Rumbles Fish Bar in Peterborough

Absolutely rubbish. In Kids menu the chips were disgusting, rotten..I can not describe the taste 🤮🤢..

I ordered the large fish and medium chips. I had very good portions unfortunately I couldn’t eat the batter on the fish because it was so greasy.

pie was still fridge cold and the rest wasn't hot either, we had to microwave the pie to be edible.

Worst scampi and chips I've ever had. And to top it off ...no tartar sauce.

food was all stone cold over an hour late then refused to give me a refund even if i took all the cold food back to them

Disgusting batter not cook chips not cooked well. Never again will I order from there …

Bought a chicken wrap, didn't expect it to be so big. It was pretty good.

Great quality food, only downside was we got the kids nugget meal instead of the 4 wings meal. However we have ordered here several times and this is the first time we’ve had anything wrong

Purchased cod and chips a few weeks ago and it wasn’t particularly very nice which was unusual Went again this afternoon and the fish was nearly non existent it was all batter and awful

Absolute rubbish can't even get an order right of you say it so there face and don't try and ring and complain they don't answer cos they dint care. Funny looking chicken

Unfortunately, I cannot give a good opinion about this food. Dried fish and wings, potatoes with cheese, boiled and not fried. I won't order more.

Food was OK but was cold what was a shame so won't be ordering from there again will pop in store next time

waited way too long for my order and 2 people who came in after me with similar or bigger orders got served first waited over 20 mins for my food which was only fish and chips and fish cake too. ordered curry sauce cost me £1.20 and it was tiny won't be returning.

Amazing portion sizes - biggest fish I’ve ever ordered. Chips were fab not greasy at all and really tasty curry sauce - proper curry sauce not fruity and sweet. Very happy customers

I was driving through the area feeling hungry so stopped here. Had a medium cod and chips, which was £9 something - but for a medium the piece of fish was massive, it was more like two pieces of fish. Very tasty and the chips are nice too. They also have two nice tables inside, which will seat for people each, so room for 8 to dining altogether. The staff are friendly and the place looks very clean.

When it came found it very greasy. A shame as had been So looking forward to it but arrived late and then hadn’t enjoyed as hoped.

Food order was late, when it did arrive the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream was missing. It then took another hour for that to arrive. When it did. It was obvious that it had been defrosted and then refrozen as it was full of ice crystals. And had defrosted to almost liquid. Not a great experience to start my weekend.

Order delivery via Uber Eats and delivery was super quick. Food hot and decent portion size. Nothing else you can ask for really.

It was lovely but the chips were dry and the fish was lovely but it was a bit too greasy.

ordered fish for partner, sausage for me.. they packed the sausage and fish together.. fish was for someone who doesn't eat meat. phoned up and was told fish is meat and that they don't do refunds

The food was cold and late which spoilt the quality. But there was a lot of chips.

Ordered via Uber eats, poor service and poor food, took over 2 hours to arrive and was soggy and horrible when it did, was told by staff it was on it's way then took another hour after that

Great staff, fast delivery and great quality food

Chips were dripping in oil and buns were stale. The chicken was chewy and rock hard while the burger was piled in salad.

Really nice place, but I found the fish batter to be a bit undercooked and not crispy. Overall it was ok food, but the staff and shop are nice and welcoming

My friend and I walk in and the staff must of heard our tummies rumbling, brilliant size meal each and very tasty! Staff are brilliant, and made us feel welcome! Definitely becoming back soon 😁

Rumbles fish and chips... decided to get an order from just eat this evening and was flicking through just eat and remember rumbles of old, nice food, and filled you up. The offerings tonight have ensured I never go back there, the chips were basically potatoes dunked in fat for seconds, the sausage was undercooked and I'm surprised the USA didn't declare war on them for the amount of oil on their food, and the pie was probably hours old, could have thrown it at someone and possibly killed them with how hard the pastry was, the gravy was like a lepers bathwater.... watery with christ knows what floating in it 🤢. Absolutely disgusting, and will most definitely never be going there again.

Was lovely fish and chips but didn't receive my coke

This order was not complete as a portion of chips was missing from the order hence the fish has gone cold. This is. the second time something was missing from the order. When the missing chips turned up they were stone cold, As this is the second mistake we will not be ordering again from this fish bar. We had microwave the food to make it edible.

Kebabs was dry cheese on chips tasteless not very nice especially for the price paid

was a late delivery with order but still was later than expecting food was then warm

Food what got had a hair in it but I still could never drop these legends a star bloody love it can’t get enough and the food is a bloody bargain love it guys and they stay open later might have caught the guy spraying the donner with bleech when trying to clean the machine but could still never drop these guys a star love them

Horrendous food, soggy batter, chips covered in grease, curry sauce very watery, tired to give feedback and a get a credit for next time but was met with an abusive/arrogant male, the slop is here if you want to collect it!

Food delivered first time, and items missing from order. Called restaurant and they agreed to deliver the remaining items ( they should have delivered everything again so all good eaten and hot at the same time) - but delivering just the missing items disappointing as the chicken/ burgers/ curry sauce then cold when the chips were then delivered - very disappointing kids didn’t want the microwave heated food.. won’t order again.had to go to the nearest takeaway and get something else..

Food took forever couldn't find their driver. Food warm not hot as a result but edible. Chips however where mostly very under cooked. Fish was nice but greasy sadly. Curry sauce great and kebab meet okay. Not a rush to order again

Always in delivery window, always hot. Great value, flavour and portion size. The box of potatoes are to die for 👍

The food was delicious, and so much better than it used to be a couple of months ago. Only downside is it said it was out for delivery for 40 mins. Was worried it would arrive cold. It didn’t - everything was super hot and fresh, but clearly wasn’t out for delivery for 40 mins.

The scampi was cold, chips didn’t seem like a large and the curry sauce was very watery… don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again, the only good thing was the sausages

Delivery took about an hour. Food was hot even though the delivery driver couldn’t find our house straight away. Tasty burger lovely chips 👍🏻 will be ordering again

Chips were hardly cook they where white and soggy

I give up with this place. It’s very hit and miss. The Doner on two occasions tasted off and looked old. Gave both myself and wife stomach aches. The fish is tasteless. No more custom from us which is a good thing for our diets and wallet.

Just been here got a sausage and chips and a battered sausage and chips safe to say won't be going here again its awful chips the only thing I can recommend is my bread roll and that's no lie.

Scampi was not scampi. It looked like fish cake mixture formed to the shape of scampi and deep fried. Tasted like cardboard. Horrible. This is fake, cheap food to maximise profits. Owner disinterested in my complaint. He knew it wasn't scampi. Don't expect to get what you order in this place. £8.50 ripoff.

Had some chicken and didn't feel well that night, spent most of the next day in bed. Chips cold bland and looked like they had been played with by a baby. Never again, avoid at all costs.

Had a lot from here with no problems. However this time wife ill. Both had the chicken kebab all she had differently was the mayonnaise on hers, as that's all we had to eat that night can only put it down to that. Trouble with takeaways is it might have 5 star rating but do the staff wash their hands after going to the toilet etc.
