Fantastic find. Service was excellent. Cocktails and Malbec were delicious. Steak was superb and we all enjoyed cooking it on our own hot stone. Great sides and good value. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food. Everyone single one of us at the table agreed (and there was 8 of us!). A little pricey but it was all so tasty. House red and white were both delicious, as were the cocktails. Would definitely return, when in Belfast again.

Great steak great place. Served by Emily. Filet steak was amazing. Olson school bread and butter pudding was very nice in deed.

This restaurant is star quality. The food is amazing. We had a fantastic experience at this place, which we discovered through reviews while visiting from Boston. The cod dish was the best we've ever tasted! The service, ambiance, and cocktails were all outstanding. This is definitely a solid pick!

8oz fillet steak on the stone was amazing. Good atmosphere and service was spot on. Cost in mid range but definitely a must to try out and was well worth it.

We are on a weekend trip visiting Belfast for the first time and came here for dinner with friends last night for my boyfriend’s birthday. Amazing food, great experience and our host Jack went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Highly recommended, Thanks for having us! Would definitely return when we visit again

Food is amazing. Steaks are finest quality but you are paying for the experience of the hot stone.

We booked a table for two, and our experience was that we would not back for a second time. Disappointed. Only steak was tasty, sea bass not worth to order, left £97 for a 2 hr dinner, and left a restaurant with red runny eyes as so smoke inside ,staff not welcoming, after visiting usual is respect to say thank you for customers, if you want a drink ,you can ask,wave, whatever, maybe you will be lucky. I would not back 😒

amazing staff, feta mousse is great. The steak is too much effort being from the stone, cutting it was a task i could do at home. The peppered sauce is not good and the portion size of any sides were so small. We both left hungry.

This steak is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Served on a hot stone, it was sizzling and captivating. The seasoning was absolutely spot on, and the waiter was impressive and very helpful. I had a stunning experience at Stix Stone Center. This was truly a remarkable dining experience for me and friend.

Patrick is THE man... Because... We had NOT made a reservation with 7 people on December 19, but we were allowed to return after an hour - "Christmas market"... What we ate then was absolutely HEAVENLY! We all ordered delicious, suuuuper delicious meat on a gigantic black hot stone... Wow! Sooo delicious... Matched wines were TOP! Side dishes were TOP... Everything was TOP! We love Patrick 😋

Try out Stix and stones(there not breaking my bones). Great service and atmosphere, lovely setting. Having turkey, honey and mustard roast ham. Delicious.

Unexpected nite out, last minute didn't dissapoint ,would definitely be back

The meat and food in here was absolutely good. I booked a table for Christmas dinner and the steak we had was cooked to right temperature. The Turkey was lovely and it was a cosy wintery Christmasy atmosphere. To top it off, the snowman dessert was so sweet and the staff were nice to talk to. Would go back again. 👍🏻

If it wasn't for the staff, who I thought were excellent it would be 1-2 star. Not for me I thought it was overpriced and the food was ok, but nothing special. As I say, you could not fault the staff, patient, helpful and chatty. Really really excellent so the rating is not a reflection on them. Just a pity about the food, I found that I have had better steaks at cheaper prices that were cooked and tasted better. I know sometimes it's down to the actual steak. But then those with me said the same about their steaks. I was looking forward to the meal, try it you might enjoy it, just not for me.

I recently dined at, Stix and Stones City Centre and had an outstanding experience that I couldn't wait to share! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcomed. Our servers were knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. However, the highlight of our visit was the exceptional service from the manager, Patrick. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect, checking in on us frequently and even talking us through the menu items and so on. His passion for customer service and attention to detail made all the difference.

Steak was clearly pre cooked and had been drying out under a heat lamp. Staff were happy to replace but if you can't cook a steak to order in a steak house, are you sure you're doing it right? Replaced fillet was smaller and still overcooked but I would like to eat on the same day as my dining partner so here we go. It was ok. Staff were hard to get a hold of and I had to walk around to find somebody to pay. Not good, wont be back and can't recommend.

Steaks were fab. Service was top notch and reasonable prices.

Very disappointing meal..steak was tough and clearly precooked. Chips very covered in some form of cheesy blob. Nobody asked how our meal was. Paddy, who showed us to our table said if we had any issues to let him know but was nowhere to be seen. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

My friends & I had a lovely time at this restaurant. Food was absolutely beautiful, staff were very friendly, attentive & helpful, front of house was very welcoming. Thank you for an brilliant experience! We will definitely be back!

I like it here, staff are nice, steaks are beaut. Not fussed on the pepper sauce tho.

The host was very accommodating on a busy Friday evening for a table of two. Service was attentive and courteous. We opted to share a collection of appetizers, which were quite tasty. Recommendations would be the broccoli wings with teriyaki and whipped feta mousse.

One of the few places where I have tried good food in northern Ireland. Excellent beef.

Manager taking staff tips,that enough

I went there after reading a review saying that you can enjoy a cost-effective course meal, but considering the price, it was definitely cheaper than a course meal. Starter > Main > Dessert costs 25 pounds per person. I ordered rump steak as my main, but it turned out to be rump steak, which has the least fat among beef cuts. Perhaps that's why there was little local savory flavor or rich meat flavor, which was the most disappointing part. The chicken wings I tried as a starter were surprisingly good with the sauce. The broccoli wings my friend ate had a very strong and spicy sauce. I went on a Friday evening, and it seemed like there were a lot of people visiting, including families, couples, friends, etc. I liked the bustling atmosphere.

Really fancied a steak as I was waiting for the 22:30 ferry out of Belfast. Went into town and out of all the places to eat I chose this place. There is no menu on the window so you have to go in and ask to see it, that’s when you discover their warm welcome and lovely atmosphere. I was accommodated immediately into a free slot. I asked my waiter to surprise me with me a classic cocktail, was not disappointed by the Old Fashioned. I asked for a steak with a lot of fat on it rather than in it and I asked for it the way I wanted it rather than to be presented on a hot stone. I was not disappointed. The side recommended by my waiter was lovely too, I recommend the Cajun fries. A lovely little meal under £50 while I killed some time.

Brilliant food! Starters were on a weaker side and plating wasn't great however steaks were absolute delight! We got a massive piece of steak on a stone, chunky fries were delish! Service was amazing, servers were so lovely to chat to! Really enjoyed it and would come back again but only for main, hence taking one star away. Cocktails (berry mojito) were so good and strong! I absolutely loved this place when I visited Belfast. We had a special birthday and they made such an effort for us and THE FOOD (!) - so so delicious. I normally take so many photos but I gobbled up everything too quickly. The surf and turf slapped. The fries were fresh and I also appreciated the range of sauces. Great vibes. Thanks so much to the lovely waiters and staff, very kind people.

Great food but after seeing their treatment of staff will be boycotting and telling all my international friends never return! I have brought many nationalities for food but never again plus one is a travel food critic! Treating staff is priority one!

Started out well 1st impressions were good but service was extremely slow and my friends steak was served without the chips which arrived when meat eaten.

Delicious meat but lack of ventilation makes it too smoky and smeelly.

If the steaks were good the service was excellent, from Patrick our host to Jack one of our servers it was a great experience first class class all round.

Steak was chewy but nice flavour to it and the pepper sauce. Everything is preseasoned - I would have liked pepper for my cod and vinegar for the plain chips we were sharing. Service is quick and friendly but basic - didn’t get a replacement napkin after messy starter and given wrong wine. As we had ordered the only Italian wine on the menu, don’t know how this could happen and the bland French wine we got was £11 dearer! Will always check in future, never happened to me before. Restaurant is very noisy, not just due to being busy, acoustics are bad and we struggled to hear each other. Man at next table had same problem and shouted his conversation which didn’t help. Not cheap and quite basic.

I'm giving 5 stars because every aspect of our dining experience was fantastic! This is the third time we've visited the restaurant and tonight was for my dad's 60th birthday. Upon arrival the atmosphere the atmosphere was very warm and cozy. We ordered 3 fillet steaks and a sea bass, the food was amazing and it was a great experience with the hot stone being able to cook it to our own preference. Other than the food and atmosphere the service just made our night, the staff just went above and beyond to mark the occasion of my dad's birthday which he really appreciated. We will definitely be back again, thank you!!

Busy restaurant I had a booking but I still wait half an hour and that’s very very bad experience in my holiday in Belfast . But food is very nice .

Visited Stix and Stones tonight with my mum, and while the welcome was fantastic, the experience quickly went downhill. We were greeted warmly and made to feel like we were in for a real treat. The service was quick and friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The steaks were incredibly disappointing—far from the quality we expected. Not only were they overly fatty, but they were also full of gristle. I’ve honestly had better steaks from a supermarket. Really really poor from what is supposed to be a steak restaurant and do not recommend. I definitely won’t be back.

For the price, the place is not worth it. The bar where we had to wait for 1 hour was covered of dirty glasses. The meat we ordered was not what we received, the size was half the expected and the type of meat was significantly worse (we ordered sirloin and received a half centimeter thick steak, too cooked). When we complained they said we were wrong but that we were not the first ones complaining.

Food was top notch. Ordered sirloin steak and came out on heating stone so we could individually finish cooking. Champs were great. Mussels were also a big hit. Pre-theatre menu available. Close to City Centre

Really good steak, quite possibly ly the best I've had.

We went to Stix and stones one Saturday afternoon. The staff were pleasant enough, the table we were put was very cramped, to get in and out of. Also to put the plates and sides when they arrived. The steaks were average at best, the sides likewise, the chips had a blob of mayonnaise which I thought was strange. We thought the meal was grossly overpriced, we didn’t have starter, sweet, or coffees. We did have one bottle of beer, which brought the bill in not much shy at £90. Would we return definitely not.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try their menu cause after driving for 1hour we were told by their staff they were fully booked when we had tried to book online and it showed full availability through the day. We even tried to book and the website said that our card wasn’t being accepted. So we thought there shouldn’t be a problem since their website was showing full availability. So just be advised for future occasions and save your time. Staff could have been nicer as we showed them the transaction on our card and they didn’t even acknowledge just keep saying they were fully booked.

Was looking forward to trying this place although unlikely to ever go back. Made a reservation on the website receiving an error message. Despite providing all our information it would not accept our booking. Seeing that there were multiple different time slots available we decided to attend as a walk in to which we were rudely turned away by the staff (and manager). After having driven over an hour to attend the restaurant, explaining and showing what had happened with our booking (an error on their site) it is extremely disappointing how the staff handled this situation. No effort was made to accommodate us or apologise for this. I would expect so much better from restaurant rated as highly.

Enjoyed the crab toast starter, steak was good quality however the stone went cold within about ten minutes and ended up eating a lot of the steak blue. Partner had to reorder her drink as the first waitress did not bring drink over. Quite pricey for what it is.

Went for pre show food. Went early was very busy, but no problems to the staff who handled it with ease. Would recommend trying it but definitly food was brilliant. 👍🏻👍🏻

Wow what a dinner! We've booked a table before visiting. Very busy restaurant - above all on a friday evening. I read so many reviews about the food before visiting and they're really true - until now it's been the best steak I've ever eaten! Friendly and fast service, good drinks and delicious food. We will come back for sure!

We had a lovely night here recently. The food was wonderful, loved tailoring our steaks temperature - a very unique dining experience. The feta appetizer was quite good, and the salad and wine complimented nicely. The dessert was okay, and service was positive overall, but our ‘runner’ with the plates and steaks was immensely curt.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was exceptional and we enjoyed cooking the steak on the stone. The duck was flavorful as were the desserts.

A lovely restaurant, myself and my partner were here for his birthday. He had crab on toast and I had the chicken wings, both were really tasty. We then had the chateaubriande, cooked ourselves on the hotstone, it's definitely an experience, but if i was coming back i would 100% get the kitchen to cook it..it took away from being able to totally enjoy it, just felt we were concentrating on cooking the steak rather than enjoying the meal, but the steak and sides were all beautiful. Would love to visit again next time we're in Belfast. Staff were lovely too.

Good location and has a great vibe. Staff and friendly and attentive. Good selection of food and wine of offer. We all had the squid to start which was overcooked and had far too much batter. However, i guess the signature disk is the steak on a stone which was very nice. If booking I would suggest recommending a table away from the toilets as it got a bit annoying

Atmosphere is good and the service good as well. We arrived at 8,45 pm and we wait almost 50 minutes to be served. The 10oz ribeye wasn’t rare as requested but much more cooked. For the price paid, it isn’t good value for money.

Stix and stones have always, in my opinion, had good food, friendly staff with a nice ambience. I've always enjoyed my visits to the restaurant and have had a great relationship with the serving staff but as the old saying goes a relationship can't only be judged on the good times but also the not so good times. My last visit was on a Sunday evening, and we ordered from the main menu. One steak on the stone with mash and pepper sauce , duck with veg and potatoes and chicken goujons, and chips for my 9 year old all washed down with a glass of merlot, coke and a diluted orange. Everything was tasty and served with a smile by our young gentleman waiter. It was when we ordered dessert that everything went a little pear-shaped. There was ice cream for my 9 year old and a shared sticky toffee pudding for the adults on the very first mouthful I immediatly felt something unusual and spat the pudding out to discover the 3 ince long piece of thin metal that I had been chewing within the pudding. I brought the situation to the attention of the maitre-de who informed me that the kitchen had been cleaning with new scouring brushes and it had probably came from that, he apologised offered us a new serving of sticky toffee pudding and a complimentary glass of wine i of coursedeclinedthe pudding which in my opinion should have been 86ed as the whole batch could have been contaminated. It was only after a lengthy discussion that he took my meal (the duck) a small coke and a diluted orange from my bill. I ended up paying for my partner and my sons meals, with both convinced that they have swallowed metal and my 9 year old insisting that he is removing chicken goujons from his already very limited diet.
