I can't recommend this place. Everything tasted stale. The chips were statle and tasteless, and the kebab itself was similarly bad.

Open late at night.... Chicken tasted like it had been cooked and left in the warmer for 8 hrs... The chips were ok but tasted like they had been cooked twice in old frying oil...

This is just disgusting. Chips are rancid and the chicken - I honestly don’t know what they did to ruin it so much. It’s inedible.

My favorite chippy in Cambridge. Also the only one I've been to, but I have it on good authority that I was steered toward the best one. Battered sausage and chips was amazing, so was the cod.

I remember when they opened! And now its father and son running the place. I love that! They stay open as late as 4am if its busy. Friendly inexpensive local take out. That stays open later than anyone else on Mill Rd.

One of the best places from which I have grabbed a late night meal. George, the man behind the counter was extremely patient, explained what everything on the menu was, even suggested what to order after asking me a few questions about my likes and dislikes. I would the the food was good the quantity of food was a lot and the service was excellent. Thank you George!

I have been getting takeaways from Fagito for a good few years now and I've never been disappointed. I wouldn't say they're the best fish and chips or burgers in Cambridge, but they're certainly not bad. I definitely recommend Fagito.

George is a really friendly staff. He recommended a Greek sauce called Tzaikik( a homemade Greek yogurt, with mint and cucumber) for my fish and chip. Really nice. Ask him for it as it’s not on the menu

Good fast food, very affordable and pleasant staff from owner to employees. After very long days they never fail to have you leave more cheerful than when you arrived. Then you get your comfort food, what could be better.

My friend and I stop by Fagito quite often for a takeaway- whether it be post-club, post-work or just when we're having a bad day and I have to say it always makes me happy. The service is consistently good, whether it be the younger man or the older gentleman that is serving us, and considering I don't spend more than 5 mins in there at a time, saying the service is good is saying something. I'm surprised to see people have claimed feeling sick after eating from here as I thought the quality of the food is quite good considering it is a take-out place, and I personally have never felt anything other than content and full after I eat from there. I always get the same- two pieces of chicken and chips so I can't comment on other meals but as I say, I've never had a bad experience at Fagito with that order.

Kebab was small, cold, uncooked , terrible garlic sauce, long meat lay, rubber, terrible salad, price too big to serve, I would not recommend this place... First and last time I eat in Fagito.

Was told these guys make the best chips in Cambridge, and the chips did indeed live up to their reputation.

Food often makes me feel sick after eating. Ordered a pizza expecting a typical thick kebab pizza with a lot of stringy cheese, but got a tesco frozen pizza with a couple of chives thrown on top. Only reason it doesn't get 1 star is because the staff are nice.

Finally tried it. It is not that bad. I tried an hamburguer with chips and was ok. Nice people also.

The good point is that it is open up to late so it can be recommended after a night out drinking when you want to eat something before going to bed. Never tried but considering the smell of the air i would not go inside.

Chip batty for the win, they do halal food also, it's not overly expensive. This place has been around for years on mill road, come here for not bad food.

The food is okay, i will say less then average buts it's cheap. The place don't look very nice. The only thing I liked so far is their chicken pasty and their home made Mayo. But according to the cheap price you can't really complain.

Probably one of or thee worst kebab shops I've ever been to. Been there once or twice after a uni night and it seriously ruined the traditional walk home drunk with a steaming hot greasy kebab experience we all love. Well, down to business... Firstly, the meat is never ever ever hot or cooked fresh Infront of you. It's always served from the warm pans but the meat is always suspiciously stone cold. Never ever seen it being cooked on the spit..very suspicious. Secondly the salad is not kept cold so it's a bit limp and not fresh. It's just kept in a bowl at the side all mixed together (so you can't just have individual components like 'only cucumber and lettuce) and where it must get warm in there it sort of sweats and looses it's crunch and bite. Also the onions are chopped so ridiculously thick it's all you can taste if you get them (onions for me are an necessity) The chilli sauce is of a reasonable viscosity and texture but dosen't have and distinguishable flavour or spice and is also served cold which in aggravating factor baring in mind the meat is stone cold. The pitta, well ... it's not lightly toasted over a flame to give those nice char lines, he microwaves it so when it's being cut it sort of bonds together and tears rather than cuts. This dramatically impacts portion size; the guy sort of gets bored trying to cut it open to creates a pocket to be filled with the meat so he sort of does his best and opens the bread to created an opening of about 1 inch and fills the meat to that capacity (About one 'tongs' worth of meat') which sort of is mostly laid on top on the bread rather than in it WHICH PISSES ME OFF BECAUSE YOU BARELY GET ANY!!!!!!) I would say if you're greedy bugger like me and it's the last kebab shop open (which it normally is) and your too smashed to even distinguish between eating the yellow pages and a kebab then I would probably visit there and risk a bag of Chips. But if your a normal person. Do yourself a favour and walk straight past it, go home and make a fry up pissed out your head on snapchat.

Big portions and good price but food is distinctly everage at best. Was very busy but more for late night pub leavers than anything. If your not to fussy then the price is good.

To be completely honest, the food is terrible. I don't recommend eating it under any circumstances. The potato surprise sounded quite interesting so hot that, but the surprise is that it's s hit. Who knew you could ruin a potato like that? How? But he also gives you a free t shirt if you get ten stamps so ten out of ten, smashing

I love their chicken burger meal and nuggets. Quick, affordable, fresh, tasty, crispy, etc. I'm their regular customer and this is what I order each time. Although they didn't offer me any free meal yet, haha.

Fagito is a regular place for my friends and I. Their reasonable prices combine with more then friendly staff to keep us going! The food comes with good portion sizes, but I would rate it indeed as average.

After visiting the hospital for most of the evening me my wife and son needed some comfort food so we went to fagitos and ordered 2 kebabs and 2 boxes of fried potatoes and headed for the 5 minute car journey home. When home we all tuked in only to discover every peice of food was cold very disappointed. The cook who was working on that night got the meat out of a metel tray so it could of been there all day for all I knew.

The only thing going for this takeaway is that it opens soooo late that if you are majorly stuck you can grab a bold bite. However, the food is not great and in particular the pizza is singularly the worst thing I have ever tasted - smothered in Oregano it was not at all edible. If you're stuck by all means - if not eat somewhere else.

He's so friendly. The service here is second to none for a late night takeaway place and the food is amazing too. Not greasy and sloppy but actually cooked well.

Quite a while since I last visited this fast food restaurant but having been today when Tour de France came to Cambridge I just had to give him a review. A day when any unscrupulous restaurateurs may have bumped their prices up. However this perfect provider not only gave us very generous portions, that were extremely hot and freshly made, he also rounded down our price of £10.78 to £10. What a brilliant representation of Cambridge but I guess he may have been the only person to not take advantage. Well done 'Mr Fagito' I hope did well today even with the road closures.

Perfect for the end of a night, cheap cheerful student take away. I would reccomend trying the chicken fillet burger.
