Starbucks Coffee in South Northamptonshire

This is a very poor Starbucks and I will not make the mistake of stopping here again. Miserable staff and dirty toilets with no loo roll. Although I appreciate it is Starbucks policy to not let dogs inside, it would be considerate to their paying customers, who also happen to be travelling with pets, if they could construct a covered seating area so we don’t have to get wet whilst eating our lunch. Even more annoying as the spacious restaurant was near empty apart from a filthy dirty man fast asleep sprawled across two seats. My dog would have caused far less offence to any other customers.

Large, airy starbucks woth good parking and the usual facilities.

Modern, clean Starbucks coffee shop. Good service. Clean Facilities.

Service was bad and it was the worst hot chocolate I have ever had. It tasted like warm milk. I would not go there again and do not recommend it.

Usual fare. Staff were very helpful.

Drinks are Poor quality and inconsistent. Often lacking flavour and ingredients. Tables not cleared often enough meaning you sit in other people’s dirty cups and plates (and crumbs)

The staff here are SO rude, especially the lady who I think is the manager. I used to go here all of the time and stopped just because of her. They also never make the drinks right, worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

Walked in and there were no staff to be seen, 5 minutes later all 4 wander back into the store to find a massive queue of people waiting. Food was OK but not worth £20 for a drink and 2 sandwiches, should have gone to McDonald's next door.

Very noisy, poor WiFi not really good enough for video conference, and not super clean.

Staff were friendly and spoke to customers like humans beings (sounds strange but some establishments you walk into staff act like they don't want to be there or act like robots. The staff on duty were warm, welcoming, cheerful, friendly.

Took ages to be served even though it was nearly empty , and cost me £6.50 for a tea and mini bottle of orange juice, really encourages return visit

Can I just say THANK YOU to the lady serving in Starbucks yesterday. I met a friend there and we were just commenting on the low seats. The lady brought me over a higher chair ( I have MS) and was so helpful to us. I didn't get her name, but think she was the only female there......about 11.30 am. Please Thank her for me. Very nice Starbucks to take a break at. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly and the cafe was clean and spacious.

Overall what you would expect, staff need to ensure toilets have hand soap and toilet rolls while stocked. It did feel like a school ground with the staff messing around and playing on phones loudly.

I came in with my daughter to have a nice drink together. The stuff we're very unwell coming and rude. One member was on a phone call whiles making the drinks whiles another one on till didn't give one care about you. Such a shame as it's such a nice area but they need to rethink about stuff hiring or more education especially working in this type of industry.

Not much parking but lots for electric cars, which were empty. Rest of car park full which was odd as not many people inside. Cakes looked dry. Mocha was weak and bland. Girl on till very friendly.

4 staff on. Could do with training to re housekeeping. Several tables had uncleaned tables. Despite not needing to serve customers. Floor needing a good clean. Not thinking of dropping in again.

Terrible service! I usually come in the afternoon but came this morning and ordered my usual drink, ice pumpkin cream chai latte, a drink literally on their website. The worker was extremely rude and told me that the drink didn’t exist when I just ordered it the day prior with no issues, and has ordered it many times previously at this SAME Starbucks. She proceeded to walk off in my face with no explanation to apparently look at yesterday’s receipts to see if I was lying, didn’t bother to ask what time I ordered the day prior before coming back and telling me it didn’t exist. Proceeded to make me botched version of the drink and overcharged me £3 from my usual price just to attempt to give me a tall drink instead of venti. Had to go back inside and get them to remake the same drink just for her to give me a venti drink with over half the cup filled with ice. Extremely rude and unprofessional on her part, will not be ordering here again.

Looked at opening times on google and that says it opens at 06:30,i arrived at 06:40 and waited til 07:00. Member of staff ignored us when i tried to ask when they open. Several people turned up and left while i was there so maybe change the opening hours if the staff cant be bothered.

Understaffed. Gave up and drove on to Costa’s at Northampton motorway services. Service there was immediate.

Really, really cold.... only one member of staff on duty trying to serve and make the drinks... took ages...

Unbelievably slow service. The staff are friendly but hopeless. Don't stop off for a quick coffee, as you'll be waiting for hours.

Disappointinly no drive through considering its at a services , could be quicker with serving considering no big queue, but once ordered fairly quick

Very weird Starbucks. Coffee bas extra bitter (even for Starbucks), the wait was 20mins and i only ordered 2 coffees. Many people in line were getting the wrong order and the general atmosphere was a bit depressing

Worst Starbucks been to. Capucino and latte were awful tasting burnt and we couldn't drink them. Had thought stopping here rather than Northampton services would be better but so wrong

Good size mugs used for coffee/tea if drank in.

All good and tidy but please avoid toillets i dont think they was cleaned in the last decade.

Consistent Starbucks coffee, predictable experience. Service here can be a little slow, and there is an empty atmosphere likely due to location. Nonetheless, the coffee is always great! ☕

Yea I like this place. Well situated, a mile south on the A34 just off the M40. Good place for a break.

Ok place location close to the dual carriageway ,the place was very cold and doors didn't close very well .

Visit this Starbucks quite regularly. It's always nice and quiet when I go early in the morning. Lots of parking with it being on a small retail park

It's okay. It didn't have the drink I wanted but it was quieter than the usual baby scream fest.

Stopped off on route today 11-12-22. Two staff on duty one doing drinks one taking orders. Both staff worked well together but the young man taking orders warming the toasties etc very impressive. He cleaned up after himself as he worked preparing orders,he was friendly polite and very effeciant. What a star worker he is. I watched him clear the que quickly. What an asset to this company this staff member was. Gold star from me.

Served by teenagers who are as dynamic as a used teabag. This site has managed to run out of syrups, someone needs to learn stock control and forward ordering

Decent size, with ample seating. Good range of drinks and hot and cold food. It's part of a small service stop, so gets a lot of footfall, which meant the toilets were a bit minging!

None of the hand driers working and no loo roll!!!! One staff member serving drinks AND cleaning the floor etc. Not good enough

Stopped on route to Leicester, usual stop off but today grabbed a coffee. Had to use the gents which I couldn't due to noticing there was no paper and the toilet was blocked. Waited for the use of disabled due to need of loo which was disgusting and littered in soggy paper, toilet roll tubes etc. The whole toilet corridor smelt of urine. Only 1 staff member on the tills so service was slow, staff were friendly but dismissive of the dismal state of ablutions. Only 4 customers in the building so they weren't exactly too busy to not clean.

Needed a good clean! Toilet and sinks were filthy! Alot more expensive than I remember!

Popped in this morning to get a coffee, but machine was broken so I therefore opted for a iced matcha latte with oatmilk. Was way too strong, it needed more milk. The manager was really rude and kept giving dirty looks which made me feel really uncomfortable. Won’t be visiting this branch often as i didn’t have a great experience this morning

Smell of sour milk in the shop, sinks in the bathroom out of order and diarrhoea all over the toilet bowl..... What more can you ask from a coffee shop?

Normally an OK service at the best of times. Staff are not always that friendly but today the service was shocking a member of staff spoke down to my wife for no reason. Made her feel uncomfortable then the coffee I got went down the drain..... not happy one bit poor service rude staff

Usually come to this Starbucks, I ordered a chai latte iced. It came extremely watery and not how it usually tastes. As soon as I had a sip I said to the lady with brown hair working there that it didn’t taste right. She done me a new one but seemed extremely annoyed about it. The customer service was shocking. Doesn’t cost anything to smile especially when working with customers.

Nothing special, the toilets were a little grim but we only stopped off for a quick break so it wasn't an unpleasant experience!

They just never have enough staff on , always feel sorry for the staff, always a queue to the door , come on management, give your staff a break and make sure your business is better staffed

Wouldn't take cash. Major potholes coming off motorway. So many better places to stop.

Slow service, not staff's fault as there was only 2 of them, and due to lack of staff place was a mess all the tables had dirty cups and plates on. Bit of a shame as I probably won't stop there again.

We’ve just had a bit of friends gathering here tonight between 6 and 7 and would like to say the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. We would really recommend this location,with parking available,space inside and some rather nice looking cakes. Many thanks, really recommend this place.

Disappointing coffee, Americano was undrinkable, absolutely no crema and weak as water. I gave two stars instead of one because the new peanut butter cups are awesome

Expensive & could do with a clean. Tables had ring marks & there appeared to be crumbs & food debris on the floor. The toasted cheese sandwich was only toasted on the top making in very difficult to cut using the wooden knife.

Desperate for a coffee and the toilet- but just walking into the place put me off. Every surface was dirty and hand printa all over the door. I have never seen any Starbucks look and smell so dirty

Always good coffee but service can be slow. Friendly staff though and helpful.

Didnt get what I asked and paid for....why can't the person taking the order pass on the correct order details to the person making the bloody drink?! Very disappointed

Starbucks Store is super easy to access, it is located right beside the highway, as part of the services. There is a travel lodge opposite the store, so parking can be a little difficult when busy. Great friendly service, barista did a good job, perfect stop for a much needed hot coffee. This Starbucks does accept and redeem Starbucks points via the app. The prices are slightly more expensive than the High Street locations, but to be expected at a services.

Always an okay experience. Staff not great often seeming rather rude and often out of types of milk/ cakes/ coffees. Always have been going back hoping it will improve since opening but no such luck yet.

Called in at 16:24 for a coffee. The cake section was empty all but for a few currant buns. Asked for a coffee with the blonde roast. No, the coffee machine with that roast had been put into cleaning mode (branch closes at 17:30). Used the gents which didn'tiok like it had been cleaned for quite a few hours, and no toilet paper so certainly not checked. Not the best Starbucks I've visited.
