Absolutely Superb Breakfast . Great Value and always cooked to perfection . My go to cafe in Gorleston and Yarmouth ! 5 Star

I stumbled upon this cafe last year and had the Standard Breakfast. I was so annoyed with myself for not adding black pudding to it so I had to go back this year to make things right. After a long walk from Hopton, this was well needed. It was a long wait to be served and there weren’t any tables when we first came in however, it was completely worth it, the staff are lovely and I only wish that there were more of them to help the poor lady out that was absolutely rushed off of her feet. Then again, it being busy is a good sign. Once ordered, the food came out fairly quickly and piping hot. I’ll definitely be returning every time that I’m in the area and although I’d love to try more of the menu, I think it’ll always be the breakfast.

Best place for breakfast it’s always lovely. The are young but pleasant and polite it’s a credit to the families. They work really hard.

I knew we was on to a winner when we saw how busy it was! Decent breakfast loads of options , lovely girls serving really polite. The food was fresh hot and served pretty quick. Loads of parking outside added bonus.

My wife, daughter and myself popped in to this seafront cafe for a cuppa but decided to have a meal This cafe is certainly value for money where a large breakfast of 3 sausages, 2bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 eggs, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms with toast was only £8.20 (as of 5/12/2023. All served up by very friendly staff

We had to take our Campervan back to the dealer for a re-call to be sorted, who are based in Gorleston. So, whilst it was being sorted, we went and had breakfast in this cafe.What a find, as previous reviews have said, a real gem of a place. A genuine welcome, plenty of time to decide what we wanted, well laid out tables with excellent signing all around for the COVID measures. Felt really safe whilst there.The best bit........ the breakfastTwo full English with two coffees plus toast etc, for under £14.Fantastic value, all freshly cooked and served with a smile, tasted absolutely delicious. We will definately be returning next time our Van is in for work.

I was looking for breakfast in the area. I first went to the Marine Cafe on the sea front then to the Hotel. See my reviews on these establishments!!I disappointed in trying to find a decent welcoming establishment in which to enjoy breakfast. I stumbaled on this place having been disappointed in the other eateries in the area. It Dosnt really stand out and is like the Tardis, so don't be put off thinking the place is small. It has plenty of tables outside should you wish to take in the fresh sea air. I chose to look inside. I was very surprised at the amount of space and the number of tables especially with social distansing!I was met with a smile and a genuine good morning.I ordered a full English Breakfast, small no way,tea and toast £6.85 there was a larger option for not much more.The breakfast arived after a few minuets. It was all obviously cooked to orderIt was very well presented and all very taste and enjoyable. It was quite busy and it was obvious that this was a place that people returned to time and again with quite a few customers on first name terms with the staff.. I felt immediately comfortable and welcome from the minute I walked in. Grate atmosphere and I noticed that even though the staff were very busy, they still maintained an infecuse smill when clearing away the dishes etc. Their smile ☺ and general attitude seem to pass on too all in the place, including me!So you all you other local establishments take notice. Or why not pop in and learn something about service and good food.

Very covid secure, Nice menu and reasonably priced. Lady serving , who I think I heard others call Christine was constantly smiling, and extremely friendly. To be honest it took a while for the food, but was definitely worth the wait, and a generous side salad that was fresh and tasty too. The jacket potato was generous with Good filling, as was the toasty. We had glasses of apple juice too, again very nice and a generous sized glass for the price. Will be back.

Visited here this morning for breakfast after reading positive reviews. Simple and traditional menu, which is executed brilliantly. Food was out in a reasonable time, and fresh and hot. Covid-secure measures in place, without being intrusive. Would highly recommend!

We spent our entire holiday looking for decent coffee and decent vegan/veggie food in Gorleston, finally found it in the Storm House Cafe! Sat with the dog outside, the staff were friendly and easily adapted their veggie options for a vegan. My first actual breakfast since arriving in Gorleston!! Good coffee, good food, can’t wait to go back tomorrow morning for more.

The food here was so, so nice and the customer service was even better. We were staying in the hotel across the road with breakfast included, but we had breakfast here instead because it was so much nicer!

in the summer we visited and the young waitresses are so kind and lovely and have amazing customer service skills, however i went in today and there was two older ladies who are very rude, the breakfast was okay but not happy with the customer service

Had a wonderful cooked breakfast here to set us up for our journey North! Lovely coffee too. Reasonable price and the staff were very pleasant! Wiped down the tables and wore a visor!

Visited with my husband and daughters 3 & 5. Husband had a tea cake as he wasn’t hungry One daughter had a sandwich and other daughter had chicken nuggets and I had a hamburger. All was good quality and perfect for what we wanted. Coffee etc looked lovely- they had a barista machine. We had coke, Fanta and fruit juice. Total cost was around £18 normal prices. A main meal here is about £5.50 and a kids meal is £3.75. Sandwiches start at around £3. Everything was very clean and well presented. All tables were disinfected after use and service was good. We had a little wait for our food Due to how busy they were but we didn’t mind. The free WiFi allowed us to book our boat tour for the next day. Very pleased we visited.

Full English breakfast out with a friend after Sheilding for 4 months. No concerns about social distancing. Great meal, helpful staff. I hope they manage to recoup financially from lock down restrictions.

Me and my children came for a breakfast thisMorning and was very impressed with the service and quality of food, the range of breakfasts were brilliant as my child is fussy I got to choose all the components of the meal, I had an omelette and I can happily say it was one of the tastiest omelette s I’ve personally eaten... I also had a slice of chocolate cake and it was delicious!! Will definitely be returning :)))

I went for breakfast at the stormhouse cafe this morning and I was very impressed with the food and service, all food was hot and stayed hot because the plates were heated, friendly staff and food arrived very quickly, will definitely be revisiting :)

Disgusting. Ordered 2 milkshakes with ice cream. 1 chocolate and 1 strawberry as my fiancé can’t have chocolate. And what they gave us was a tonne of syrup, no ice cream but instead whipped cream with chocolate powder on the top. It says nothing about whipped cream and chocolate powder on the menu so they should have checked to see if it was ok before just dumping it on. Some of the food was ok but I could not even eat mine because it was horrible

We were staying for a few days used this place a couple of times. 1st day welcomed by a very efficient lady who took our details and order. Returned on 17/07 a young server didn't take our details and also managed not to put our order through to kitchen as was too busy chatting to family on another table. When our cold takeaway order was completed, which she confirmed could be wrapped as we wanted for a picnic. We later discovered that order was wrong, and had not been wrapped as requested so sandwiches were dry/spoilt.

This place is a lifesaver. Wether you fancy a nice bite to eat in the sun after walking the beach, or you need a hangover rescue; this is the place to go. The portions are massive and the prices are great. I can't recommend the Full English and "Breakfast Baguette" enough. The baguettes are so rammed with food you can't close them!

take my grandson here for breakfast after football on a Saturday morning.The staff are always helpful and happy the breakfast is excellent , piping hot and very good value for money.The best i have ever had anywhere in my 69 years .Also visit during the week for a coffee with my wife and the lunchtime snacks are also 5* .Definitely the best cafe i have ever eaten in

Fantastic little cafe, I have been here before so searched it out next time I was in the area. Had a mug of tea and build my own breakfast. Food well cooked, piping hot and quickly served.Always a friendly welcome in this real gem of a place

Visited recently and found the Cafe very worthy of it's status. Friendly, clean, good quality hot food, set menu's or choose what you want to make up a good plateful, at very reasonable prices. Service is very prompt and food is piping hot and freshly cooked. Overall a good place to eat. only 1 critiscism, the black pudding not so good, quite tasteless. pehaps they need to find another supplier who produces better quality flavourful product. Would happily pay more for better quality.

I stayed at the Cliff Hotel nearby and decided to try breakfast at the Storm House Cafe . You can choose your own breakfast or have the full English etc. I thought the build your own breakfast selection was a great idea as my mum doesn’t eat very much and was able to choose exactly what she wanted . The two ladies serving couldn’t be more helpful . The plates were hot , the food good and the cafe was very clean. You order and pay at the counter . I imagine the cafe can get very busy and I look forward to going back .

Friendly staff. Good quality coffee at a reasonable price. Decent menu (although we were there only for mid-morning coffee). The place was full at 11am on a Januray Sunday.

You need to check the dates as this has change hands many times, busy and quite nosey as open plan with wooden furniture on tiled floor. Fast food for breakfast and good range

Visited here many times and by far the best breakfast. Cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Driving past saw workman's Van's and Lorry's outside thought that's got to be worth a try and glad I did, fanatic breakfast and very good service my only criticism is that the tables are sticky don't think it's due to lack of cleanses maybe it's because they are solid pine wood tables, but that would not put me off returning.

Went here for breakfast, bit basic but good honest wholesome food at a good price!! Very busy obviously used by the local tradesmen ,always a good sign!! Worth a visit.

Called in for a breakfast at the storm house cafe, bright and clean place with extremely friendly staff. I had a breakfast with a few extras added plus a cup of tea.

Thank you for making our first visit to your establishment such a pleasant one. The young lady serving us certainly knew how to provide excellent service with a smile. The sausage sandwiches were delicious. Great sausages, including the vegetarian sausage. :)

What can I say? Proper breakfast food, well priced, great cup of tea. All you could want from a "no frills" breakfast cafe.

Good food, good service, good value, ticks all the boxes. Easy parking and right on Gorleston seafront so a nice walk after breakfast to ease the conscience.

First trip to Gorleston, this was an unusually sunny bank holiday weekend, found the café slightly off the seafront only by a minute or two, away from the crowds which was nice!

My partner, myself and our daughter decided to visit the Storm house cafe a couple of weekends ago. The cafe was busy, however the service we received was still of a high standard. We ordered our food and drinks both of which were very reasonably priced and enjoyed rare family time together. When our food arrived it was very tasty and we weren’t disappointed! The only two tiny things I would critise are that the was a half eaten lolly on the floor by our table and the door to the side of the building had a slight draft, this wouldn’t be noticeable at all in the summer months! Overall, lovely cafe, nice staff and we’ll visit again!

Visited last weekend after a heavy night. Service was attentive and the order came out exactly as (fussily) ordered by 4 people! Well done.

Been here several times, Service is always welcoming, fantastically priced and you know it's freshly cooked. Make a great cuppa tea, apple juice is a decent size. Highly recommend. I'm fussy about eggs- perfect!

I eat there regularly (I get to Gorleston about every 3rd week) and have one of the most delicious breakfasts to be found around at a reasonable cost . i.e. good value for money. Very friendly service.

Found this gem of a cafe while spending a wet morning in Gorleston.lovely friendly staff and customers all seemed more than happy with their food.the all day breakfast was a great hit and all cooked freshly,I had a huge jacket potato with salad that was good value.lovely clean toilets and bonus of baby changing facility

Good plain food, reasonably priced & very happy, helpful staff. Some outside seating in the summer but I believe it is open all year round.

We would like to recommend the storm house cafe for a full english breakfast is good value for money and would recommend coming here as you are right next to the beach they also do dinners well worth the visit the owner and staff are very Welcoming and friendly

First time in Gorleston Dropped in for breakfast, nice and clean, friendly staff. granddaughter had a small breakfast and eat it all, Adults had the bigger breakfast, and loved it, good value! busy café.

Well worth walking back a bit from the beach to this cafe. All day breakfast but plenty to choose from if that's not your thing, and all at a good price. They take cards as well as cash and provide friendly service. Clean & tidy, lovely & cool inside on a hot day. Outside seating if you want yo watch the world go by.

the breakfast here is very good my family all had the standard breakfast with tea and toast I had poached eggs on toast with a cappacuino which was really good.The service was fast and efficient staff all very friendly very busy and the place was spotlessly clean

When we are in Gorleston we always have Sunday breakfast here. The place is always clean & tidy. The food is good. If it's a nice day there are tables outside.

Bright, clean interior and very welcoming staff. Food well presented, plentiful and tasty. An excellent choice for lunch.

The coffee like the service was excellent, but the chocolate cake was dry. Definitely not one of their best. The café was , clean and tidy, it was only the dryness of the cake that spoilt what would have been a very good break.

We just wanted a coffee. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Coffee was great and really good value.

The service is always really good, love the fact you are right next to the sea - oh and the food is pretty amazing too. Their eggs are really very good - always fresh and perfectly cooked whichever way you have them. Lovely jubbly!

Found this cafe by accident. 4 adults n 2 kids. They cooked us a delicious brekkie. Couldn't fault any of it. Good price too. £33 for 4 adult full breakfasts 2 kids breakfasts n drinks too. Fab.

Visited today with 3 kids and had a lovely breakfast. Staff were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. Food was great quality and value for money, with a menu which included nice touches such as black pudding and bubble & squeak. So glad we found this place to set us up for our journey home!

Went here Fathers day with my 7 and 1 year old and it was one of the best breakfasts I've had out in a while.

A nice variety on the menu, we had a ploughman's lunch which had loads on the plate, staff very friendly. Very reasonably priced.

We were looking for somewhere in Gorleston to have breakfast. Walked past here didn't look much from the outside but so glad we went in. Full breakfast for £5 didn't want mushrooms so got offered an extra egg instead. My friend had the veggie breakfast which was great too. Staff very friendly and the cafe is clean and airy would highly recommend.

Fresh cooked breakfast. Helpful staff, pleasant and clean surroundings. Very good value for money. Oh and they will give you a real teaspoon if you ask.

We just keep going back time and time again. The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. the breakfasts are amazing. They are so accommodating. Today they placed our ballons and banners for our sons birthday before we arrived. His face was a picture! We simply love this cafe and highly recommend this. i give them a 10/10 on every visit we have ever had. Try them for yourself and see, you will thank me for it!!!!

Visited today for the first time with my partner and sister. We live locally and was looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and breakfast. Didn't regret our decision one bit, the food was served fast, lovely large cup of coffee with a biscuit, staff where very polite and helpful. Really good service all round. Prices where cheap even after I was told they had been slightly increased! It's surpringly spacious inside so even when it started to get more busy I didn't feel anxious or uncomfortable at all. We will defiantly visit again!

Popped in for breakfast after a walk along the harbour and was not disappointed a very friendly welcome with great service in a homely but spacious cafe. The veggie breakfast was perfect great value and plenty on the plate . Plenty of types of coffee to choose from only looked at the breakfast menu so am unsure what else is on offer but I'm certain it will live up to the breakfast reputation I am definitely planning a return trip very soon

We stumbled upon The Storm House Cafe by accident, and we are so glad we did. The staff are friendly and welcomed us in although the were about to close for the day. We had delicious ham salad sandwiches and coffee (Highly recommended) The cafe is bright and airy and it has got tables crammed together, so this adds to a pleasant dining experience.The place is so clean and they have worked hard it seems to make it a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views with a cuppa. The cafe is situated not to far from Gorleston beach , which is really handy as the other beach side food places are too expensive. Prices here are so reasonable. We returned for lunch the next day and the food was delicious and served piping hot, which is a huge plus for me. They also do breakfasts, we sadly we didnt try, but we will this year hopefully! As I stated before the staff a friendly and welcoming and couldnt do enough for every customer.

My husband and I opted for the omelette option for breakfast. It was well cooked thick and fluffy. The extraction is also very good. Nice to eat in a cafe and not coming out smelling of chips.

I was visiting in the area and had a delicious English breakfast. The food was hot, tasty and the ingredients were quality. The meal came quickly and the staff was friendly. I even went out the door with some of their home made chocolate cake. I'll be sure to stop by here again the next time I'm in town.

Visited on a Saturday morn and was welcomed with a smile . The Breakfast was served promptly with quality ingredients and cooked well .All round good value and Recommended.

My wife and I used to eat here before it changed names. Since the change the food and service has got 100% better. Thought the menu is not as large as it was it is still VERY good value. We eat here at least once a fortnight.

Visited for a Coffee & some lunch. Very friendly staff. The guy who I dint know his name was very chatty. Very welcoming and food was spot on. Would happily eat her over any main chain restaurant/coffee shop. Thanks guys!

This Cafe is well worth a visit. The food is very good quality, and it is served by very friendly and courteous staff.

Stopped here on a whim and so glad we did, the food was excellent and the cake was to die for! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming again. The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.

The 1st time we had visited this cafe and certainly will be our 'regular' when we visit Gorleston in future.

I have to say this was a very pleasant place to visit, friendly and polite service all round, breakfast was hot, nicely cooked and very nice, plate was heated to ensure it stayed hot until the end. great prices and options on the size of the breakfast you want. By far one of the nicest breakfasts in Gorleston, would recommend Storm House to my friends. Myself and friends will certainly be visiting again!! Standard Breakfast consists off, sausage, 2 bacon, hashbrown, fried egg, tin toms, beans and mushrooms. Option of either slice of bread, toast or fried bread and a coffee or tea. Well worth £4.99 with a option of double of everything for a extra £1.50 except beverages. 10/10

Visited with my son for a late breakfast as a treat!

We stopped using the cafe just before it closed as we felt standards had dropped and the premises looked jaded and there was always an odor of cooking wherever you sat so it was with fingers crossed when we decide to give it a try after reopening and we were pleasantly surprised at the transformation.The food was nicely presented and is cooked to order but well worth the 10 minute wait. I would give the cafe 100% but would only give 98% because I do not like sauce etc. in sachets.Give it a try you wont be disappointed

I visited this cafe today for breakfast. I had been there a couple of times when it was the Harbour Breakfast Bar Cafe but I didn't like it as there was a heavy smell of grease in the air and the breakfasts were ok but the whole place was jaded. It is now under new management and today's experience was much better. The place has undergone a refurbishment, it looks and smells clean. The breakfast is cooked fresh which means you have to wait for a little while but it was well worth the wait. Also good value for money with plenty of food on the plate. The queue was out of the door this morning. Well worth a visit. Staff are very pleasant and attentive.

We went in here for breakfast and it was so good we returned for dinner there was 12 of us and they delt with us all so well we had my disabled mum with us and it was so easy for her to get in so we was very happy with that and the food was brilliant and was fast as well and it didn't cost loads so definitely recommend and will definitely return :)

I was that the storm house cafe had opened up again and thought I would give a look ! It had been called several other names by other owners but now it's back to its old Name Storm House Cafe ! It has a nice menu usual breakfasts plus too many more item's to mention but the quality of food that I had was high ! Very nice coffee machine made a nice cappuccino ! It was very clean . not overcrowded with loads of tables so I had plenty of room in my Wheelchair ! Well worth a look .
