Starbucks Carlisle in Carlisle

Had a birthday coffee and chat with my daughter. She got a parking ticket for her troubles as it ended up being a 2 round session and a chin wag of unequalled quality though didn’t expect her to get a ticket, only there marginally longer than I was. Service always good, nothing wrong with the typical atmosphere and the food is what it is.

Best place to take a break and charge yourself and the car off the M6. Staff is fantastic including the manager Esther. Super disabled friendly too!

Jess, Abby and the polish girl have the best customer service skills. They never fail in getting my extremely awkward order exactly right. Even when my takeaway cup is filthy they never moan but clean it for me with the biggest smile on their face. They all deserve a medal from Starbucks for their faultless customer service

Nice coffee and lovely staff but coffee and food are expensive

Hot chocolate was absolutely disgusting and not fit to drink. Tasted like it was out of an old hospital vending machine. We definitely will not be back.

Great place for charging up your vehicle and having a drink and a visit to the loo while you wait.

Nice Starbucks, however dogs are not allowed inside and this is not mentioned on Google or on the door/windows.

Seen more happiness in a morgue than from the staff here ! One person out of 8 making coffee Someone picked their coffee up from counter lid wasn’t on burnt his hand and not one apologised or asked if was ok Last time I visit here as Starbucks is decent but serious training in customer service and how to smile is needed

Absolutely love a flat white and pain au chocolat whenever I'm passing.

very disappointed with the food offered at starbucks of all places, how hard is it to make a decent croissant, in uae and other countries food is great, and what’s with the rubber/plastic material your passing off as cheese, disgusting you should learn from your uae branches how to make a cheese croissant, coffee usual great and thanks for addition of oat milk and others

They always try and over charge you and over order you. Pretty sad from an International company.

So you didn't allow me to use the toilet but it was ok for someone who came after me to use it. Treat your customers equally.

Service was fine, didn’t mind that my first two choice of drink were unavailable as sold out. Disappointed because I paid £5 for a cup of ice and a few mouthfuls of coffee.

Service was brilliant. Particularly Hann, she was so smiley and bubbly. After a three hour drive, it really made me smile.

The most pass remarkable thing was a nesting seagull at the drive thru sign.

I visited during an EV charging session, had a mocha and a bun. Food and drinks were good, staff very friendly and helpfull and the store looks very neat and tidy.

Lovely service from Lee, and nice coffee but why do I have to sit in a place with crumbs on the floors and tables? Cleanliness is so important in a cafe yet it’s quite rare.

A nice place to sit and enjoy a flavoursome coffee.

Used this Starbucks whilst my car was charging. Food and drinks to the usual standard, but the experience could be improved if the tables had been cleared and wiped, that's the only thing that was wrong.

Golden Caramel White Hot Chocolate was good.

Looked nice inside. At first the guy couldn’t understand and signal was poor on the drive through until someone else came through and confirmed everything. Ordered hot chocolate but had a coffee shot instead 😂

Disappointed, not like the other Ionity charging sites where Starbucks accepts dogs😢 Can’t use the drive through as we need to get a coffee whilst we charge!

Stopped basically just to charge the car. Twice we've been in, twice the staff got our order wrong. Prices are insane. Probably will use the charger again, but not the Starbucks. Two coffees and snacks would cost as much as charging the car!

The staff are so friendly and accommodating, especially faith she helped me pick from the menu giving me her recommendations, she was so lovely and gave me an amazing experience Absolutely lovely place so clean !

I went to use the toilet facilities before getting a drink Went into disabled toilet as both of the others were occupied and I was desperate. Didnt notice the sign on door. Went in closed door. On trying to leave only then noticed sign which said dont use as door wont open once closed. I tried shouting and knocking on door, pulled red alarm, banged door nothing. Panic was setting in I pulled red cord again , nothing. I tried to find Starbucks number to phone, nothing. I even phoned my husband 40 miles away in sheer panic not knowing what else to do. He tried looking up number but only hot head office down south. I banged on door for another 10 mins. Then I heard someone outside I shouted and they heard and opened up. Another customer had heard and rescued me. I ten went and spoke to a member of staff really shaking now The response was disgusting, told that they put the sign on the inside as it had been removed from the outside and they didnt want to shut the door??? And it was getting fixed on Monday anyway. Well I wasnt mad till then her attitude was awful I said what annoyed me more than anything was that the red cord wasnt working she said getting fixed Monday. I said it wasnt good enough that there should have been a sign on the outside as well also one on the entry to the toilet block so that anyone disabled would know prior to going through first door and that the red pull cord wasnt working. Disgusting attitude.

Came in earlier today to watch what can i only assume is the manager on duty berate a staff member, that clearly had a massive toll on the staff member who them continued to serve customers while bawling her eyes out, absolutely disgusting behaviour to scream and berate your employees like that in front of other customers. The staff member must have been so embarrassed and i hope that the manager gets her karma for this behaviour, will find somewhere else because this is not the atmosphere i needed on the way to work.

Stopped here to charge my car. Service in the coffee shop was shocking. Croissant was just okay as it had been zapped for too long.

Had a good coffee and Brownie. Atmosphere wasn't special but the food did its work. Was good for a stop towards Dover.

Very nice experience. The place was warm with plenty of seats and tables. The staff were efficient. The coffee was lovely. Will definitely go back.

Slow service even through we were only people there

Nice new modern coffee shop, but the service was rather slow! Overheard another customer complaining about slow service also. In the time we were in, the tables near us hadn't been cleared.

Ordered two hot drinks at the same time but after one was ready had to wait by the till for 10 minutes for the second (which was slammed onto the counter because I'd enquired about it). Customer service is zero.

Clean store, quick service, and good coffee. Really easy to get to as a quick detour when travelling the M6.

Really saddened to be turned away for a coffee this morning with my dog. I've been to many starbucks and they have welcomed well behaved pooches. You'd think in Cumbria starbucks staff would be more forward thinking but apparently not. You're missing out on so much business as I wandered up whilst my car was in the garage. I'm sure people would do this if you were more welcoming.

Great location, great service and easy to find

My friends went here together with our kids one evening after dinner just hang out and have a coffee talk outside our respective homes. The staff are all nice and accommodating. The store was clean too and nice ambiance to stay with. We actually had a great time here. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here to charge our electric car. There is a generous bank of chargers, maybe 8 (I didn't count). We had a nice hot drink in a nice, bright modern building while we waited. The food on offer looked good, but we were not hungry, so we only had drinks.

Popped in for lunch while we charged our car. Store is lovely, bright, clean and lots of seating space available both inside and outside. Staff very friendly, Food and drinks were fab. We will defiantly call again when we are passing this way.

Well located off the M6 (junction 44) and A7, well presented, plenty of seating, bright and clean, lots of natural light, with welcoming staff. This is my first visit to this branch for a Mother's Day cuppa and a snacket today. Plenty of sweet and savoury food choices, ham and cheese Croissants for us, with an Earl Grey tea and a huge bucket of hot chocolate and cream!!! On-site parking, accessible as all ground level, very clean toilets too!

Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Lovely, chilled cafe area too! Drive thru is always super speedy service if you’re ever in a rush.

The best place in Carlisle to get a coffee

Callum is my absolute fave he’s a star! All the staff are amazing and absolutely smash every drink they make for me and my partner. We are regulars and go most days and I couldn’t think anywhere better to buy my coffee ☕️ service always with a smile and great banta, I know how hard it is working in hospitality as I work in greggs, but all the staff are diamonds and I couldn’t thank them enough!

Cleanliness is perfect. My drinks that i ordered were perfect and the staff are very well presented and polite

Just so expensive. Usual findings with many of these places but tables need cleaning sooner and toilets needing cleaning and toilet rolls replaced. Understaffed. Not their fault.

We were in here for a wee while waiting for our car to be serviced and we were very well looked after by Callum and Mollie. Really friendly and welcoming Location is very clean and well laid out, lovely decor Toilets were also clean Would highly recommend

Im a big starbucks fan and as i stoped in on my way home from work i was greatd buy a young lady (Magdalena) behind the counter, She asked what i would like to order. A venti blonde caramel with extra shot please. Ofcourse sir she replyed and promply took payment. She then made the best coffee iv had in a wile and i drink alot of coffee. A real credit to the starbucks team, friendly polite and a hands down the best barista to make me coffee in a long time. keep up the good work

Callum and the team are super friendly, efficient as usual. Callum always remembers our drink order as we arrive, which is impressive, I struggle to remember where I parked my car in the car park.

Coffee was perfectly fine however service was slow and unfriendly, we were given only one plate for two cakes and no spoons.

Today I had a lovely girl called Sarah serve me today she was absolutely great and provided wonderful service. Really impressed with how friendly and enthusiastic she was she made my day a whole lot better !!
