Cracking atmosphere and a lot of fun.

Everything you would expect from a Bier Keller style venue. Have been a few times now, brunch on Saturdays, with dancing on the benches afterwards.

Great for cheap drinks in large glasses, dancing on the tables in a must!

This was by a mile the worst food/experience and bottomless brunch I have ever been to. You couldn’t even pay me £25 to ever go again. Had to order your own drinks at the bar for one which were cocktails served in stein sized cups with only 2 shots of alcohol in. It was the first bottomless brunch which has actually sobered me up. The food was diabolical, served in a soggy cardboard box, I asked for no mayo and the burger which was absolutely wet through was lathered in mayo (see pictures). There was only a maximum of 10 peopl in the whole venue at a Taylor swift themed brunch and I have been to livelier funerals. We walked out after 40 minutes and left our untouched food otherwise we’d have got salmonella.

They changed the DJ but on the whole it's good.

We paid £25 for bottomless and it was definitely worth the price! The barman serving us was very welcoming & eager to assist us. Bouncer was lovely as always, probably one of the nicest in town! Shame I can’t say the same about the experience we had afterwards at Billy’s ball pit. Will definitely return to do the brunch again one day :)

People dancing on benchs appears to be the norm here. It is lively but not my kind of atmosphere/music. Definitely more suited to teens.

Owner (I think) who is usually on the door is absolutely brilliant and a complete pleasure to talk to, however some of his suited up bouncers inside are complete w@#&ers and need to get their egos checked. Steins and bar staff are great though. Music not too bad but could do with a mix up. Maybe some different themed nights would do it good

Paid a fiver each to go in. Got hand stamped so could go back in ,left to meet friends , cave man bouncer wouldn't let us back in , will await my £15 refund 🙄

One group of 3 people at the bar and then just me trying to buy 5 steins for another group of lads. Counted 6 people behind the bar that weren't interested in serving us so just had to wait.

You do not cut off a Smith's tune a few seconds in to play Ed Sheeran, ever, even if there are less than 10 people in the joint. Also nothing like an actual beer house, it's just a room with big wooden benches.

Had good fun here, its quite pricey but has a great atmosphere when busy.

Great atmosphere! Wednesdays are such a good night to go drinking with the £1 round they have. Definitely one of my favourite places to go.

Went in while on a night put for our sons 21st birthday. It was certainly lively and quite an eye-opener! £5 entry seemed quite steep to just dance on benches. Different choice of things to drink in plastic Steins. A lot of mopping up of vomit seemed to be going on! The kids loved it but think its a place we would swerve if out on the town again.

such a great atmosphere and overall a place with hella fun vibes. You get to stand and dance on the benches and the music is great, definitely music that everyone can enjoy. stein cocktails can last you for ages too. Staff were so nice, will definitely go again whenever I go into town for a night out!

An enjoyable place, anyone there was having a good time. Drinks were a little expensive for the amount you got. Some songs did repeat, and a few were a bit questionable as for their sing-a-long potential. Overall an enjoyable experience, definitely a place to visit at least once.

Bouncers were awful. Incredibly rude men who were not reassuring at all when our female friend felt endangered. The club was ridiculously protective over who stood on benches versus tables, as if that mattered when it is entirely arbitrary. My friend placed a foot on a table to not fall off and injure himself and he got kicked out. Why let people on the benches when you’re just going to kick them out for placing a foot on the table accidentally. The whole establishment was rude and uninviting. Avoid if you want a good evening

£5 to enter the place is pretty good but watch out for the drink prices as they are quite pricey and add up. I recommend getting a stein to last you your visit if you want a couple drinks. The music there is always great and they have a range of cocktails that taste great. Recommend going there after 22.00 for a more lively atmosphere.

Had a ball of a night in this place! Entry tickets were cheap and the crowd was amazing. Everyone was dancing on the tables. Beer collection was average though.

Attended a corporate charity event. Placed a food order prior to 1900. Event ended at 2130. No food provided. Order checked at 2050 to be told 20 minutes. Left at 2140. Establishment obviously unable to cater for large events (well, ones where they fill the venue). Menu offered was reduced and only a handful of items offered. No excuse for such poor service. Edit to add that the food had not arrived to my colleagues at 2345. I would guess the order was lost & they just didn't care to admit it & resubmit. Appalling.

Great atmosphere, it was a crazy night out, midweek too. Took a whole day to recover, I must be getting too old for all this. 😂😂. But will definitely do it again some day.

Sometimes this place is rammed and other times it's empty! It is over priced would be so much more enjoyable if the drinks were a bit cheaper

Had the best birthday here on Sunday . We booked a table for 12 and laughed from start to finish. Had a fab bratwurst meal, prosecco and was thoroughly entertained. I have the bruising to prove it. Can not wait to come back

great spot for a night out. nice beer, really fun music and overall a really good atmosphere. the only downside is the sharing drinks are a little steep but this is fine as they do taste quite nice.

Don't waste your money. Beer is vile and the food too. The burger buns came out still froze. My friend had put lettuce on her burger, I had not. We sent them back and were promised fresh burgers. My burger came back really hot but with hot lettuce too. They had obviously put it in the microwave, then sent it out to me. So not only did I not get a fresh burger, but someone else's burger at that. We had to ask several times to get the food out to us in the first place, then wish we'd not bothered.

Was a great atmospher but the drinks did not taste very good. Would recommend if you are going purely to get buzzed but not if you want to savour your drink😊😊

The music is great and the drinks are huge but the novelty wears off quickly. The floors can be way too slippy and it can get too hot and stuffy down there especially when it’s busier. Without fail the ladies bathroom is flooded and not a single stall has toilet roll in every time I visit.

Soooo much fun on a night out and i struggle to get tipsy even after a lot to drink but one of their huge cocktails for under 9 pounds and i can actually feel it perfect way to start or end the night 👌🏻

Ah Bierkeller. A fantastic night out with brilliant music. Just prepare to be aching for the next few days and for your shins to look like someone has taken a baseball bat to them. Every time I've been here so far I've enjoyed it.

Really loved the live band and music played there with the great atmosphere. The stein cocktails are really innovative even if the price is a little steep for Sheffield standards. The freshen-up guy was really annoying by the end of the night and consistently asking to have some spray and maybe there should be more money instead going into cleaning the place properly after closing rather than this guy. It has an awful smell at first when you go into there and could do with a better clean.

It's a real novelty and fun bar. It can get a little messy though.

What can I say - we got kicked out of Lloyd’s bar up the road (which is far better) Only place we could get in to for my mates 26th We walk in and it smells like my year 11 boot bag when I’ve been playing in the wet and I forgot to dry them out Beer is ok but the place absolutely stinks Imagine throwing up on yourself then running a marathon and spending 2 weeks in the desert without a wash. Times that by ten and welcome to beer Keller 2 stars given as they sell alcohol

Really love the atmosphere of Bierkeller - everyone's always really friendly and the music is the sort that everyone knows. Great tunes and dancing on the chairs is pretty much all you need. Drink prices are decent as well, £4 for 2 pints of beer (aka a Stein) is pretty darn good. Would definitely recommend for a chill night with your mates. Make sure you respect their rules of no dancing on the tables - nothings worse than that one annoying person who ignores them.

My first time there and I'd absolutely loved it, love the atmosphere!

Now one of my favourite clubs to go to on a Friday night. Cheap entry but the food and drinks are quite expensive. But the music is great, all sing-a-long songs and classics.
