would be poured on top. I would expect better customer service from a place that is situated in the centre of Cambridge which is so popular.

Think twice before you pay because the staff will take any opportunity to con you when you move away from the set prices of meal deals.

I ONLY EVER ORDER ONE TYPE OF SUB WHENEVER I AM IN SUBWAY AND THIS CHAIN HAS DELIVERED AS A SUBWAY CHAIN SHOULD. NOT MUCH ELSE TO SAY ON THAT FRONT.

1st subway ever it was nice but i wont be having one every day

I ordered a chicken tikka salad bowl and got a salad bowl without the chicken and the mozzarella + cheddar cheese topping. When I called the person who picked up the phone said i didn't assemble this my colleague did and she forgot to put the chicken in a chicken salad so it's not my responsibility, and disconnected the phone! Bunch of unprofessional irresponsible people!

No seasoning when asked for it and I ordered 9 pieces of chicken and only got 7 plus sub not cut at all very poor service

I usually have something quick for lunch but today I noticed flies on the salads and meat.

Absolutely awful that the branch manager would put only one person working flat out at lunch time on a Saturday she has literally been hung out to dry! It took an age to get served but at no fault of the server she was awesome it’s the management that are at fault!

Normally enjoy a subway as a treat but this 1 was a let down the bread had funny taste & had 2 tell the lady 4 times wot salad I wanted which was wrong when got home to eat it & not a clue wot the sauce was asked 4 mayo n barbecue sauce that was not barbecue so ended up in the rubbish bin horrible taste

I feel the owner of this franchisee should STRONGLY consider who he hires. Attitude and poor work ethic. I ordered a meatball marinara and to be honest the way the 'sandwich artist' slapped it together as fast as possible no care was disgraceful. I feel appropriate attention should be given to the customers to help promote the aims of the business. I Regularly attend subways all over UK and some staff are fantastic others have manners and ways of working which aren't in any way similar to other subway practices. Poor, Poor, Poor!!!!

Since finding out the truth about the cruelty Subway inflicts on the chickens in their supply chain, I don't want to shop here anymore. I hope they'll sign up to the better chicken commitment in the future, then I'll consider becoming a customer again

It was a very much fun evening, kids enjoyed their meals especially our little 3 years old girl. She ate all her cheese and ham half long and drunk fruitshoot

Staff member completely ignored my presence and continued to serve my friend next to me who was behind me. Not happy and the company should re think who they employ. Lost a customer.

Quality food but the staff that served me whilst I was paying was absolutely horrible and I was disgusted

My son loves a subway and for some reason he saif that this one did the best Ham and cheese sub! I think it has to do with the way they toast it..probably don't overcook it! anyway, its an ok subway but has linited seating and is often a bit messy on the tables. Given it 4 stars due to my son saying it's great, otherwise i would probably only have given it a 3!

Just had a coffee lady not really helpful asked for brown sugar was informed that they do not do brown sugar strange. Had all the outdoor chairs and tables just thrown in not tidy at all and no stirrers. Will not be back poor really :(

Ordered a subway today to be delivered by JustEat. Whoever made my sub today was obviously in a mood as there was zero cheese and very little bacon! I’ve ordered from here in person before and had no problems I guess when it’s a delivery they don’t care!! Oh and the cookie was rock solid!

It's Subway not much to say but it is just as consistently good as other places and the staff are very nice and generous

A little pricey for a sandwich but the staff are usually pleasant enough

This is a small subway at Cambridge Leisure park, even though its small its not really well stocked with product empty on the selves. The food is the same as all the Subways around the world. A healthier choice than other fast food joints (if you want it to be.) Good value for money and dont forget to use your subway card. if you are coming by car get it stamped in the bowling arcade for cheaper parking in the nearby car park.

The meatballs fresh and hot however the tables and floor messy eventhough the branch was customer empty.

Love it. I don't go here very often but every time I've been it has been good and quick and clean. The last time I went about a week ago the lady serving was amazingly friendly and helpful and just the best. And the other lady who was there didn't serve me but a young boy near us spilt his drink and she was very nice about it and just quickly came and clear it up and made sure the boy didn't feel bad.

Terrible service. Disinterested, bored staff who have trouble speaking English (which is fine until it impacts service) and seem to view customers as a pain. In addition to the poor service, looks like they rarely serve coffee. Took several attempts to get a coffee and a coffee cover. Once they understood, they forgot to attach the lid it to the cup, so it fell down when moved... And of course, the containers where the sweeter/sugar were supposed to be were empty so had to ask and got shown a bowl of crumpled white sugar packets from under the counter. Supposedly that was all they had... Been to many subways around the UK and this was one of the worst.

This was my first visit to a subway . But it was great food fabulous service even though there was only one girl serving. The one problem was there was no light in the customer toilet and no window either,therefore I had a good laugh trying to use it .

Hard to communicate with staff with low levels of English, quite often out of popular options, but fairly cheap for a tasty sandwich.

Worst subway I have ever been to. Ordered a steak salad and not much salad in it.

Had a ham salad bowl and coke! I must say the salad was rather filling and left a small bit of it, as I struggled to finish it off! My wife had a chicken salad and thoroughly enjoyed her meal! Definitely value for money, but the only thing missing was a bit of coleslaw!

I use this Subway regularly and you know what you are going to get. Staff are friendly and hard working. Meals are your standard Subway meals. Always pop here for lunch when I am working on a Sunday nearby.

Shocking performance mixing up orders and a long wait for a cold sandwich and nachos with with a side dollop of salsa! Who even does that?!

Worst subway I've ever been to! Didnt toast my sub like I asked, nearly got our order mixed up with the persons in front and had to wait ages for them to realise this, even after me and the gentleman in front repeatedly told them... Ruined my nachos by putting the salsa in a small dollop to the side rather than on top!? I mean really!? So if you fancy a cold possibly wrong subway with dry nachos and a huge queue time, this is the place to go!

I went to this charming eatery roughly 10 months ago. I wore my top hat, my frock coat and my comfortable pantaloons with a bit of wind up the old todger but not enough wind that upset my beans, and wind moving through my massive moustache with pride you wouldn't believe. Knowing Subway was one of the most finest, best restaurants in the area and feeling privileged I could afford such great food, I proudly pushed aside the front doors of restaurant elegantly, casually stepped in the restaurant with extraordinary pride and wearing my finest clothes.

Love the place. I particularly like their italian bmt on hearty italian or italian herbs and cheese. They offer a great selection for most people and the service is generally quite fast. The hygiene standards also seems quite which is nice to see. Great food and the service is as expected. Thanks Subway.

Visited the Subway on Saturday with my family after a cinema trip. Whilst the store was very busy everything looked very clean & tidy. We were quickly served, the member of staff was very friendly & gave us time to choose what we wanted. The Choice of salads & meats all looked inviting & very fresh. Our subs were delicious & we will most definitely be returning to this store again.

RUDE OLD MAN, treats customer with aggressive attitude, he is of course no better than the salad lady, absolute filth in the kitchen, I would rather chew my own shoes rather than stepping in that place again. Please bear in mind, the place is situated in an area with offices, so people are going their midday lunch, which means these customers are tired and hungry, therefore they do not need this attitude.

Overpriced not fresh at all the bread was so hard it looked like it was old bread total waste of money I would not recommend there is a Tesco not far from it and the sandwiches are much better at tesco and allot cheaper

The old man is aggressive and rude, especially when he encounters foreign customers. I had a terrible experience there, and it messed up my holiday in Cambridge.

Subway were not taking card payments, cash only. Not happy. Food was fine, the usual.

Completamos nuestro pedido y fuimos a sentarnos en un área no muy limpia, considerando que estaba en silencio; De alguna forma, el otro cliente logró obtener su comida gratis. Half star rip off. Breakfast deal if we can call it a "deal" : u get bread and bacon then: cheese 30p extra, salads 30p extra, coffe 50p extra. Is it a "deal" ? Doubt it. Most of subways all this included in "breakfast deal" price. But not in this one. Must be some kind "special" subway. Rip off.

You'll have your sandwich begrudgingly put together. You'll have to ask if you'd like your filling up to the edges of the bread. Don't ecen think about ordering more than 2 items of salad. Also make sure you are have nothing scheduled in for the next week. As food poisoning is guaranteed.

Told to shut up and swore at me and my friends for having a conversation that he deemed to loud VERY VERY aggressive and threatening and was shouting in my face felt very uncomfortable,e and will never step foot in that subway again. Aggressive to the point he was 2 cm away from my face asking what my problem was as soon as people had left and we were the only ones there because apparently having a conversation was not on... DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE DONT GO Very threatening and nasty, especially if you are a school girl don't go as they are very disrespectful and belittling.

Tres veces que me vendieron una copa Coca Cola - Dieta como el agua (no he comprobado lo fue dentro de una taza). Cuando fui de nuevo les dije sobre ello y lo facturado dentro de campo de agua. Compré un sándwich y una Coca-Cola Light (no quería usar azúcar) y me dijo que tenia que pagar £0.30 extra por beber agua embotellada. Me negué porque yo tenía conmigo sólo £(pausa para el almuerzo, así que...) 3 para una comida Me solicitaron PARA DEVOLVER EL BOCADILLO!!!!

This is easily the best subway I've been to its certainly the best in Cambridge even at peak times it rarely take more than 5 minutes to do a order with multiple sandwiches This subway is the only subway I've been to with a working toaster as the sandwich I order there says hot till I get home great service and great staff
