Average food but nice ambience!

Foods average at best, pricey too. You don't get any sides although by reading the menu you are led to believe sides come with your main food item. Nope. You got to pay separately. Ordered medium well x 2. Received it as well done. How poor. Then I'm told we re at fault not them. Still waiting for someone to even bother to reply back to me to the emails I've written more than once to their request to get in touch. Pathetic.

We had the porterhouse steak and lambchops which were absolutely amazing. Great service and halal food too, we definitely recommend this restaurant.

The steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. However, the service was disappointing. The waiters seemed uninterested and inattentive, often busy on their phones. It felt like they didn't want to be there, which affected the overall dining experience.

Been here well over 100 times, always get medium steak or well done and they can do these amazing well. Don't order medium rare or above, they tend to be a little it.

We reserved our table early for my friend birthday.. staffs are friendly and the food wow I will go again and again .. highly recommended

Literally eat this everyday 10/10

The restaurant accommodated a group of around 30 of us (half being children under 11… so very chaotic). Firstly the service was wonderful, they took our orders in batches, everything came out in a timely manner and they actually prioritised bringing the kids meals first which is always a positive. Every meal was a 10/10 as were the drinks, all food came out in a timely manner so we could more or less eat together at the same time! As a big family we always have these struggles, overall service was absolutely amazing and the food as spectacular and on par with more expensive places. Also worth noting very child friendly which is difficult to find in London.

The steak has no flavour whatsoever they just poured sauce on top. The garlic mash was strong but I liked it. The mac n cheese had no flavour either. overall I wouldn't spend so much money on the food here again

Had a booking made earlier in the day and confirmed for 6:30pm for iftaar time. Got to restaurant literally 7 mins late due to traffic and saw my table was given to someone else before me in the queue. Staff first told me that I had no booking and it was not confirmed, only to bring out the ipad which showed my booking and confirmation. Excuse then changed to being told as I was minutes late that there was no table free. Staff member was unprofessional and not courteous (and not willing to accommodate my family to open our fast). Won't be coming back or recommending in the future unfortunately...

Myself and my partner came here last night after being fasting, I saw from the outside that they offered a Ramadan platter deal which looked nice. We went in and were seated almost straight away even though the place was busy! We had then ordered the platter which came out - see pictures… it was absolutely cooked to perfection, the steak was charred nicely and soft inside, the chicken was seasoned beautifully and soft, chicken wings just fell off the bone, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, humour and bread plus salad were all great too plus a basket of pipping hot chips! All for £40! The steak out sauce was also nice too! I would definitely recommend this place if you haven’t been before, I’ll surely be coming back to eat here. Spicy lamb chops were nice but not spicy. The mac and cheese was underseasoned and quite bland. The bubblegum mojito also wasn't great - not much mint, slightly artificial taste.

Whenever I meet up with my friend we also go to the Norbury steakout. The chicken steak with a dip of your choice is excellent. I love the stare dish chicken cheese balls

To be called a steakhouse, they have a long way to go to serve good meats. I was disappointed the first time, the second time, the second time, and a third time. How is it so close to me, every 3 or 4 months I intensify it again but honestly I don't recommend it.

I decided to visit Steakout as a friend recommended going as they had apparently stepped up their steak game, unfortunately I really don’t agree. Visited when it was pretty quiet so thought this may help the quality of the food but it didn’t. The service was pretty good although they mixed up some of the starters and mains, also had to ask a couple times for sauces etc. My main gripe was the food itself. The steak which I ordered medium came well done, the quality of the steak was not great with mostly fat in it and the onion gravy loterry tasted like bistro instant gravy. The dynamite prawns came half covered in sauce and were pretty dry. The chops were also very fatty and not great quality. Unfortunately if you are a real steak lover this please is not great.

Not the best experience at stakeout. Really expected better. The customer service was friendly and nice. But the food was rushed. Chops burnt and tasteless. Steak was overcooked on the outside and raw on the inside. I don’t often do reviews but compelled to write one here. 3 friends paid £85 for New Year’s Eve meal. All three disappointed. The food needs to be far better, honestly. Felt mildly sick late evening. Also sauces were not clean. Positive is, customer service super friendly and toilet facilities very clean. But the food was really poor. Won’t be visiting again.

went for dinner at around 9:40 today but couldn’t dine in because they are closing early and didn’t bother to update online. Tomorrow’s schedule is updated but not today’s which is more misleading. One staff named Akil who’s behaviour and way of talking is rubbish and lacks professionalism, he doesn’t even admit that it’s their fault, instead he blamed us for not calling before, he couldn’t give us any solutions and the way very rude , then another employee came to solve the matter named Hasan, his way of talking was better even though he didn’t have any intention of solving the problem and there were no manager available to help us as well and he’s so confident that he said that We can complain if we want, that means nothing will happen to them anyway, very rude and poor management, was a regular customer but never going there again. Thanks for the best 31st night service towards your valueless customers.

Everything is good about this place except the price.

When I was in my teens, I made an appraisal of how comfortable my life could turn out when I became the age I am now. This meant having the finest Halal Steak (well done) in London. I am content, the closest I came to a sustained happiness when devouring on the delicious 340g piece of finest Fillet Mignon, prime cut if I may add, in pepper sauce earlier. The owner dropped by, it was comforting to see the courteous staff act in the same manner prior to his arrival. The ambience merited some posh postcode in Zone 1 or 2. Reasonable price and free parking was a bonus too.

We had our office dinner recently and sirloin medium with pepper sauce was off the chart. Def worth trying.

I think an earlier reviewer has said something similar but the food was terrible. On entering I had to actually go to the kitchen to alert staff of our presence despite there being a few tables already occupied. In all honesty the food was below par. If you are a steak restaurant you really should know how to cook and serve steak. Serving a medium steak on a sizzling platter means that after a few minutes it is no longer a medium steak but a well done one. It also needs to be rested. The steak was chewy and had an unacceptable amount of gristle. The chicken breast had the distinct honour of being completely tasteless even with BBQ sauce. The sides were poor quality. The waiter who served us was ok but the person who we complained to about the food was was defensive and slightly patronising. Again it took us a while to mention the poor quality food simply because everyone was in the back. Poor experience and cannot recommend. There better places elsewhere.

Overpriced, pictures misleading. £15 for a basic steak without fries? Garlic sauce is very watery. I won't be ordering again.

I can recommend only this restaurant in Norbury 💯, they have a really good steak, and the atmosphere is good, thank you guys you made a good night for me and my family.

Better than a Harvester steak, not as good as a Miller & Carter one

Ordered 2 steaks which were cooked nicely, unfortunately the sides were terrible. Ordered dirty fries , the fries were old and reheated , the buffalo wings were way overcooked and hard. Probably wouldn't go again , the young lad at the till was abit cheeky and asked to pay a tip which I thought was quite rude.

Always the perfect food with the perfect service and staff. We had stake buffalo wings with coleslaw. Only thing would make it even better is some alcohol. However I can accept there being no alcohol, because everything else is so good. Our waiter today was Mohammed # WW = wicked waiter 🥰

It was actually really nice here, I do however recommend they add service charge to the bill as it does seem a bit awkward when trying to find out how much to give at the end. Plus also saves the hassle of giving under/over a certain percentage.

Brilliant steakhouse! There are so many steak and non steak options, including vegetarian. Good range of appetisers, drinks, and sides. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The atmosphere was laid back, and the food was too good. I thoroughly recommend this steakhouse when in Norbury.

A perfect haven for meat lover has to be a steak house. Online search for a halal steak place in London found us heading to Norbury to try Steakout. A short walk from Norbury train station brought us to this place teeming with people. We ordered a rib eye with pepper sauce and sides of spicy fries and a T bone with spicy hot sauce. Absolutely loved the steak, cooked just like we wanted ( one medium rare and the other one medium), with wonderful flavors , succulent meat and the aroma itself would make anyone hungry. The only drawback ( which I feel is a major one) was that the steaks did not come with accompaniments like sauteed vegetables and carbs ( mashed potato or fries) . You could buy it separately. But considering this to be a steak outlet and the prices for the steaks itself I was definitely expecting it to come as a proper platter. That's the reason of taking that 1⭐ away. #halalfood #steak @the_tastebud_trail

My local go to for a steak fix. It's Halal. Food is always fresh and tasty, love the steakout spice they use on their steaks and when it comes out sizzling. Service is always on point too. Never any complaints

We were a large group of 12, celebrating a birthday. They were happy for us to bring our own cake. We were impressed by the excellent customer service and professionalism of all the waiting staff. The food came out very quickly and all together. The starters and mains were delicious. The drinks were lovely, although a bit pricey, and they didn’t have any of the desserts on the menu. We would recommend Norbury restaurant. Best to book a table in advance if going on a weekend as it was very crowded.

We have been meaning to pop by to this local venue for some time now and, we were not disappointed. Monday Deal is amazing value for money. The meat was amazing the staff super helpful and friendly. Will come back shortly

Loved the service but the food was below what I expected. The steak was fine and cooked just how I asked but the onion rings that I've ordered were really subpar, the coating was not tasty and was struggling to stick to the onion ring.

I used to enjoy Steakout. The food was good quality. In the last year the prices have gone up, understandably. However in my opinion the quality has gone down. When I visited a week ago, I felt the quality of the meat was subpar to put it politely. When I fed back to the waiter he was very defensive. Also I would add that the steaks should be rested before coming out of the kitchen. I appreciate that serving the steak on a sizzling platter is part of the theatrical show but if you are advertising yourself as a premium steak restaurant I think you need to reconsider this. You did do it at some point in the past but you've since returned to the sizzling platter. To reiterate, I've enjoyed my meal in Steakout on previous occasions but my last experience was enough for me not to want to visit again.

Take the wife here whenever I can for lunch, the lunch time deal & food is exquisite!!

I had placed an order via Uber Eats today. The delivery driver supposedly delivered to my house, but when I received a photo of 'my house' the door is not my home. Did not even attempt to call me to check if I received the order. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Hope whomever received my food is enjoying a free dinner on me!!! The people at steakout, Ronny especially was not helpful, did not try to resolve the issue, was told to call Uber Eats and the number provided does not even connect the call. Very unhappy with the overall experience 😕 David the driver, do your job properly!!!! (I did not want to leave a bad review for Steakout but maybe for future purposes to not use Uber Eats company as this will impact Steakout customers).

Visited Steakout Norbury on a busy Eid weekend with wife and son. Our order was severely delayed and had to remind the staff about the order. Other diners who placed food after got theirs before us and this is where the frustration began especially with the young child. However Hasan (staff) stepped in, took over the responsibility and ensured we received quality service. He went an extra mile and exceeded our expectations!! Would definitely visit the eatery again - thanks to Hassan

The food was prepared by Chech Jimmy, and we literally had no complaint at all. From fries, Mojito, dirty fries, everything was mouthwatering and delightfully delicious. We will be calling sooner and thank you for making our day.
