The host was very accommodating on a busy Friday evening for a table of two. Service was attentive and courteous. We opted to share a collection of appetizers, which were quite tasty. Recommendations would be the broccoli wings with teriyaki and whipped feta mousse.

The food was great, friendly service and value for money too. Would definitely recommend.

Food was stinking, bad cut of steak it was like shoe leather and food was cold. Wouldn't go again. Staff was friendly and service was good.

I went there after reading a review saying that you can enjoy a cost-effective course meal, but considering the price, it was definitely cheaper than a course meal. Starter > Main > Dessert costs 25 pounds per person. I ordered rump steak as my main, but it turned out to be rump steak, which has the least fat among beef cuts. Perhaps that's why there was little local savory flavor or rich meat flavor, which was the most disappointing part. The chicken wings I tried as a starter were surprisingly good with the sauce. The broccoli wings my friend ate had a very strong and spicy sauce. I went on a Friday evening, and it seemed like there were a lot of people visiting, including families, couples, friends, etc. I liked the bustling atmosphere.

Brilliant food! Starters were on a weaker side and plating wasn't great however steaks were absolute delight! We got a massive piece of steak on a stone, chunky fries were delish! Service was amazing, servers were so lovely to chat to! Really enjoyed it and would come back again but only for main, hence taking one star away. Cocktails (berry mojito) were so good and strong! Thank you!

Really fancied a steak as I was waiting for the 22:30 ferry out of Belfast. Went into town and out of all the places to eat I chose this place. There is no menu on the window so you have to go in and ask to see it, that’s when you discover their warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. I was accommodated immediately into a free slot. I asked my waiter to surprise me with me a classic cocktail, was not disappointed by the Old Fashioned. I asked for a steak with a lot of fat on it rather than in it and I asked for it the way I wanted it rather than to be presented on a hot stone. I was not disappointed. The side recommended by my waiter was lovely too, I recommend the Cajun fries. A lovely little meal under £50 while I killed some time.

I absolutely loved this place when I visited Belfast. We had a special birthday and they made such an effort for us and THE FOOD (!) - so so delicious. I normally take so many photos but I gobbled up everything too quickly. The surf and turf slapped. The fries were fresh and I also appreciated the range of sauces. Great vibes. Thanks so much to the lovely waiters and staff, very kind people.

Great food but after seeing their treatment of staff will be boycotting and telling all my international friends never return! I have brought many nationalities for food but never again plus one is a travel food critic! Treating staff is priority one!

Started out well 1st impressions were good but service was extremely slow and my friends steak was served without the chips which arrived when meat eaten.

Delicious meat but lack of ventilation makes it too smoky and smeelly.

If the steaks were good the service was excellent, from Patrick our host to Jack one of our servers it was a great experience first class class all round.

Steak was chewy but nice flavour to it and the pepper sauce. Everything is preseasoned - I would have liked pepper for my cod and vinegar for the plain chips we were sharing. Service is quick and friendly but basic - didn’t get a replacement napkin after messy starter and given wrong wine. As we had ordered the only Italian wine on the menu, don’t know how this could happen and the bland French wine we got was £11 dearer! Will always check in future, never happened to me before. Restaurant is very noisy, not just due to being busy, acoustics are bad and we struggled to hear each other. Man at next table had same problem and shouted his conversation which didn’t help. Not cheap and quite basic.

I'm giving 5 stars because every aspect of our dining experience was fantastic! This is the third time we've visited the restaurant and tonight was for my dad's 60th birthday. Upon arrival the atmosphere the atmosphere was very warm and cozy. We ordered 3 fillet steaks and a sea bass, the food was amazing and it was a great experience with the hot stone being able to cook it to our own preference. Other than the food and atmosphere the service just made our night, the staff just went above and beyond to mark the occasion of my dad's birthday which he really appreciated. We will definitely be back again, thank you!!

Busy restaurant I had a booking but I still wait half an hour and that’s very very bad experience in my holiday in Belfast . But food is very nice .

For the price, the place is not worth it. The bar where we had to wait for 1 hour was covered of dirty glasses. The meat we ordered was not what we received, the size was half the expected and the type of meat was significantly worse (we ordered sirloin and received a half centimeter thick steak, too cooked). When we complained they said we were wrong but that we were not the first ones complaining.

Visited Stix and Stones tonight with my mum, and while the welcome was fantastic, the experience quickly went downhill. We were greeted warmly and made to feel like we were in for a real treat. The service was quick and friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The steaks were incredibly disappointing—far from the quality we expected. Not only were they overly fatty, but they were also full of gristle. I’ve honestly had better steaks from a supermarket. Really really poor from what is supposed to be a steak restaurant and do not recommend. I definitely won’t be back.

Food was top notch. Ordered sirloin steak and came out on heating stone so we could individually finish cooking. Champs were great. Mussels were also a big hit. Pre-theatre menu available. Close to City Centre

Every time again, everything was perfect

We went to Stix and stones one Saturday afternoon. The staff were pleasant enough, the table we were put was very cramped, to get in and out of. Also to put the plates and sides when they arrived. The steaks were average at best, the sides likewise, the chips had a blob of mayonnaise which I thought was strange. We thought the meal was grossly overpriced, we didn’t have starter, sweet, or coffees. We did have one bottle of beer, which brought the bill in not much shy at £90. Would we return definitely not.

Enjoyed the crab toast starter, steak was good quality however the stone went cold within about ten minutes and ended up eating a lot of the steak blue. Partner had to reorder her drink as the first waitress did not bring drink over. Quite pricey for what it is.

We even tried to book and the website said that our card wasn’t being accepted. So we thought there shouldn’t be a problem since their website was showing full availability. So just be advised for future occasions and save your time. Staff could have been nicer as we showed them the transaction on our card and they didn’t even acknowledge just keep saying they were fully booked.

Was looking forward to trying this place although unlikely to ever go back. Made a reservation on the website receiving an error message. Despite providing all our information it would not accept our booking. Seeing that there were multiple different time slots available we decided to attend as a walk in to which we were rudely turned away by the staff (and manager). After having driven over an hour to attend the restaurant, explaining and showing what had happened with our booking (an error on their site) it is extremely disappointing how the staff handled this situation. No effort was made to accommodate us or apologise for this. I would expect so much better from restaurant rated as highly.

Wow what a dinner! We've booked a table before visiting. Very busy restaurant - above all on a friday evening. I read so many reviews about the food before visiting and they're really true - until now it's been the best steak I've ever eaten! Friendly and fast service, good drinks and delicious food. We will come back for sure!

Went for pre show food. Went early was very busy, but no problems to the staff who handled it with ease. Would recommend trying it but definitly food was brilliant. 👍🏻👍🏻

We had a lovely night here recently. The food was wonderful, loved tailoring our steaks temperature - a very unique dining experience. The feta appetizer was quite good, and the salad and wine complimented nicely. The dessert was okay, and service was positive overall, but our ‘runner’ with the plates and steaks was immensely curt.

Ordered steak and chips, both were cold and had to be remade. Staff were borderline incompetent, asking to take drink order before we were given a drinks menu. Desserts were comped, but wouldn't go back

Came here for dinner and it was just okay. Had to cook our steak(which was a first but it was fun). Quite pricey and the food wasn’t so great.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was exceptional and we enjoyed cooking the steak on the stone. The duck was flavorful as were the desserts.

Good selection for vegetarians and seafood options. Cajun Prawns were good, but lacked flavour. Service was excellent.

A lovely restaurant, myself and my partner were here for his birthday. He had crab on toast and I had the chicken wings, both were really tasty. We then had the chateaubriande, cooked ourselves on the hotstone, it's definitely an experience, but if i was coming back i would 100% get the kitchen to cook it..it took away from being able to totally enjoy it, just felt we were concentrating on cooking the steak rather than enjoying the meal, but the steak and sides were all beautiful. Would love to visit again next time we're in Belfast. Staff were lovely too.

Good location and has a great vibe. Staff and friendly and attentive. Good selection of food and wine of offer. We all had the squid to start which was overcooked and had far too much batter. However, i guess the signature disk is the steak on a stone which was very nice. If booking I would suggest recommending a table away from the toilets as it got a bit annoying

Lovely meal,limited space on the tables,staff friendly albeit had to ask a couple of times for items,well worth a visit as the meal was excellent.

Atmosphere is good and the service good as well. We arrived at 8,45 pm and we wait almost 50 minutes to be served. The 10oz ribeye wasn’t rare as requested but much more cooked. For the price paid, it isn’t good value for money.

Stix and stones have always, in my opinion, had good food, friendly staff with a nice ambience. I've always enjoyed my visits to the restaurant and have had a great relationship with the serving staff but as the old saying goes a relationship can't only be judged on the good times but also the not so good times. My last visit was on a Sunday evening, and we ordered from the main menu. One steak on the stone with mash and pepper sauce , duck with veg and potatoes and chicken goujons, and chips for my 9 year old all washed down with a glass of merlot, coke and a diluted orange. Everything was tasty and served with a smile by our young gentleman waiter. It was when we ordered dessert that everything went a little pear-shaped. There was ice cream for my 9 year old and a shared sticky toffee pudding for the adults on the very first mouthful I immediatly felt something unusual and spat the pudding out to discover the 3 ince long piece of thin metal that I had been chewing within the pudding. I brought the situation to the attention of the maitre-de who informed me that the kitchen had been cleaning with new scouring brushes and it had probably came from that, he apologised offered us a new serving of sticky toffee pudding and a complimentary glass of wine i of coursedeclinedthe pudding which in my opinion should have been 86ed as the whole batch could have been contaminated. It was only after a lengthy discussion that he took my meal (the duck) a small coke and a diluted orange from my bill. I ended up paying for my partner and my sons meals, with both convinced that they have swallowed metal and my 9 year old insisting that he is removing chicken goujons from his already very limited diet.

Loved the experience of this restaurant. Staff were very informative and knowledgeable about the meat on the menu. So fun to cook your steak how you like it at the table. Priced just right for what you get. Drinks menu very good with lots of choice including cocktails which I would highly recommend. Food was also as stated and very tasty. Highly recommend for meat eater however they do accommodate non meat eaters.

Excellent stick and restaurant ambience. Not cheap, but get what you pay for, and all 3 courses were top quality and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. we really enjoyed thank you, and we will definitely be back again

Fantastic service and great food

Very average steakhouse. You’re mainly paying for the experience to grill your cut on a hot stone. The meat itself is very medicore, and so is the rest of the food. I had podrano peppers that were over cooked, and my side of fried onions and seasonal greens were not cooked well at all. If you’re going to pay for a steakhouse, I might consider researching other options.

Nice setting, great server, and delicious food. We had steak and fish dishes and both were great. My fillet was excellent and finishing it on the hot-stone was a nice touch. £££ but worth it.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. Simply delicious, and I loved the idea of the hot stone, you can "regulate" your own meat and make it exactly the way you want.

From the very start Host was brilliant very informative and welcoming menu is outstanding and fairly priced starters chicken wings were brilliant for mains the steak options were amazing quality of steak was a 10/10 for me staff were great with regular check backs i would rate it all 10/10 will be back in near future :)

They present the meat on a hot stone. The meat is aged and rested, beautiful and delicious. The sauces are great. Desserts are also nice. We also enjoyed local beers. But the atmosphere of the restaurant was not good. It should be ventilated. A heavy odor spoils you and afterwards your clothes and hair smell like pot.

The food is good but not great. The service is fairly slow and inattentive. There are a bunch of employees running around but it took forever to get our steak and the "oh you asked for extra bread but we don't have that in the system so I charged you for some random thing" really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Absolutely gorgeous food. The steak was melt in your mouth & so full of flavour it didn’t even need the pepper sauce we’d ordered, although it was lovely on the champ 😋 The prawns were so fresh & gorgeous. I was dubious about trying the lemon & thyme crème brûlée but it was the best I’ve ever tasted. Couldn’t fault one single thing. The staff were incredibly friendly & chatted & no question was too silly. After a full days shift they were as fresh & bright & had time to make you feel welcome & special. Wee Ed Sheeran & max the polish guy are an asset to that company for sure. Pay them a visit if you’re looking a real special treat, we’ll certainly be back 😋 A real review from a real person who has in no way been asked to do this. Honestly you’ll enjoy!

Wow and Wow again, food amazing, atmosphere was great and the service from 2 guys was totally outstanding, even in the midst of a busy house they took the time to explain menu with passion and even made us feel we were the only people in the restaurant

An excellent choice for steak The soup and the squid as starter were tasty and full of flavor. The quality of the meat is excellent. The steak is brought to the table seared on hot stone. The service was very good by John and team. Highly Recommend
