Starbucks in Peterborough

Staff need a uniform and more training one of the worst services Ive had on new years day more interested in talking to staff that are working the next day. Very poor for a starbucks.

The coffee is banging as ALWAYS but it's the staff that make this place soo good! Love it in here and always feel welcome!

A great place to grab a coffee and sandwich at lunchtime. Tyler, Grace, Emma and Co were all great when we went in, answered all my questions about the food (I'm fussy). The place was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was good. I see from other reviews that some saying the young workers are unprofessional, but I think it was a joy to see young people enjoying their work. We had service with a smile and left feeling valued as customer. Great job guys

Grace Emma and Tyler are FANTASTIC. I think they all deserve a pay raise because the level of service and professionalism is absolutely wonderful. In fact I’ve never seen them take a break or sit down. I visit this store everyday and I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere. The store is always clean and there is always plenty of choices for food.

I wanted to review this Starbucks to say thank you to the wonderful staff. Grace, Emma, Tyler and Co have been fabulous. I have had cancer and liked to come here to have a bit of social time and a great coffee. They have been so kind, bringing my order over to my table and chatting with me and sometimes have a proper belly laugh. The quiz night I attended with my family was great fun too. Cherish these employees Starbucks please!

Been in to the oxney road branch of Starbucks a few times now and sadly it's always the same bad experience. The staff are all young adults who treat the place like there own personal youth club and act like customers are an inconvenience interrupting their conversations. They run around messing about, blasting music and only seem bothered about the "customers" who are clearly their friends come in to hang out. Ive heard them being very rude about members of staff who work in the Sainsbury's store attached not really caring who hears. Sadly I can see from reading reviews what I am saying is nothing new and nothing seems to have changed so expect my review to have little impact but this store needs a serious shake up of staff or a manager put in charge who actually knows they are at work and not at a party. There's a reason this Starbucks is pretty much always empty.

Lovely tasting food but not much choice at 1.30ish. Coffee was good as always. A couple of screams from kitchen made us jump but not an issue. What really upset me was the way one server behind the counter was continuously flicking her long hair with her hands. I thought anyone working with food was supposed to tie hair off their face?! Hope no-one found any in their cup or plate!!

A lovely place to grab a coffee. Grace, Emma and Abbie are always fantastic, and always make it a wonderful experience :)

The man shouted at me when I said “sorry” coz I didn’t hear him. Very aggressive and rude. Sorry that you work here but it’s not my fault.

All the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Drinks are great. My little boy gets excited seeing the staff as they are always willing to chat to him. Would definitely recommend!

most of the tables are washed with a long rag and sticky from sugar, uncleaned cups are left on the tables. at the same time the staff is telling jokes and laughing very loudly. the cinamon roll looks like it wasn't baked at all it's just white. the floors are dirty from spilled coffee. maybe that's enough for a change of staff?????

Went in after work and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Apparently they don't take cash, and that's OK by me, these days I rarely carry cash because cash machines are easily compromised, much safer to tap my phone or pay by app.

Georgia and Evie were perfectly attentive and prompt making our drinks this evening. Always a pleasure coming in after shopping on the way home from work.

They don't accept Cash!!!! Cash is legal currency and any business should accept as a mode of payment. Business who refuses to accept country's legal currency shouldn't be allowed to operate in UK. Awful and shame on Starbucks.

i ordered reusable cup cost 6£ its not on the food that you delivered my order was incomplete

I asked my girlfriend in jest why the store had Halloween decorations up in August. One of the servers clearly took offence to this as she snapped back with a very dirty look and information about pumpkin spice being on sale. Luckily this interaction was somewhat saved by a kinder barista actually serving me.

Took a disabled elderly gentleman on his birthday to Starbucks. However, after the process of selecting our food and drinks, we were told that they only accept card payment. Which is something not commonly used in the care industry. Very poor and upsetting. Additionally I'd like to comment on the generic reply of Starbucks that used the exact verbage on multiple other posts. Wouldn't be surprised if it was just automated with AI. Doesn't feel genuine poor effort on your part.

Normally very quiet and Starbucks is getting quite pricey

Totally unfriendly, don't want to serve you before an hour before closing, the wouldn't recommend going there, because I won't be, I can buy overpriced coffee anywhere, counters filthy, too busy chatting with each other.

No delivery at all! The message says the food was delivered but I haven't received my order! Outrageous!

There was no chocolate sprinkle available, And also Staff had no concern about service and hygiene, Store has to be more clean.

I know it was a Sunday. I know the staff were hungover. I know they are not paid well. But don't expect to be looked down upon when just in for a casual Father's Day drink with the family. Just nasty attitude and spikiness to gentle genuine requests. Sunday shift you let us down, bad taste.

I happened to be in the store the same time as the man who complained about his latte and staff being rude. His attitude was actually abysmal, the girls offered to change it straight away, no problem. He leaned over the counter and aggressively pointed his finger in the girls face. Completely unacceptable and not something appropriate for a man of his age to do. I felt sorry for her and he just showed what a terrible chauvinistic attitude he has!

The lady who was making a drink is very rude. I asked for a straw the first time and got ignored. I thought she just didn’t hear me so I asked again. And she got quite annoyed and said let me finish making the drink first. Why she didn’t tell me in the beginning and just asked me to wait for a second? Instead she chose to ignore me and be angry after. Worst staff ever.

I usually use this Starbucks 3 to 4 times a in week. Today I had a bad latte. After a heated discussion I received another and it was to Starbucks usual standard. The attitude of some staff in this outlet is abysmal. Have noticed that less people are using it and now they have lost two more customers.

I ordered 2 frappes one espresso frappe and one strawbs and cream. I received 1 hot coffee and 1 strawbs frappe. Read correctly please and make the correct orders!!!

I come here most days to chill out before work, or after shopping. my little boy is always insistent on coming in to see everyone. Staff are amazing and treat you like one of their own, which is lovely. Always been made to feel welcome, brilliant customer service. A lovely environment to be in.

Rude staff, blonde girl working today talking down to us when we ordered and tried to pay with cash

Starbucks showed as being open so placed order, paid including tip for driver. Driver called short while later to say Starbucks was closed and would cancel the order. Driver did NOT cancel the order and the delivery map showed him driving towards my house. I stood at the door of my house, in a crescent, and watched as he drove past my door and marked the order as delivered. Basically the driver committed theft by fradulant activity. Reported to Just Eat, awaiting response.

No cash, no Starbucks. It's that easy. I do like to pay with cash sometimes. That is not an option that Starbucks offers. Every time I visit Sainsbury's, I usually find this Starbucks to be very quiet. Personally, I still prefers the original Sainsbury's cafe over Starbucks. The original Sainsbury's cafe had a more local vibe about it.

Drinks spilt everywhere! Delivery bag spelt of smoke absolutely disgusting. Delivery driver was very rude and almost took to the wrong house!!

I just wanted to relax, do some admin online and drink a coffee however this was impossible because of the awful music being played too loud. I politely asked a member of the staff to turn the music down, she walked out back to the office however the music remained at the same annoying level so I left. How can a coffee shop consistently get even the most basic things wrong. No one sits at home and thinks ‘ I know, let’s go to Oxney rd Starbucks and pay nearly 4 quid for a coffee whilst getting a headache listening to dinny trash pop music being played too loud. The manager here needs to get some common sense- turn the music off.

Best Starbucks in town, lovely staff who can't do enough for you and place looks clean and tidy, can't fault it. Special mention to Emma, Grace and Cassie who have gone above and beyond and ensured I was served promptly and consistently. Thank you!

The service here is always nice, arguably the best Starbucks in town. Grace, Frankie, Emma, Rob, Liam, and Cassie always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. (If I didn’t name drop you, nothing personal, just haven’t met you yet). They even accommodated us when we asked for a weird concoction we had tried at another coffee shop, espresso orange. All other Starbucks are pretty much in the shadow of Oxney road, the staff really do make the difference.

I can only say one things about this part of Starbucks Coffee Shop. It’s awesome the staff are very polite never judge anyone and are always happy to help what ever. Gracie comes to mind but saying this all the girls are fantastic. This is what anyone would expect from all the Starbucks. But the rest don’t have these staff. 10/10. *************

Staff at this branch are absolutely incredible. Always greet you with a smile on your face. Liam has been an absolute star, always remembers the order and makes sure to provide the best service.

I visit this store every Thursday before doing my shopping. Georgia, Sinead and Frankie are brilliant. Always polite, friendly and efficient. The store is clean and tidy, plus the coffee is good too 😊

Good mix of seating, decent sized site, very helpful staff, only thing that would make it better for me would be some solo seating when I’m working on my laptop.

Cassie was great. She kindly advised me on what cold drink would suit my no carb, no sugar diet. Iced green tea... great idea.

Well what can I say, cassie & Grace areboth fantastic baristas ,and why, because from the very first day the store opened cassie & Grace have always welcomed me with a lovely smile and always makes.sure the customers are ok and having a nice day they are very good with customers, it's a pleasure to go.and get my coffee in the.mornings now and always look forward to having a chat and banter.....

Ordered a decaf caramel frappe for my niece and it is far too strong it just taste like really strong coffee

Worst starbucks ever staff are rude and can't be bothered to do there job , I even emailed sainsbury's store when I got home to complain about the rudness of the staff. Received reply they meant to be sending on to relevant department. I then went in the other day different women on are they are just as bad who the heck trained these they seriously are a can't be arsed attitude big time .

I visit regularly and have dealt with most of the staff most of the staff are amazing however cassie and grace are by far the best

No cutlery- my Mum had to spread butter in her toasted tea cake with a wooden spoon! Staff very nice but I asked for milk on the side for our Americans and they all came with milk in!

Went in for a coffee before doing our shopping. Very clean and the service was excellent. I had a cappuccino and the wife had a latte. Both came in a large mugs and were hot and very tasty.

Absolutely excellent service this morning very friendly girls think there names are cassie and Ellie would highly recommend a visit I know ill be back again tomorrow.
