Not delivered took my money but no food

Delivery was on time. However, we ordered. 3 different curries and tasted exactly the same except during levels of heat

The owner was a delight so friendly made us feel at home and the food was amazing so fresh tasted homemade. You can really taste the difference when the chef has pride in his art form. Can't wait to go back.

Always tasty and hot we got there a little bit early but they immediately got my order ready and it was piping hot even when we got it home even got enough curry for the next day

We ordered and collected a takeaway on recommendation from a friend. The owner was very welcoming on arrival and our order was ready on time. The food was absolutely delicious! Full of flavour, fresh ingredients, zingy spices and some interesting combinations. The sauces were full of depth and all very different, unlike a lot of standard Indian BIR takeaways. The Momos were lovely and my Nepalese chicken dish was full of chicken breast meat and an amazing spicy sauce. I was so impressed that I rang the owner after our meal to tell him how much we enjoyed it. Would highly recommend this establishment and we will be using this often from now on.

Delicious, delicious food. Our family of meat eaters and a vegan are always very happy with Subham. Tasty, fresh, depth of flavours, fresh herbs, all the veg (vegan meal). We totally recommend Subham. It's our favourite. Thank you, Subham! We appreciate you! :)

really dissapointed as google review rating good. But not the best chicken in all meals chewy. Tikka masala sauce too tomato based. Even the cheese naan poor had the very slightest cheese flavour. not for us again I'm afraid.

Chicken overcooked. Real lack of flavour. No taste of Chilli despite ordering a dish that should have had at least a kick of Chilli. This establishment does NOT cook using a Tandoor. The meat is clearly cooked in a usual oven. Naans are sadly cooked badly, Probably because of the lack of Tandoor cooking. Ordered here on a recommendation, Sadly will not return. Much better Indian or indeed should I say Bangladeshi restaurants in Plymouth.

Had to ring to see where the order was and was told, driver on route and will be a further 15 mins, after already 20 minutes late. At the 1/2hr point of being late , I would have cancelled the order but had paid by card up front. First time we have ordered from here. Unlikely to order again. Shame!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! Takeaway often scares me as I’m autistic and I’m scared that south East Asian food will come with surprising fruit or textures. But all of the descriptions of the food are SPOT ON!!! And I called and made sure about the different spices and spoke to a very sweet young man who was unbelievably helpful!!!! I’m absolutely astounded at how delicious, flavourful and fragrant this is!! We had the chicken korma, cheesy nan bread, salmon bal, onion Bajis, chicken momos and rice special!!!! The chicken was so delicious and soft and tender and the salmon so so fresh!!! Also the driver was so sweet when he arrived and happy you can tell the people really love their job because the food tastes so good and they’re so polite. Or at least I hope they do because they’re bloody good at it!! We deffo got too much and will probably eat it over the next few days. So so happy with my order well worth the price and happy with the quality and the delivery time. Definitely our new favourite place.

The sag paneer was AMAZING! Garlicky, fresh spinach, paneer greatness. I’ve eaten a lot of this dish over the years and cooked it myself plenty. This was awesome. Butter chicken was a first for us (the kids normally want korma!) and it was superb. Yak roll for me steals the biscuit, way better than any Chinese spring roll. Nomnomnomnom . Early, hot and bonus, the poppadoms were so light and crispy. Namaste 🙏🥰

Beautiful food 😍 if you are only having chips like I do I’d recommend ordering 2 portions per person. This place is one of my favourite places to eat from as they have beautiful tasting food and their delivery time is always early!

Visited on the of chance, Wen for the traditional Nepalese didshes and one the best ones I have had. Very tender lamb dish and very food helpings not sure I needed the starter will be back

As ever, absolutely tasty and delicious. I love that there's aubergine and okra in my veg curry. The mushroom rice is amazing. The rest of my family love their meat dishes every time. Thank you!

As usual, the food at Subham is absolutely top tier. The best ingredients and flavours. They are always very obliging with different food specifications - vegan/no dairy or eggs etc. My vegan food is always the absolute best. It can be hard at other takeaways/restaurants if you have a particular food specification - but not at Subham. Thank you!

we walked a short distance to subham takeaway and asked the staff to open up the restaurant compartment which was no problem at all. very tasty starter and main course which was all 5 star for taste and quantity. we were served by a very friendly and polite chap, i highly recommend subham

The delivery lady was early and lovely and the chicken curry and rice were lovely however the sag paneer tasted odd and so did the keema naan and the chips were refried and over cooked - usually takeaway is one of the best but this time disappointing.

best food ive eaten in a long while. the two of us walked a short distance from home and we sat in the very clean and tidy restaurant side. my starter was delicious and both our main courses together with the rice was tasty and plentiful. also to add the meat was extremely soft juicy and succulent. i recommended eating here regularly

Came in late night on a Sunday, accommodated us and opened the restaurant. The food was so fresh - MoMos best I’ve had in this country. Thanks Again Subham Restaurant

Subham is excellent. The food is totally on point. The momos are amazing but do remind them about the accompanying sauce as we have missed this a couple of times. Lamb dishes here are still great; I have noticed the quality plummeting in other ones we briefly defected to. Recommend chadni chock and the tarka dhal is excellent, not the watery drizzle we've had from others.

A delicious aroma emanates from this eatery takeaway. Don't request a delivery as you'll miss this olfactory experience. Just to go in to make an order or pick one up, make one salivate. Ready to eat? Can't wait to get home:.. Could eat in the restaurant too. Must do some time soon. Friendly helpful staff can advise on best choices. Note though, that they don't take credit or bank card payments as they don't have that facility. You can get cash next door at the convenience store. Phone for orders.. is a bit flaky and difficult to hear. However, they got the orders correctly and were quick to get it ready. Just 30 mins to pick-up. Don't miss out on this delicious treat in Ham Green.

First time ordering. Delivery was quick. Ordered tikka masala, was very very watery, ruined the meal as the rice was swimming in water from the curry. Chicken was tough. Naan was nice. Saag aloo- potatoes were hard/undercooked and tasted like lime . Won’t be ordering again 😞

Was really impressed by the quality of food, despite the fact the restaurant come from the other side of the city it was still very hot, we received a good amount of bajis (4, other places I e been to only give 3 which is no good if you are a couple) and a free can of coke! It was all delicious. The only thing I will say is the portion size of the chips were quite small, the rest of the food though the portion was good. Me and my partner were very impressed, we dont eat takeout very often but when we do we will be coming back here!

First Class Food !! Friendly Staff Fantastic Indian Cuisine, full of flavour 😍 Have sampled several different dishes over the weeks and they do not dissapoint The hotter dishes have an appropriate spicy kick and the milder ones are still full of flavour rather than just bland like many mild dishes at other curry shops Really pleased we've found this Indian!! Only improvement would be larger portion size !

The best Indian in Plymouth! I've been coming here for my Saturday night Indian takeaways for 3 years, and nothing can top it. Both delivery and collection are reliable and the staff are just so lovely and friendly. What tops it is the food is just delicious! King prawn shahi and vegetable rice is so tastey! Give it a go!

It’s not very often that you get a fantastic curry that’s delivered early on a Saturday night. Not my usual takeaway but it will be from now on. Very satisfied.

Waited 2 hours for a curry, opened the door to the delivery driver sneezing about 6 times into his hands in his car. Reached right into the bag and grabbed all of my food despite me saying 'I'll grab it.' Told me he had alcohol gel in the car even though he didn't realise I'd just watched him not use it. Should have just put a pizza in the oven.

Lovely food as always, it's been our go to delivery curry restaurant for about a year (be warned though that spicy means spicy!). Last order was a little late, but they kept us updated through the app, so we weren't surprised (and understand that sometimes things happen), and it makes a change, they are normally early!
