Mcdonald's Restaurant in Cambridge

Bloody useless ordered sweet chilli wrap received a BBQ, Big tasty meal was missing from my order When contacting to complain because I ordered through just eat McDonald's were not interested which is ridiculous as they messed the order up!

Hands down the worst and most slowest drive through even on a quiet evening. Fix up

Always missing items, possibly staff or management are profiteering for free food or skimming money from the till from items not being received by customer. Had to park and wait for food to cook, then once home realised the main part of one of my orders "the big Mac" was not there. Is it incompetence or a scam!🤔

Unhappy with order, considering I ordered at 17:30 and didn’t get until 18:45. The times kept changing and was getting later and later. And when I eventually received my order it was cold and I was missing a lot from it. Very unhappy with it all!

I got a iced Latte and it was half way full and it had more ice than the actual drink, i was not HAPPY and when i asked the worker about my drink, he said that is how they do it but how am i getting my money’s worth if I'm paying more for less

Took over an hour for delivery. It was stone cold and part of the order was missing.

It’s a decent place .. can get very crowded but was practically empty on a Tuesday morning. Very clean and well maintained by Marie. We noticed that she was doing a thorough cleaning of the place.

Definitely not ordering from this store again. Made me order 3 times to have 90% of my food missing, couldn’t be able to get the first order done because they took 2 hours to check my order and spent £60 for absolutely not good quality food. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

My drink spilt everywhere going over all my food and the driver just said ‘oh your drink is leaking’ and just gave me the food it’s was all cold and wet!!

Waited 20 minutes for a burger meal and apple pie, food is cold and drink is two inches low when I had to pay an extra £1.10 for it, I expect it to be at least full. Also had so many delivery drivers in there pushing and getting in the way so I found it impossible to talk to someone and when I did they walk straight past me even tho I was speaking to them.

I asked for my food to be delivered at 6.10pm it didnt get to me until 7.30pm . It was a hour or so late . Next time i come and collect

Chipe were so hard with a funny tase, and the toffee apple pie was so brown and overcooked there was no apple in the middle as it had all dried up.

I've had some frustrating experiences at this McDonald's. They often run out of paper cups for hot drinks, and they refuse to let me use my own reusable cup or even transfer the drink from their larger cup to my own. Very stubborn. This is the second time the lid was forced onto the cup, causing it to deform and spill hot liquid when I tried to drink. Idk what scheme they were running but having thier staff keeps coming up during my meal and asking us to go online enter the lucky draw and add the name of the staff was pretty annoying. I once ordered a large fries at the drive-thru. Apparently, the staff noticed my presence, and my order was left on the counter while the window remained closed. The staff were chatting and laughing. I didn’t say anything as I understood the British culture. There were people behind me, and we probably didn’t know what we were waiting for. I waited about 5 minutes without saying anything. The girl finally came to hand me the fries, but there were no napkins, no ketchup, nothing. I know it’s McDonald's, i just wish Burger King or Wendy's were closer.

Usually this restaurant is on point. But I visited during busy Saturday. There was no since of urgency to serve customers resulting in cold food and cold coffee(quite a lot of drinks and food sat for too long), and when given opportunity to fix there were multiple issues with the order.

Amazing quick delivery but you do not include seasonal/ special hot drinks which is unfortunate

We ordered at the drive through and were asked to park in the car park to wait. After 15 mins still nothing and people after us in the drive through were getting their food. In the end I had to go inside to get it.

Great! However, today, 31/12/23 my big cheesy was cold and its a shame that is only a temporary burger, it's a serious contender against Burger King!

This is the second time in a fortnight that we have ordered and had a large diet cola in each. Both times we have ended up with only half a cup of cola as they have leaked and all over my new carpet. Are the cups not strong enough or is it due to the way they are transported.

Small car park, making it difficult to get in and out during busy times. Quick drive through. Friendly staff.

i went with my daughter for fries and a shake, we loved the experience! staff were lovely. fries and milkshake delicious. the cambridge drive-thru is the G.O.A.T.

This McD had always had great versions of their burgers and breakfasts. Always been hot food. Fries have always been salted properly. Never been to this one and had a bad McD.

I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by the shift manager on 26.10.24. Two weeks ago, I left a very important item in the restaurant, one with great sentimental value for my family. As soon as I realized, I tried calling the restaurant—27 calls that day, with not a single answer. The next morning, I finally reached someone who confirmed they had my item and assured me it would be kept safe for when I could return. Since I live an hour away, I couldn’t come immediately, but I called again on 16.10.24, spoke with another staff member, and was told it was fine to collect it the following weekend when I’d be back in Cambridge. When I arrived today the manager told us it had been “too long” and that the item was thrown in the bin. My daughter was heartbroken, as it was a favorite toy she had been looking forward to getting back. The manager showed no empathy, didn’t seem to care, and even refused to let me speak with anyone higher up. I tried calling the office right there in the restaurant, but the manager simply ignored the ringing phone. Overall, it was a terrible experience with a complete lack of respect for customers and their belongings.

Clearly not resourced properly, kitchen could not keep up with the drive-thru even though it was relatively quiet. Three of the Ten items ordered missing when I returned home and food was fridge cold besides ordering from this area frequently. May have just as well thrown my £35 in the bin.

What you would expect from a Mc Donalds with a Drive thru and reasonable amount of parking.

We waited for 25 minutes for two McFlurrys. They were sitting on the side, and even when I asked one of the many staff (who were all standing around not doing much), they wouldn't give it to me. Eventually, a delivery driver helped me, and I was given what was essentially soup with toppings floating in it. I had to ask them to replace it, they thought it was acceptable to offer a melted ice cream to me with no apology. Our second time, we were given the completely wrong food by delivery. Our hot food was packed incorrectly by staff, and we received a random assortment of incorrect food not that listed on the receipt attached to the bag. Our drinks and dessert did arrive, but our Mcflurrys didn't have any toppings?! Needless to say, we won't be going back. We don't go here often, but both experiences were terrible, and things seem to have really gone downhill recently. Avoid.

I would really appreciate it if when you ask what sauce I want with my nuggets, that you actually send me sauce. I added 4extra sauces to the order and you still couldn’t achieved what I asked🤷🏽‍♀️ no brains

Restaurant was packed full of people trying to get food. Service has been really slow the last couple of times I’ve been here. Staff seem disinterested apart from the ones clearing the trays (who for the record do a great job). Couldn’t get near the terminals to order food and no one pays attention when you try and order at the till so we used the app and ordered from a table. After a few painstaking minutes of the app struggling, perhaps due to the number of people standing around using WiFi, the order cleared at the payment stage leading us having to re-input the whole thing. Luckily by this point we could get to a terminal so ordered there. We then had to wait about 20mins for food. For reference, receipt number MV9W-ZJ9G-6VL9 as last time I left feedback through they didn’t seem interested without that.

Was very poor fries cold and McRib nothing like it used to be one bite and in the bin honestly so poor.

I ordered for the kids 4 p.m. the kids had to go 5.30 p.m. and they left from home without eating because the order came 5.37 p.m. and they we re not willing to eat nothing because they wanted McDonalds. Thank you!!!

Fast service and delicious food!

Took an hour and a half to send me the wrong order. No McMuffin or hash brown. I’m questioning why it took so long to make two McFlurrys, a cookie (which I don’t order) and a brownie. Absolutely incompetent. The staff should be retrained.
