Starbucks Coffee Shop in Winchester

This place is my favourite because all the staff are lovely and helpful, i go through the drive through at least once a day to get my one shot latte and sometimes with a friend i sit in and the latte is amazing

Me and my partner thought we’d try out the new gosport drive through, as we usually go to the Cosham or Whiteley Starbucks. Paninis were great and staff very friendly, but my Chai tea latte was massively disappointing, didn’t bother going back as we were already on the road back to Fareham, it just tasted like warm sweet milk, no chai tea taste at all. Training is definitely needed on this drink. All the other stores make it spicy and sweet as it should be. Unfortunately we’ll be sticking with Cosham/Whiteley.

The drink was not good cream of sandwiches should be hot but cold so will not be going to a Starbuck in gosport again and also staff getting shouted at in front of customer s so

Queued for 10 minutes to only find out when ordering that they had no coffee. Were only offering hot chocolate or tea. Grumpy staff offered no explanation why people had to que for 10 minutes to find out no coffee available. At least KFC had the decency to close when they ran out of chicken. Would get a zero review if trip advisor allowed. Also if you do go there look up above all the service counters at all the cob webs....surely cant be hygienic.

There are many starbucks - what made this one a bit special , was the attitude and style of the staff. Very refreshing

Always the best frappe, service well depends who's on, some of the staff are excellent, but some need a little more training in customer service.

I love Starbucks but I do feel that the designers got this one quite wrong! It feels more like a canteen with the concrete floor and canteen style seating. If it wasn’t for the great staff and coffee I think I’d give this one a miss.

My first impression was one of a premise that needed a good clean and some remedial work and painting. Surprised that a national chain should let this branch look the way it did. In their defence it was Bank Holiday Sunday and presumably they had been busy but it looked tired, worn and in places dirty. The three counter staff appeared to be struggling to serve the queue of waiting customers. Meanwhile in several places used cups etc needed clearing and spillages mopped up. Not impressed with state of gents toilet.

I sometimes go here for a coffee in the AM depending on where I'm staying for the week ... The staff are friendly and the building is well maintained.

New unit, bright clean, has a bathroom, plenty of siting inside and out. staff are young and very engaging, had a chat about what to do at the centre enjoy

Such a money-grabbing, overpriced, low moral company. The staff were not friendly and slow. How people can charge over £3 for a plain coffee is surreal..

Stopped here en route home on Sunday 15th August, had a sausage bap and a 4 cheese sandwich. Waited 8 minutes for a latte and a further 10 minutes for the warmed up food, the sausage bap was like cardboard and the cheese sandwich soggy, not a nice experience at all. Reluctant to go back ever again.

This coffee shop has real character and lots of charming features with lots on offer and is the best coffee shop in the shopping centre.

Algunos miembros del personal son geniales. El café es estándar, así que supongo que sabes lo que te vas a encontrar. Yo personalmente prefiero el sabor de otros, pero como he dicho su ubicación ubicación ubicación. Como otros comentarios aquí prefiero el aspecto y el ambiente antiguo Starbucks, este es un poco demasiado amplia en cuanto a altura y usted pierde ambiente. Mi principal crítica con la mayoría de las tiendas de café es la música es generalmente demasiado ruidoso, lo cual hace difícil reuniones.

if you want to sit and relax then this is a good place, coffee is a bit OTT but nice place. You sit in and don't feel rushed.

Popped in for a drink with my daughter at 4.45 on a Friday eve

The staff were friendly but the decor was very poor, it was like a factory setting with no atmosphere, not like the usual Starbucks.

I visited this Starbucks on a Sunday morning, just after the opening time, with my daughter and granddaughter. The queue was already 5 deep and we waited over 15 minutes to be served. I ordered the Honey and Almond hot chocolate and my daughter the Egg nog latte. We also ordered food which needed toasting. We sat on the sofas, which tended to be on the low side but were more comfortable than the wooded chairs which were also available in an area resembling a school canteen. We waited another 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready and then another 5 for the food! My cheese and ham croissant and my daughter's cheese and mushroom toastie were pleasant enough but not so the drinks. My hot chocolate was alright but left a very unpleasant after taste which I could only attribute to the Christmas blend coffee. My daughters egg nog latte was nothing short of vile! It's overriding flavour was raw egg with no hint of any type of brandy or other type of alcohol. By the time we had finished, the queue was out of the door with at least 15 people waiting. This problem was caused solely by a serious lack of staff. The management must realise that if they are going to open before their competitors they will get lots of customers and this needs the manpower to cope with the high demand. All in all, this was a very disappointing visit and we will not be returning.

Bright and cheery staff with the usual high quality Starbucks offerings in a smart modern environment.

What can I say, it is what it is. The coffee is good with a decent selection of snacks. The chairs however are uncomfortable being standard solid wood with no cushioning unless you happen to get a bench against the wall. This needs to be changed as you would be more likely to spend more time there if your backside wasn't numb! !

The experience was just the same as any other Starbucks, a great choice of coffees with efficient service.Always a bit overpriced but you know what you are getting.

Stopped off for a pastry and coffee. We were walking the dog on a hot day. Pastry OK, although a little plain. Coffee good. Staff even gave me some iced water for my dog. We sat outside watching the world go by in the comfy chairs. Very nice for a big chain.

When the old Starbucks at Whiteley closed, we were eagerly awaiting the rebuilt one - and were really disappointed when it reopened ! It is very noisy and echoey, due to the height of the building - lots of wasted space - they could have built it on 2 levels and had a lovely cosy area upstairs. Floor looks half finished - could do with a top coating of something. The positioning of the doors on 2 sides gives it a wind-tunnel effect if both are open at the same time. I imagine this will be a nightmare in the winter months. Even in summer, the outside doesn't get much sun, due to the positioning of the chairs on the east side. Had they been on the South side, it would have been a lot better. Not a welcoming environment to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. We will still use it as it's the only one in the area, however it has some stiff competition from Costa and Café Nero nearby, which are much more comfortable.

Starbucks has a better drinks compared to Nero and Costa. I'm hooked on their coffees. They also have a better choice of food. One thing sbux needs to start selling is the green tea frap that is available in the states...Soooooo good. The interior design is minimal and modern...more Industrial than comfy, but whatever. they are trying to maximize space. They just need to add more sofas. Service is just okay...the only standout would be Josh who works the register and is always friendly. All in all, Great alternative to the usual fare that's generally on offer in this area...

I visited this place a week after the grand opening. Firstly, only my friends get to call me by my first name, not someone I've never met before.Then, once we'd ordered I noticed the mugs we were going to be given were filthy inside (not just a little stain, but really badly). I pointed that out and it seemed that all of them were the same. I explained I do not drink out of dirty cups. The girl serving didn't seem too perturbed by this; merely shrugged and mumbled something about a dishwasher. I then asked to be directed towards Costa.
