Subway in Worthing

Delivered an Hour and 15 after ordering a single sandwich from a 15 minute drive away. Watched the driver on the map pick and deliver another 2 orders before finally delivering mine.

Fair price for a roll with bland vegetarian options, but stupid price for a drink and a tiny cookie. Good service by friendly and polite staff.

didn't receive one of the offers given. don't offer it if you can't supply it

the driver never turned up with my food I had to go and get it myself, I want the delivery charge refunded and the driver should be penalised for lying saying he was at the restaurant when he clearly wasn't

wrong order delivered subway not answering telephone. Just eat sent email asking for photos but reply after sending was email unmanaged.

ordered the waffle fires, chicken nachos and chimichurri steak sub. the waffle fries and chicken nachos were not crispy but that is to be expected as it is delivered food and sweats a bit in the box and will not lower the rating for these reasons. The sub on the other hand was full and well constructed. ingredients were fresh and had the right amount of sauce. Very good sub indeed!

Cookies were stale, the cokes were warm and my footlong was very cold. Not enjoyable.

Every time I order there is missing items

missing half my order and don't pick there phone up

wait times are way too long waited about 45 mins to get served on a weekday. idk what is happening here but seems like they're understaffed here or either that the owner is trying to save money. won't be coming back here until the manager sorts the situation out happens all the time

Waffle fries were drenched in sauce. On the menu picture it shows the sauce on the side My toddlers couldn't eat them

Food was cold on delivery, saw it as assigned to driver for ages and delivery time kept going up and up. Longer than the expected delivery time when ordering.

Food was barely warm, terrible quality and small portions especially for the price. Tried lots of new menu items, and they were pretty much all just plain nasty tbh. Should have stuck to subs. It will be a long time before I try Subway again! 2/10 :(

Even tho the durrington subway is nearer, I will only order from Worthing as the amount of salad u get is the best. Where I haven’t got any complaints about the food, the box my salad came in today, the bottom collapsed n all my food ended up on the floor! Plz don’t use the collapsible box I had today. The norm box is a solid base so don’t have that problem

I've ordered subway from other locations and it was not the best. this location is lovely and well done. sandwich isn't to overly toasted and exactly what I ordered.

i ordered from just eat thought it was being delivered not collection at 1pm you close at 12 so didnt get my order

Absolutely shocking the quality of the food we have received. I ordered gluten free bread which wasn’t labelled. Over £6 for a 6” and you barely get any ingredients inside. Poor poor poor!!!

Driver went in different direction to me, then delivery forecast changed multiple times from 1220-1240 originally to 1253 final. Food was cold, no apology for the delay from drver

Never received my order driver pulled up marked it as delivered and then before I could step outside put it back into her bag and left absolutely terrible!!

food arrived after 2.5 hours. order made at 17.10. stated it would be delivered by 18. I phoned Subway at 19, stated food was given to driver at 17.45. states changed to delivering at 19.17, but delivery time kept changing food eventually arrived at 19.45, cold and unedible. 2 drinks also incorrect and 1 crisps incorrect.

2nd time using this store and this is the 2nd time that the order has been wrong 😑 its not rocket science its a sandwich.. sort it out

Freezing cold, congealed food. Grim.

This is second time I order from subway Worthing. Despite I order toasted foot long steak it always comes cold and not toasted . I can’t really understand why. Not tasty at all and it ends in the bin

the food wasn’t even toasted it was hot but not toasty like and nearer the end of it, the bread was stale, the cheese bites wasn’t worth the price. the only good thing was the sauce

This subway is far worse than the other one, which closed down. When we got there the tables were dirty and it was cramped. A queue of 5 people took around 20 minutes, and then I proceeded to ask for no cheese, and infact got cheese. I also asked for onion and got no onion. He was in the back of the store for a while, seemed like it was only him working. When we sat down, we realised I had been charged more than my friend, even though we got the exact same order. It was only a few pence so I just accepted it. I had to take the cheese out of the sub and then I could eat it. It was bland but the food was honestly the best part. The service and atmosphere was abysmal.

Delivery took way too long considering the shop is a 9 minute walk away. After collecting the food, it took over 35 minutes for the rider to arrive, when they eventually did, the food was ice cold

Won't use just eat again ,how do I communicate that my order has said delivered but not to me .

Substack was actually undercooked potato wedges, not hash browns, wrong bread, wrong sauce. Driver was really nice, but delivery took ages.

Placed a deliveroo order at 1030 it was accepted its now 12,27 shop is closed no food no call to say your not getting it and the delivery time just keeps getting later and later takes the piss god help their ears in the morning

Was nice however wasn’t very warm and was given the wrong bread.

We went in and was told to wait 5 minutes because he was eating, then proceeded to be rude to us and blunt. He really didn’t care and the service was just awful, we grabbed a coffee for us both and a snack, it took over 20 minutes. The cheesy bites weren’t even cooked they were cold. Really awful experience sort out the service.

I visited here earlier, but decided to go elsewhere because there was no hand sanitiser.

8/7/22 Thank you to the security guard for helping me and contacting me back for my Uber order which I waited for over a hour & a half. I contacted the store and the Uber delivery I totally get it it’s out there hands if there no drivers. The security guard said call back in 10 minutes and he will find out but he rang me back instead and said a Uber driver was at the store. After a long evening flight home just wanted some food. Thanks to the security guard I didn’t get he’s name but massive thank you. Please pass this on to the Worthing store Chapel Road

I’ve had 2 terrible experiences with subway where on both occasions I’ve had 3 missing items, I spoke with my driver and he insisted that was all he was given so when I rang subway up they refused to offer to drop the missing items and couldn’t give a refund they just blamed the driver for stealing when it was their actions and they were rude on the phone guess if they didn’t work at subway they’d be happier. £17 for a bang average wrap if your thinking of going subway DONT go to the chapel road branch the other one is much better in Worthing

Didn't have the greatest experience today unfortunately - ordered a Margerhita Pizza slice and wasn't given the option of what bread (menu picture shows a plain base) . Couldn't see it being made due to the queue so realised too late that they'd used the herby bread which we can't eat due to intolerances. Explained we couldn't eat it and requested another. Got to the till and had been charged for both. Disappointing.

Really dirty place. Guy had AirPods in just chatting on phone but tables, floor dirty. Amazed he’s got a job when so many others would take pride.

Absolutely atrocious. Just ordered online for a meal, What meal takes OVER AN HOUR TO MAKE! Not only that it turned up freezing cold. with the Foot long so Heavily packed that i have to eat with a fork (yes i ordered double meat as you dont usually get a lot with big beef but this is ridiculous) The cheese wasn't even melted and What i got was NOT a Tiger loaf roll but a plain one. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!. Next time i want a Subway I WILL MAKE MY OWN! On the plus side the Deliveroo guy was very kind. he gets 5 stars. This subway though, I wish i could rate less than 1 star.

Terrible service ordered Deliveroo from here as they don’t take coupons in this branch for whatever reason. Rude staff who then didn’t even make my order properly when I ordered it from Deliveroo!

Ordered the veggie patty salad box. The server put all the salad in but no vegan cheese, didn’t offer it, nor did he offer sauce or crispy onions. I had to ask for everything which made me feel like a pig (usually you are offered and the choice is unlimited). When I requested the cheese he reluctantly took a slice, tore it in two and put it in. From speaking to other Subways there is a quota for cheese & it’s two slices. So I asked for one more, telling him it was ok, he was allowed to put two in. He told me he’d put two in. So I had to speak to him like a simpleton and explain that just because he’d torn it in two, it still counted as one slice. It’s always a bit hit & miss with these boxes as the staff never know how much to charge and I this case he overcharged me (should be £4.89) and he asked for £5 something… if the service had been good I’d definitely give more stars but he was so miserable. I do understand working in subway may not be everyone’s dream job, but it’s a job. And customer service part of that. Rubbish.

Either this is a weird franchise that isn't giving their staff the normal Subway items or the staff need a retraining on how to do basic things and make common menu items. Probably a little bit of both.

If I could give zero stars I would. Twice I have ordered a salad through two different delivery services, and twice I’ve been sent a foot long sub. When I call to complain they tell me I’m wrong, even though I’m looking at the receipt. Incredibly rude and just shocking service.

Ordering through websites for delivery is pointless. Get orders wrong or don't have items. Broadwater branch is much better

Lack of communication and lack of filling in the sub - not evenly distributed No care taken into making the sub. Hygiene didn't look great lots of the fillings had 'bits' or crumbs or other fillings in them.

I'm not keen. They do one vegan option. But they're open later than other takeaways...

Mess up orders and don't care Go somewhere else!

I wanted a meatless meatball marinar....staff proceeded to make it then burst our laughing saying they had none laughed at me then moved on before I'd moved from the queue. Also no gloves very dirty

Easy food.not enough to leave home for.but convenient

Food tasted good as Subway always does. However our server came out without a mask on, he put his hands in all the salad options which could be dangerous to someone with an allergy, and we didn't get asked if we wanted our meat toasted (which we did) and we didn't get asked what source we wanted. Bad service, wasn't organised and not polite.

Use this subway if you are in a rush and don't want to sit down. Use the one just round the corner if you want to take your time. Only bonus about this one is that it stays open later.

Refused to offer tap water with my meal!! Was trying to force me to buy bottled water. It turns out they can’t offer tap water because they haven’t got clean drinking pipes. Will never buy from this subway again if that’s the case.
