Starbucks in East Staffordshire

Very convenient being situated right next to the Travelodge we stayed in for the night. Coffees lovely. Staff friendly. The only point I was disappointed with was the cleanliness. The long seats were completely covered in crumbs, hairs and dirt, which I had to brush off. Tables dirty. Floor covered in food. The staff were standing around and we were one of only 3 couples and no others customers present so it wasn’t clear as to why cleanliness wasn’t being kept up to a higher standard. This doesn’t detract from their warm welcome but sitting on a clean chair and at a clean table would’ve been nice. We would however return and hope that this was an isolated case.

Very nice Starbucks coffee shop - spotlessly clean and staffed by a very pleasant and helpful team for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Clean space. The usual starbucks environment. Just wanted to mention that I know a hard worker when I see one! Woman with black long hair on shift today was polite, hard working and clearly had it together more than the other workers! Xxx

Although I come here most weeks mainly on Saturday I do sometimes travel further into Burton Starbucks as the coffee just tastes better I order the same thing ice vanilla latte and this Starbucks its like a lottery on how the coffee tastes, today it was like water no vanilla taste hardly any coffee taste it cant be that hard to keep things the same think the staff need training again as lovely as they are whereas the one in Burton town centre just seem to do it better an iced vanilla latte that actual tastes like it has vanilla in it.

It is a great and in a good location to stop and grab a drink in the drive through or to sit in. Nice atmosphere when sitting in the cafe too.

I ordered a hot chocolate and a cheese sandwich. I told the barista, ‘sorry I only have a £10 note. ‘Oh’ she replied, ‘you’d better put the sandwich back then.

Never fails to make my drink perfect also outstanding service from the staff. All staff are kind and they know how to treat their costumers.

I frequently go to this starbucks as I go to the sixth form down the road. It’s the best place to go for a quick drink or a study break. The vibe is great, there’s always great songs playing and it’s nice and clean. Paige is a wonderful lady and is always fast and great to talk to.

We are regular customers to this Starbucks and take our grandson with us the staff are very very nice and polite and professional I would like to name 4 excellent staff in Scott, Skye, Josh, and Gabi what wonderful staff and are a credit to the company

Sat in for a quite coffee and a catch up on some work emails and had to listen to two of the staff members shouting and pratting about like playtime at school with the exception of using foul language. There were at least 4 people on duty but not sure if one of them was a manger as no one seemed to get a hold of the situation. As I took my mobile phone from my pocket, one said to the other, oh he's going to take a picture of us now, were going to be in trouble ooooh! Grow up!!

Staff are friendly than before which helps greatly. Sadly, tables were very dirty with cups piling up. Starbucks should simply add more staff!!!! Coffee is fine

We have been visiting this Starbucks now for a few years and at least twice a week. We drive past another Starbucks to go here. Our reasons are simple, they are untouchable. When new people are serving you the drinks are the same as the regular servers, this proves the training of new people is spot on, a credit to all who work there. This has been more noticeable in the past 12 months. It must be mentioned that Scott stands out from a good team there, nothing wrong with the others but he goes one step above everyone else. Hands down one of the best customer services I have experienced especially a young lad being very helpful and respectful towards my questions, Jack Hickman. I definitely recommend popping into this Starbucks as the quality of the food and drinks are also brill!

Hands down the world’s worst Starbucks!! Every time I have visited they mess up the order. This morning, my drink was so disgusting I asked god it to be changed for something else, only to find that was just as awful. Totally incapable of getting an order correct first time around. Overcharged on more than one occasion. Drinks never taste anything like they should; coffee always tastes burnt, drinks are weak, and almost always never what you order. Food is never given with cutlery, condiments or napkins and despite taking your name upon ordering they don’t seem to like to notify you when food and drinks are ready. I’d avoid it, and get your coffee fix slightly further up the a38 at a much better Starbucks.

WE had drinks which they made twice as they didn’t think they were good enough which is nice clean nice outside space

Easy to reach - drive through facility, just off the A38 going North towards Derby. They operated through lockdown so nice to pop in from time to time.

Drive through around 9.00 am 27/11/2020 ordered 2 small americano with semi skimmed milk and blueberry muffin staff repeated order correctly , paid at window and drove away , reached location to enjoy, no milk in coffee , very disappointed

Typical starbucks, Love the drive through.Quick efficient service, with friendly staff. Bit of a nightmare getting back on the A38, be careful.

A lovely coffee and pastry, sitting in the sunshine this afternoon. Starbucks is my favourite and always a pleasure to stop here. Lovely coffee, pastry and nice staff. Very clean.

I had my concerns about this place due to its accessibility to the A38 but popped in for the first time a week ago. Nice place, cool Aircon which was a nice reprise. Everything is clean and brand new. Good menu of drinks and reasonable...

Big Big fan of Starbucks (Read previous reviews) however on this occasion I feel a bit let down !! Called in on 25/07/19, hottest day ever on record, and the ice machine wasn't working, so no iced latte for me..!! Could we not nip down...

I know coffee is coffee but some places do it far better than others and this is one of them. The staff are nice and friendly and it’s a lovely relaxed place to stop for break.

Popped in here as are locals. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely toasties and coffee was excellent. Very close to the marina and just what we needed today! Would recommend.
