This was the first time I've had a Stephens Steak Bridie but not from this outlet. I bought it from the Coop this morning. I have to say that this was quite a disappointment with a bland filling of mostly gristly bits and some chewy meat and pastry not great either. Sorry but won't be buying anything again.

It happens in Stephen's Bakery in Leven: the HACCP hygiene rules seem are not met. I tried to buy a bread and refused when I saw the employee touching the bread with her hands with no protection! I bought a packed cake: an artificial bad taste and the products look very artificial. It was my first time using this chain, it was the last.

Always have a good experience at the drive through. Welcoming and clear at repeating order, asked questions to make sure order was correct. On receiving order manner was very pleasant and appreciative. Visit the drive through regularly and always been dealt with professionally.

Bought 2 x Stephens Steak Bridies from McCalls in Strathmiglo. Very disappointed yet again to find that there is still little or no filling. Only a very thin layer of paste, with no visible meat. Yet again complained to Stephens Customer Service and received the standard response letter and £10 of vouchers. I have now complained 3 times to Stephens with no feed back or results shown. The product continue to disappoint and will eventually lead to reduced sales.

We went here for a cup of tea as it is dog friendly. That was a big plus. However you can only seem to order via the screen opposite the counter and this was not easy with lots of people milling around. We found seats towards the back and the lighting was poor which was probably just as well as it felt slightly grubby. My husband wanted to use the toilet and said it was filthy and certainly the queue of people waiting to use the one toilet would not have allowed a clean. Overall not somewhere I would return to as a parent of a student.

Visited this lunchtime with service users. Food was ok although 2 of the baked potatoes were very small with hardly any filling, the 3 filled rolls all good, no complaints. The issue arose when it came to paying, quite disorganised. The gentleman became visibly stressed, struggled to find the price of most items. We needed individual receipts + as the till didn't print these, they needed to be hand written, he didn't know what to do + when he asked for help he was told "he's busy" + "I've not a clue, sorry", there was a woman standing close by who looked like she could've helped but didn't. I made eye contact a couple of times but she just let him muddle on through. I ended up saying to him to forget about the receipts and I would do them myself on return to work. He was so anxious, really felt for him. He needed support + didn't get any. Wasn't a pleasant experience. I've worked with adults with additional support needs for nearly 20 years + have an autistic stepson. I'm all for places like Sensoriale but please support the staff to be the best that they can be.

Excellent. I wasn't expecting much considering it's a supermarket cafe but my breakfast was perfectly cooked. The hashbrowns and tastie scone where a real highlight. I got the big breakfast and a latte. The cost came to just under £12. Not bad compared to the other cafés in Dunfermline. Ladies who are serving are friendly, polite and very accommodating. The coffee is real, vibe in so comfy and cosy. You forget you are in the middle of the shop. I went during the summer holidays, so the were lot's of lovely families. Only con. The is only two people working in quite a large cafe. The serve is quick still. But they really should have more help. It's within walking distance of the high street and bus station. Overall very please. Will be back very soon.
