Starbucks in Fife

Visiting there for first time with two people. We all had a good time. I had lovely Iced matcha tea latte and delicious tomato and mozzarella croissant. Friendly staff.

Kirkcaldy Scotland Store: I ordered a black stainless steel tumbler before Christmas. I was advised it would take about 10 days. 10 days passed, no call from shop so went in to be advised that the tumbler I had ordered would be in on Christmas Eve and that I would receive a call to say it had arrived. Fast forward to 6 January 2024, still no call so went in again to be told that it was put out on shelf and sold. To top it all, place was understaffed and very busy and they did not want to deal with me. Their attitude stank to other customers waiting. It’s not the customers fault you’re busy!!!

Have been going since in opened. Staff always very pleasant and very accommodating for us as a family. Coffee great and yes they are dog friendly… I find this brilliant. Most doggies are very well behaved and why shouldn’t they be allowed in to sit with their family. Seen some miserable comments on here. Don’t know what some people expect.

Convenient with good coffee BUT you have to be careful where you sit! Recent visit with my daughter. If you prefer a comfy higher seat then the central oval padded bench is ideal however on a cold & windy day, the wind blows in as BOTH door are not working properly. They do not close tight automatically and MANY customers do not notice, often just walking through the 2 'gaps' or assuming the heavy doors will close tightly behind them - they don't!, This creates a draft that left me needing to put my coat over our knees. YES, obviously we could have moved but I am not a lover of hard wooden seats, the comfy soft ones are too low and most tables are left unclean. Surely all seats should be accessible & comfortable? Both doors look like they are going to close but the don't, not to any acceptable standard anyway. There is a note on the inside door asking customers to close it behind them but is that really the customers responsibility?? My daughter and myself had to get up to close the doors every few minutes as it was so drafty, I don't think this is the relaxing coffee shop experience we were hoping for considering we were both trying to focus on laptop work, yet found ourselves more distracted than we would have been at home. Why don't you fix your doors Starbucks?? Are fire doors not meant to actually work efficiently - 'require to be SELF CLOSING' as a REGULATED STANDARD? Simple research tells me they are! Just think what you would save on heating costs & increased customer satisfaction. Other observable points to note... Untidy.. tables not cleared Staff not wearing aprons Ordered 2 large drinks but received 1 large & 1 medium - no label on the mugs to check what had been put through the till & charged for. but these fade into insignificance compared to the drafts. Staff are pleasant and always busy, maybe a few more partners would allow the tables to be cleared too. Let's hope they have the doors fixed for your visit!

We stopped at Starbucks while we were at the retail park. The coffee was nice and hot but the place was full of dogs, including two on long leads playing together between the tables and barking. Not pleasant when you're trying to have a quiet coffee. A member of staff was playing with the dogs and didn't wash her wash when she went back to serve.

The service was unexplainable. We paid ten pounds for for a drink that was supposed to be less than five. I would never come back and no one has cleaned the place for who knows how long there is virtually mould growing around the place.

Ordered a bacon roll and asked for it to be extra cooked Still wasn't cooked properly Got it re done and still awful and roll was inedible Staff were so unpleasant I'll stick to Costa, who know how to do a bacon roll and who also offer toast

I have noticed that after 18:00 hours the staff close of most of the seating area. This makes your choice of seat very limited and you end up getting a uncomfortable seat. It does look like the staff are doing it to save them cleaning the area, which is crazy making customers all squashed into a small area. I have reported this to head office and do hope they will get back to me. For this alone this outlet of Starbucks gets one star for laziness.
