Honestly can't fault this place made us all feel welcome,atmosphere was brilliant there was 13 of us and we all had a laugh with the staff.the food was brilliant 10 out of 10 thankyou for making the occasion even better would highly recommend and will definitely be back

We booked a table for four, upon entering it was a small place and we were sat by the door - which when opened was freezing cold (not the owners fault, it was -1 and they had a heater to eliminate as much as they could) We were greeted and immediately had a great rapport with the lady who looked after us - ahe was super helpful with our orders and questions - *large means double meat* etc.... our steaks were excellent.. medium rare was like butter - I am so surprised at the quality for the price - forget miller and carter - this is the steak place to go - thanks, we had a great meal.

Been this evening for my brother in laws birthday lovely food great service really looked after us thank you very much!

From the outside you could easily drive past or not see it , but once in ,staff very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a rare t-bone and a medium fillet steak , and both where cooked to perfection. Beautiful food , good value , well presented, and better fillet steak than Miller & Carter .. A No frills establishment but would Definitely recommend this restaurant

Came last night party of 4 food was amazing steak was so tender and tasted so good will be returning soon you guys do an amazing job there.

We had two mixed grills and a full rack of ribs delivers tonight. Cooked to perfection and more then enough per portion! Highly recommended 👍👍

Well where do I begin … called to order my elderly parents 2 Sunday dinner delivery and had an attitude from the start Because I said I think there post code is … he said first of all get the correct post code and call us back I was holding up a very busy line! I work in customer care and would never speak to a paying customer in this way … anyway dinners ordered mom called me saying we can’t eat this the meat so tough we can’t cut it the potatoes arnt cooked neither are the peas the only thing we ate was the roasters and carrots now bear in mind my dad has dementia’s so because he was hungry had ate a couple .. so I called them back to complain about them not being cooked had a stinking attitude from him saying there’s nothing wrong with the dinners! Mate it’s still in the box uneaten he wasn’t going to refund them 😡 £24 for inedible food and firmly told me NOT TO BOTHER-ORDERING AGAIN THIS IS THE CHEFS ATTITUDE i only hope no other elderly parents get the same inappropriate service anyway in the end delivery driver collected the uneaten food and refunded …to whoever I delt with get yourself to customer service lessons this is not how you deal with a complaint! NOT ONCE WAS I RUDE TO YOU SO DONT BE RUDE TO ME!

Most definitely one of the best, tenderest, tasty steaks i have had. Great service, reasonable price. Great music, not too loud. You can still have a conversation. I would highly recommend

Very busy when we visited tonight. lady was run off her feet but was fantastic food was excellant steaks cooked to perfection

I ate here recently with my family and I have to be honest and say the food was terrible. The chips were so bad. Peas were not much better. It was like we were given the last of the day, which is a shame as we spent a lot of money and every meal should be given the same attention. Drinks were fine. Music was good. Sorry to say it but I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Me and my family have been here many times now and it has always been exceptional! The food is always cooked to perfection and some of the best steak you can get. Portions are very generous and nothing is too much trouble. If you’re looking for great food and a full belly I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Food and drinks were stunning! Lovely atmosphere, staff are super friendly and nothing is too much. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get and for the quality of the food. Will be back again soon!

Food was lovely, and everyone in a party of 6 cleared their plates. Steaks were cooked to everyone's liking. Friendly staff willing to go out their way, sing happy birthday and bring out a cake. Only criticism would be the decor that needs a little TLC and the cupboard / storage area that needs clearing out or a door putting on it, but that doesn't distract from the food and friendly staff. Wow recommend 👌

Walked into the restaurant in the search of a good meal, definitely exceed my expectations, good quality food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere it is a small place with limited places so you better book before you walk in, big portions and a really good value for money definitely will return there to give it a try to the Tomahawk steak as this time we had something different. Came across this place by chance on the internet. Great little place with a good selection of beers and spirits. My T-Bone was very nice as was the other halfs mixed grill.b Highly recommend you give it a try!

Nice place and atmosphere. Food lovely had a mixture. Steaks, lamb and burger. Worth a visit. Slightly expensive in comparison to other venues. Beware CASH only which wasn't the case at the last visit

1st time visit 11th Aug for our anniversary, lovely meal, nice and quiet, even got given a bottle of proseco for our anniversary.... we gave a very good tip!!!

The best steak/mixed grill you will find for miles. Staff are amazing and welcoming, Literally nothing compares. Great value for money to. Cannot rate it highly enough, this will be a weekly visit.

The young lady serving us was very pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. Meat is sourced from Hill's family butchers in Walsall, and is of a very high quality. Wine is VERY reasonably priced, a bottle of Hardy's Shiraz was just £12.95. A complimentary bottle of birthday Prosecco was presented to me which was a nice touch and good PR. Not a 'full night out' venue, but nice for an early evening Steak. To offer a constructive criticism: a little more finesse with food presentation would just add something, I feel.

Don’t have high chairs for small children 😕😕 and have chosen to edit the review due to the response of the owner…. I have in fact visited the restaurant several times and wanted to visit this time with my family. I was told on the phone that “we haven’t got high chairs for children”. Nothing was said about them being stolen…..

Got to say we were really disappointed. We went with friends at my suggestion last weekend. We arrived fifteen minutes early and were seated only one other table was occupied. Then exactly when our table was booked for our friends joined us. By this point two other couples had arrived and were seated. The young lady who was serving brought us friends their drink orders. Then came straight back and asked for our meal order. I asked if she could please give us FIVE minutes. She went away and immediately came back to say " if we didn't order NOW we would lose our slot" . Feeling annoyed and embarrassed we all just picked something from the menu. Let me point out.,the other three tables all had their food at this point and we were the only other table in the restaurant. The food came it okay but honestly I've had much better at Wetherspoons. Four people, two drinks each and just main courses £120. Very disappointed and we would definitely not go back.

Booked for family meal based on a friend's recommendation...we were not disappointed!! Food was amazing, prices are reasonable and the service was friendly. Cannot believe we had not been before now, will definitely be back! I also got gifted a birthday bottle of fizz which was very generous. Thanks guys!!

Steak was amazing, staff were very friendly. Place is not very big, a bit different, like an American diner, happy days! 60s style rock and roll played. Service is spot on.

Went here for the first time for my birthday. I cannot fault it one bit. The food was excellent, I had the fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making the night a fantastic birthday. I will definitely be visiting here again to try the rest of their menu

Superb food at great value . I had the t bone (medium rare ) , cooked to perfection, and served with the hottest chips , excellent mushrooms, grilled tomato and peas . A peppercorn sauce complimented the food perfectly. Daughter stated the fillet was”the best steak I’ve ever had”. Service attentive but not intrusive, exactly how it should be . I’m glad we booked as the Restraunt was full . We will be back …

Definitely a diamond in the rough! Happrned to stumble upon it whilst on the drive back home up North! Excellent food, steak was cooked to perfection, didn't even get that from a top steakhouse a few weeks ago!

Booked a table of nine for my daughter's twenty first, all meals were great quality and hot. Service was exceptional. Will definitely visit again.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this place, especially given the location. However, the food was fabulous. I had a tomahawk steak & hubby had the mixed grill. Cooked to perfection, plenty of it & so reasonably priced! We had no room for desserts but they looked great along with the cocktails & milkshakes. Will be returning with our little lad next time, can't wait!

Quality steaks. Perfect fillet steak on Fillet Friday reduced price £11.99. Their own special burger is to be recommended too. Draught Sharps Atlantic IPA and Carling at reasonable prices. Phoned and booked the table on the night. Friendly atmosphere.

I regularly travel to London for work so I’m always looking for a good steak place locally in Walsall, and I have just found this gem of a place! I’m happy to pay whatever for a decent steak but this place has just topped many of the so called up market places. Gauchos and Miller and Carter have not served me a better steak than I have had here. Thanks guys top service

Decent place service was good but you can tell they are still learning , T-bone steak was well nice - I wouldn’t order the chicken wings I ate them however with pepper sauce , prices are reasonable I did enjoy but would wait a while before visiting again due to improvements in time

First time back since visiting soon after the place opened when that experience was average … completely different in last visit when service, friendliness & food were excellent …. best fillet steak meal I’ve had in years & great value at £11.99 on a Friday … & to top it off our party of 6 were gifted with a bottle of Prosecco for our special meet up … will definitely be returning

From arrival to leaving this place was just great.We both had prawn cocktail to start, and it tasted ocean fresh with a lovely crispy salad and freshly toasted bread. I know prawn cocktail can seem dated but give this a go and you’ll change your mind. Main course was fillet steak. With no exaggeration probably the best steak I’ve eaten.Got chatting to the owner later who could name the local farm that supplied the grass-fed meat. There’s obviously something to be said for sourcing your ingredient from trusted local suppliers. We’ll be back before too long and next time we’ll take friends.

Was so surprised, tucked away in a little street on a small bank of shops sits an unassuming steak house. Comfortable, well lit, great music and attentive staff made it good.The drinks were very well priced as was the food. Excellent sized portions and cooked perfectly there really was nothing to complain about at all. Can not rate it high enough and will certainly be returning again.
