Soul night is on once a month,a new thing and its free! I booked a table for 2 with my partner on 13th Jan to eat dinner there 1st. The venue is really nice and refreshing to see. A real community hub for families, friends, solo, cyclists, whatever. They cater for a wide range. A very brave and welcome idea for the old building in this built up area, so glad it's not more flats etc. I ate cauil mac cheese with pulled pork added, it was lovely and filling. The soul music was live and the singer Yemi bolatiwa was superb offering 1st class vocals accompanied by a couple of musicians. It was a nice relaxing vibe and I would certainly recommend this place any time of day or evening. Staff are polite, quick and well mannered. Long may this place stay.

Popped in for lunch. So pleased to see the place so busy. We'd only ever been before for a few beers in the evening . Opted just to have some of the small side dishes to share. Hummus with pesto absolutely spot on, served with delish crusty bread, it was advertised as being with pitta bread. The lovely woman serving apologised and gave us a bowl of fries as compensation. Absolutely no need but a nice touch. Sticky chipolatas great quality Simple kale and apple salad with a scrumpy dressing(would love the recipe). All in all great food, very good value and super staff Thanks

Delicious food but the evening was totally spoilt by the blaring, bass heavy music. Awful. I was out with friends to chat and catch up. It was impossible to have a conversation.

Absolutely fantastic that this historic building has been saces. We went for our wedding anniversary. Food was very good. Staff helpful and friendly. We attended for the special Wed 50% off offer. So VfM. One issue - so Station South please note - the music is played far too LOUDLY. We could not easily speak. The best parts were when the music stopped. The chatter of the other customers was great. So, please, please, turn the music volume down. Roy

Based on their website which said 7.00 last good orders we walked around 2 miles to arrive at 6.30 for a meal. We were told that they now closed earlier but no hint of an apology so we went home hungry. Not sure we will give them the chance again.
