Starbucks Coffee in Winchester

The young lady on the till resolved an issue despite it being my mistake. A very pleasant stop.

Reliable for a good strong coffee, staff always super efficient and friendly.

Lovely coffee ect, only gripe is that it's expensive

** UPDATED REVIEW ** I have been coming to this branch of Starbucks for 8 years now and the consistency in the quality of the drinks made, and the customer service from staff, is truly excellent. No-one is perfect but for me the efforts this team makes to rectify a bitter tasting coffee is outstanding. Politely and kindly speak to a team member and they will gladly help you; this is much better than leaving and then posting a bad review on here. I can whole-heartedly say that team members in this branch make the effort to get to know each and every customer who returns. Starbucks as a whole is generally good with this, but the team here is amazing. There are for me some team members who stand above the rest, and to them I wish to say thank you as I now move to a different city. Thank you to: Louise, Kiara, Maddy, Alex, Sue, Steph, Sylvia and Korts. You are each particularly wonderful team members who make awesome coffee and always make me feel welcome. Especially Louise who has a heart of solid gold.

What is up with both Costa and Starbucks serving stale croissants?? Coffee is great and the staff is lovely but the croissants are appalling.

The drinks are always hot and taste delicious, the staff are always welcoming especially Louise she always has a smile on her face and a cheery disposition.

Poor quality food Starbucks, they should improve. Normal coffee is atrocious, shame because service is good.

I’ve came here a few times and it’s normally great the tables are normally very clean the hygiene is great here however one time our staff forgot our order but in they’re defence they were busy so I think it’s okay, I recommend coming here.

Very confusing to know which side to que. One very miserable looking girl on the coffee machine who clearly didn't want to make eye contact, let alone talk. Upon ordering I was asked for my name and told to sit down and wait for it to be called when my order was ready. The general noise of the cafe prevented me from hearing that my order was ready, so it was left to one side for some minutes until I went to inquire. I was told that it was ready and waiting for 5 minuites! Where is the customer service???

Absolutely shocking!!!! Two red head girls making drinks with two of their friends hanging over the syrups. All talking and laughing loudly for 10 minutes while the queue was snaking around the shop.

It seems to be a repeated problem with this Starbucks. 4/5 times I've ordered from here on uber eats and purchased a frappe (thick), only to find NO STRAW in the bag. Why are you not double checking everything is in the bag properly? It would not surprise me if other people are missing items because of this failed quality check stage.

Arrived just before midday Service overload, and exacerbated by remote orders arriving from outside for large orders But coffee was excellent 👍

Sadly long wait to get served and even longer to get the drink. Didn't have a smile when I collected my drink..disappointed and probably won't go again

Whilst waiting for a appointment I had some time to kill, so off to get a coffee I went, decided on a Venti Caramelised Macadamia Oat Latte, The coffee taste was almost non existent, very little flavour all round, a real disappointment.

OK place friendly staff food was good and service was quick

Starbucks is Starbucks. The coffee was the same as always. New strawberry and white chocolate shortbread is lively.

Went into the store and was greeted with only two staff working. The shop was full and queue massive. The two staff working were nothing but welcoming and SO lovely!! They made the best of a bad situation. Woman at the till was smiling the whole way through. Made sure everyone was looked after, cleaning tabled, taking orders all at the same time. This industry can be soul destroying at Christmas but they didn’t let it get them down. Just think that they deserve the credit as I know how tough managing 12 different things to do can be. They’re a credit to the store and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. Bravo people. Keep your heads up high and hopefully you can relax come January! 💖💖💖

Louise was fantastic helped me with the app. Sorted the refund immediately when the 2 payments for 1 order went through incorrectly on the tills system. No questions asked. Hit and miss with their coffees

I whait for my order 20 minutes, nobody is no ask me nathing is poor service

A choice of convenience rather than free will. Clean, tidy, helpful staff but I'm just not keen on their blend of coffee. Saying that I drink there when I shop at Sainsbury.

My son and I arrived to be greeted by Arthur, who along with his lovely colleague helped us chose our cold coffees. Never had such lovely service and attention when buying a coffee. Thank you to both of you!

My girlfriend ordered an iced vanilla laté for delivery. Inside the coffee, which was sealed with cling film, was a bunch of dead floating ants. Absolutely disgusting. The store and/or their delivery drivers need to investigate this.

I'm afraid the wait for one drink was too long and not clear as to whose drink was who's. It was like a game of guess who in there. Also quite expensive. Sorry, Starbucks.

Good Starbucks branch, come here a lot. If you use the app to order sometimes they show as closed about half an hour or so before they actually do, so always go inside to check 😊

Contrary to others, I am of the belief that this cafe shop is actually generative of a good tendency. It has been able to produce products which are matched in friendliness and goodwill, not to mention their proximity to other dispensers of a general good taste. Good natured though I am, please do not accuse me of naivety, or even excessiveness niceness, which is famously described in Deuteronomy as the 'chief woe that pestilence hath thought to subject'. To describe me as such is to neglect that my good will is borne out of experience: I, unlike my critics, have braved the storms of this world, and have come out the other end, smiling and generally intact. Neither is it just to accuse me of lacking limbs, for I hath all four limbs, and though misshapen, they are of a hardy disposition, firm and tough, durable and rugged. In summary the coffee's actually pretty good

Hi I’ve just had to wait for ages in the Starbucks badgers farm Winchester it is full of young people serving and all they were doing is laughing and joking amongst each other and ignoring the customers they weren’t the usual members of staff as they always make a point to recognise customers and engage with them but these youngsters ignored all the customers and we didn’t even get a please or thank you I’m very disappointed and suggest the area manager pays a visit to discuss with the staff today is Sunday 5th December I hope the experience improves

Great but quite surprised how long it takes to get a coffee. Always seem to be queue.

2 female members of staff, a blonde lady managing the till and a brunette lady doing the coffee are so slow to move. The blonde lady with glasses I think her name starts with an S keeps spinning around, heating the sandwiches as slowly as possible, waiting for them to finish in the oven before taking another order whilst chatting with the coffee lady. There was another member of staff who could have helped manage that instead of taking orders to tables or cleaning up tables when there's not much people dining in but the blonde lady doesn't seem to want to allocate and she is sooo slow. The starbucks in town is busier but queues never get that long. 2-3 people left the queue, waiting time was about 15 mins. Unbelievable

Average coffee. Very slow service and I use the word service advisedly. Air con too cold, tables wobbly, sticky and uncleared.

This Starbucks is dirty, the staff are not polite and they don't serve any gluten free food. When l asked if the did l was told the lime cake is vegan as if that's the same thing!!

Was never really a big fan when Starbucks came to town, but since Costa started selling sandwiches with only half a portion in them, I've switched who I regularly go to; got to say, great coffee and great food also!

The male member of staff is long standing and good. The other staff had no sense of urgency. I have noticed this in this branch before. Not all customers are out on a jolly. Some of us are grabbing our only break in a busy day. Update a few weeks later: different staff today including a different male. Yet again, only the male member of staff had any sense of urgency. The two female members jogged along at their own pace. What is going on? Every other Starbucks has great staff with a sense of service regardless of gender or race.

So you que to order then you que to collect 🤔 Slow on the first que and slow on the second que. Probably won't hurry back soon. BUT Pastries were lush 😍 And sitting outside under cover watching the rain was brilliant

A Standard Starbucks, nothing special. Due to the one way system because of COVID it's hard to get out - the door is heavy and opens outwards which was difficult to navigate with a pram. No one offered to help me with it.

No cash payment at the drive through. I had a disabled person in the car with cash only and there was no warning sign anywhere about only accepting card payment so I had to pay it because it was ordered. A lesson learned not to stop there

Looks like it needs a good clean. Service was good however. Not very comfortable in there though design seems poor.

Great place for relaxing with friends and family or perfect for a quick coffee and a snack after shopping. Large bistro area and plenty of seating. Lots of choice and coffee a bit expensive and food a bit pricey but good value for money. Quick service and nice atmosphere.

I work as a driver for sainsburys, I regularly get my coffee fix hear. The staff are super nice always helpful! Even when I have had too much coffee for the day they are happy to make me a hot milk with vanilla. Great team.
