Very slow staff. Only appears the owner lady (I guess) was interacting and the chap was. Well. Uninterested and slow. I’m sorry but a couple of sandwiches and coffees seemed to cause carnage. He came to serve tables outside and returned inside leaving the tables with used and left plates and cups. Not the best experience. Food was near cold (hot sandwiches) and noticed folk getting either coffee first then ages later the food. One chap had cookies and actually went in for his long awaited coffees. Long wait on our sandwiches. I’d not bother again as loads of coffee shops about.

Wanted a reasonably quick stop for some lunch. Ordered toasties and tea from the counter and sat at an outside table to wait….and wait….and wait some more. The food and drinks were fine when they finally showed up but not enough to make the wait a worthwhile use of time.

I came to this café to get a hot chocolate with my friends. Sorry to say this was not as good as I'd hoped. Firstly, the hot chocolate was far too extortionate for what it was. The service was so slow and I had limited time. I went to check out and right after i had payed for it, the server decides to tell me conveniently that they don't use disposable cups for hot drinks anymore and i had to spend an extra pound on a reusable cup. Overall I'm very upset with my experience being scammed. Would not recommend.

This review is for the Stop Cafe At Shrewsbury Museum. All the staff were so polite, friendly and smartly dressed. We ordered some food which was brought to us beautifully prepared and presented and tasted great. A very good selection of bottle alcoholic drinks and the hot drinks were properly made and nicely presented. The date and time of my visit was Tuesday 19 September around 3pm. I didn’t realise what a great place this was and I will return with friends. These people who work here have been trained well and as it’s restored my faith in the service industry. It wouldn’t be right to single one individual out as they were all excellent.

In previous months we have found the cafe a very friendly and tasty place for lunch, brunch or just a lovely coffee. I took my family today who were visiting from London, we sat outside, everything was perfect except a mature female member of staff, she didn't smile once, watery abrupt when I enquired if we were to order at the bar or if it was table service, when we went to pay she made spliting the bill so uncomfortable and was very rude in her manner, I felt like I was being told of for paying! I would love to continue to frequent this cafe, however if this member of staff remains we will not.

I have visited here several times before without incident. However on my recent visit on 26/1/23, my family and I were waiting for a table for 3 to become available. Whilst waiting, a party, initially of 3, entered behind. When asked how many the table was for, this party said that it was for 7, pointing to the other members outside. The waiter then pointed to a table, which was to be vacated for the party. This was despite the fact that my family were still waiting to be seated. When I asked the waiter about this, he replied that they were prioritising the party of 7, instead of my family which still stood waiting. We then proceeded to leave in disgust, and we will not return. Though this states this is a 1 star review, this is in fact a 0 star review.

I have visited stop many times over the years and always been happy great food and friendly staff until today. A disinfectant spray was being used to clean the tables we all had a mouthful and it went in my coffee, we address what happened with the waitress and she apologised, a few minutes later the same happened again another member of staff, it tasted foul this time we all had a mouthful of fine spray, the member of staff just said I have to clean the tables no apologies, there were also people eating, the sun was beaming down on the tables, a hot soapy cloth or the disinfectants applied to the cloth would have been more than adequate. I didn't even finish my coffee.

Not a bad little place. Been there for coffee and cake before, no issues. I had the flatbread, it was actually lovely, nice flavour. However, in my mind if I'm paying a fiver for a glorified sandwich I'd expect a larger flat bread, what I got was the size of a smaller pitta. Saying that though, my partner's bagel was filled and looked lovely. So swings and roundabouts. I would come here again but for the cakes, which look lovely to be fair.

The youngest customer is not an adventurous eater but we had two 'firsts' - he ate his entire cheese toasty including the crusts (usually regarded with deep suspicion) and voluntarily tried 'the green stuff' and shredded carrot - both won approval. He also 'shared' two smoothies and asked if Dad could make them at home. Adult meals were great - halloumi wrap substantial and tasty, BLT bagel disappeared fast and a Cooper's sausage roll went down well. Everything was well presented and very reasonably priced.

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far
