During our 2 weeks summer school, Rabin and Monique were one of the sweetest people we met in UWE Bristol. Me and my girlfriend would come regularly to have subway for breakfast and lunch to also meet them. We really enjoyed dining with you guys. Best wishes! Quang and Linh

I was served today by Rabin and Monique at the subway on Frenchay campus. They were both extremely friendly and polite and their customer service was fantastic. Service with a smile goes a long way and it made my lunch break a positive experience.

It's incredibly frustrating how they always skimp on the vegetables, especially the salad. Every time I order, I'm left with a pitiful amount, barely enough to call a serving. The worst part is the attitude of the African woman who serves it. She looks at me as if I'm asking for something unreasonable or like I have some sort of special needs. It's infuriating to be treated this way, especially when I'm paying a premium for what should be a decent meal. I don't understand why they can't just provide a reasonable portion, considering the price. It feels like a rip-off every single time, and the condescending look I get only adds insult to injury. I’m seriously considering never coming back.

I am writing to share my concerns regarding a repeated unpleasant experience I encountered at your Subway branch at UWE, specifically with a senior team member, who was an old lady. During my recent visit, I experienced a significant inconvenience with the beverage dispenser. While the previous customer was allowed to select an alternative beverage from the fridge due to the machine's malfunction, I was asked to wait for a repair. This not only delayed my meal but also resulted in my food cooling down significantly, which was disappointing given my time constraints. Furthermore, when I sought permission to take a beverage from the fridge, the response from this team leader was notably discourteous. Her manner was neither supportive nor polite, which unfortunately mirrored a previous encounter where her interaction was similarly discourteous. Given these experiences, I strongly recommend that appropriate customer service training be provided to this team member to ensure that all customers receive a respectful and polite service.

1) Supervisor no where to be found. 2) supervisor treats his staff with Ill manor and he looks like he better than them. 3) I have noticed that working for him is a night mare don’t release schedule on time or doesn’t do the prep and leaves casual staff to train new casual staff which is his job to do. 4) leaves at rush hour always and comes back when it does down.

Good Subway, just as good as your usual high street Subway. Everything kept clean and in stock, friendly staff. Seems to be a high turnover in staff though, meaning not all of them may be very experienced sandwich artists- sometimes you get a little of a filling, sometimes you get a lot! I guess it balances out over time but it’s always a gamble 😂. Worth dropping in if you’re studying in Q or R block.

This subway is inside the University of west of england. I found this subway more organised and hygienic compared to some of the nearby places I have visited . It's a nice place to grab a bite when you are in university.

Unfortunately one member of staff is ruining the experience when other staff members offers great customer service. An older lady was very rude and rolling her eyes when saying two people wanted to pay together. It is disappointing to see that there are already a number of other reviews that seem to be referring to the same lady. I hope some action is taken towards correcting this aggressive and rude behaviour towards your customers. Maybe some constructive feedback or extra training on customer service.

Be wary of bad Deliveroo drivers serving this place. Orders marked as delivered but no delivery attempt made. Restaurant tried their best but Deliveroo as the ultimate brand representative really messed up.

Very poor customer service, staff are impatient and passive aggressive (no greetings, shouted at customer while they're browsing the menu, push the food at the checkout). Today, they let 3 customers waiting outside in the rain though the capacity of the store was not full (they were only serving a customer at the time). I don't mind all of these behaviors if they gave food for free, but the customers PAID for the food and services, please consider this. Will not come back and NOT recommend to other students.

We ( companies) close it down, it's great that UWE as other institutions, kept certain units open to provide services and reliability in them UWE's Subway was in a child honest words, awesome and tasty, very good value for money, a child's joy... priceless

If I could give zero stars for this facility I would. Called there today to buy some lunch and was confronted by a jobs-worth numpty on the door asking me if I had the track and trace app installed. I replied no but I'm happy to sign the form as I'd done 2 days before when buying a coffee here. I was then told (with attitude) that it was UWE policy that I must have the track and trace app installed to be on site! Considering (as a contractor) I'd completed all necessary rams for attending site, been to numerous other buildings and food courts across site and also been in the same store 2 days earlier (with a pleasant experience) I knew 100% that this was not a UWE policy at all. To top it off there's a desk next to the guy with the track and trace forms that are to be filled out when you don't have the app installed! Rather than cause a fuss I said (totally calmly and friendly) "no problem, I'll shop elsewhere" to which he replied "no need to kick off mate". To which I laughed it off with my colleague and walked away. The attitude of this top quality member of staff was beyond a joke, during a time where people should be thankful for people spending money to keep them in a job he seemed that this was an appropriate way to talk to a customer. I feel sorry for the other staff who have to work with someone with such a bad customer service attitude who blatantly lied to my face and essentially called me a liar. I'll be sure to call by next week and challenge the little twerp once again!

Lovely food, but the service wasn't the best. It was unclear on how to order and when I went to order one of the meal deals (pizza and drink), you could only order two options of the sides, which is either chips or wedges, which isn't anywhere on the menu. The wait wasn't terrible for two pizzas with two sides, but the store was empty despite it being 6pm on a Saturday, but I can't fault the food.

Llevé a mi madre a la hora de comer y en general, fue una experiencia realmente mala. Esperamos una eternidad para nuestra comida que cuando salió estaba equivocado, frío y de vergüenza. Claramente compitiendo contra Weatherpoons y no ha pagado. Es mejor ir a otro lugar y conseguir mejor servicio y comida. TERRIBLE.

No fault of the person serving in the cafe as she was on her own and clearly stressed , no notice to inform early closure off cafe and the short staffing situation, waiting for 25 mins in line , a lot of food not available, again no notice or anything to inform people waiting as this (could have saved some waiting ) seen a lot of staff
