Waited 2 hours for a delivery. Called to check status of food and told very rudely that they are very busy and phone down. Bacon baguette is half a French stick with literally 2 shrivelled up pieces of bacon on. Couldn’t even taste the bacon. All the food was cold. Oatcakes we’re hard. Never ordering again.

A good lunch to be had here, a nice and clean environment. Friendly staff, and pleasant background music playing. As to the meal, I had a sausage & cheese oatcake, followed by a bacon & cheese oatcake; washed down with a mug of tea. The oatcake (not to be confused with a flapjack), was nicely cooked; as it was still soft. Both the bacon and sausage fillings were generous; a quick note regarding the cheese, it was very tasty, but chewy. The tea came with the bag still in, and the waitress didn't mind that I asked for some more milk.

Was looking for a café near the Cathedral. This was perfect. Friendly staff and prompt service. Enjoyed an egg oatcake with a good coffee. Excellent value. Recommended.

This cafe is inexplicably closed on Thursdays, so I came away empty handed (stomached?). Not that it is very good, but that it is very close to the local library.

The food here, though cheap is greasy. They don't stock coke-zero/pepsi-max. So you have to settle for a diet cola :(

Good cafe in stoke town, oakcakes were good quality and managed to take a big office order for oakcakes, all hot and no complaints from staff. Worth a visit if in stoke town as opposed to the standard spoons! Credit to stoke town this cafe.

Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Food was plentiful and lovely. However the toilet was so dark you couldn't actually see it with the door closed and the light on and there was nothing to dry your hands on.

This is the place to go for a decent breakfast, lunch or tea in Stoke. The choice is fantastic. The breakfasts are large, tasty and always come out hot. I can also recommend the pie & chips for lunch - the roasts look decent as well.

Good prices for meals and tasty food. Breakfasts are very good value. Coffees sometimes need a little extra coffee in to taste it but overall not bad. The whole seating area is well below parr and really does need new tables and chairs along with decoration.

Very basic cafe but all the better for that. Yes it's a 'greasy spoon' a bit cramped and a bit frayed around the edges but good basic food and very good value.

Fui con un amigo, me sentí que era ingredientes valye con una etiqueta de precio premium. Nunca comí la mía, muy decepcionante. Me quedaré con Wetherspoons.

This is the place to come if you want a hot oatcake breakfast - delicious and very filling, great value if you get a couple with different fillings and a mug of tea to set you up for the rest of the day.

Pre-beer festival brunch (again) with friends. We all went for the £5.60 'Stoke Breakfast' which consists of mug of tea/coffee, two rounds of toast (or bread & butter), two sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, two eggs, beans, mushrooms and tomato, and chips. To be honest I didn't enjoy it as much as last year, and it didn't seem as cheap all things considered. The 'good bits' were the tea, toast and chips. The 'average bits' were the eggs, mushrooms and tomato. The 'poor bits' were the sausage, bacon, and beans- all low quality.Overall I was left feeling disappointed. Maybe try somewhere else next year? It was busy however and the service was ok.

Called in here with a group of friends before heading up to the potteries beer festival in October to put a good lining on our stomachs! Did the job nicely. Good fry up and plenty of it. Won't win any awards for 'atmosphere' as its a pretty traditional cafe(wouldn't be out of place as an old fashioned lorry stop cafe), not the biggest either. But for reasonably priced English cafe food it does a cracking job!

Great little traditional cafe in Stoke. Food was abundant, fresh and tasty and very well presented! Visited other places in my recent trip but found this great value without any pretentions.

Dropped in for a quick drink whilst walking the dog at the weekend. The staff couldn't do enough, dog bowls, blankets and treats provided for free. Couldn't fault the beer or service, will definitely be returning!

Can't explain how bad it was. At least 15mins to place my order. Waited half an hour for my order by time my order came I had drank my tea. Only ordered a toasted teacake and kids meal. It wasn't even what you would call busy loads of spare table. My grandson fell asleep waiting for his after saying wheres my dinner so slow.
