Lovely wee stop off for a coffee. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable. A gem of a place and will be back

Stopped in from a road trip for some well needed teas and coffees. Lovely store lay out and the staff were nothing but professional and very welcoming. Would highly recommend for a pit stop and will definitely make a point of stopping in again.

Cost of the food and drink is absolutely astronomical but I have to say the staff are lovely and really can not do enough. I really feel sorry for them being expected to charge these prices though. But what lovely professional people who really deserve more credit. Prices - 1 star Staff - 5 stars

Worst Starbucks ever been to. Total chaos, wrong order, rude member of staff, another guy tried to make up for it. Dirty toilet. Need more staff!

I was picking up food from here and had an issue and the self proclaimed “Manager” said there was nothing he could do. I say “Manager” as his whole attitude was nothing short of an immature young boy so I asked for his Area Managers name to raise this with him and he said he was refusing to give me his details. I asked did he have his Managers email and name and he said that he does have them but was refusing to let me know what they were. I was astonished so asked one last time to confirm he was refusing to do this and he said yes he was refusing to do this so I asked his name and he said that he would not tell me his name either. Well Hayden, turns out I managed to find your name and Starbucks could do itself a huge favour and tear your contract up. Attitude nothing short of arrogant and I would never use this store again and would encourage nobody to use it as it’s so bad and so badly run. Just look at the other reviews and would explain a lot if he is indeed the manager as it’s clear he cannot manage anything.

Dirty tables and food all over the floor while stage we’re outside smoking or vaping , found it hard to get a clean table and we were the only customer s , give it a wide berth

Myself and my friends live locally, we were excited when Starbux first opened at Annan Road. I've been coming here since it opened and I consider myself as what's called a regular here. I've seen many staff and managers come and go since then which is typical of most business's in this small town. I have always enjoyed the location and atmosphere it provides, I done most of my teaching qualification essays here on my laptop, over a nice cup of Coffee, using the WiFi. The staff this year Hayden and Tyree have been lovely and work very hard at making good conversations and making me feel one of the team not just a customer! It would be from my point of view be good to see the regional manager to select a good manager to run this store because it does provide a place of peace for those searching for it. I hope it continues to maintain its good coffee and good atmosphere then I can continue to enjoy the benefits of that implemented into my lifestyle and needs as a Lecturer. I come here for a break and it's underestimated the importance of having this locally. Thanks to the staff who are friendly and make an effort to keep the place clean provide good tasting refreshments and a smile on their face despite their challenges you are to be comended.

Staff couldn’t look less impressed that they had customers. Thought maybe they were having a bad day. I was staying away with a friend at nearby lodges so thought I’d treat us both to a decent coffee….how wrong I was! Bought 2 Grande Caramel Macchiato’s to take away and drove back to the lodge (5 mins away) when I opened cups back at lodge the were extremely poorly made and I should have ordered a tall as both cups were half filled.

Great coffee place lovely and clean BUT don't go within half an hour of it closing as the toilet facilities will have been cleaned and they'll be shut!!!

Arrived at 4:55 staff seen us arriving ran to lock door. Website says open to 6pm. Have since read the reviews. Seems this is typical behaviour. The staff need a course on customer service.

A super tidy and clean store with friendly staff, who are both knowledgeable and efficient in their service. A perfect place to sit and read for an hour and to enjoy some great beverages.

Terrible, the server was rude when I questioned the drink ordered. I asked for a cortado and was served an espresso with a drop of milk in. She was then extremely rude when I stated the espresso mug the cortado was served in didn't even contain a double espresso. I was told to have a look at the 'report cards' if I didn't believe her. Hot chocolate was disgusting no cream it was cold, Americans was awful, staff was not very pleasant, don't waste your money in this place

The guy that served up rubbed his nose and face MULTIPLE times during our half hour visit. 5 cheese toastie was disgusting, hot chocolate was like warm and far too much ice is my drink

Ordered my usual Coffee which was more expensive than in other locations (£5). wanted food but did not want to pay £5 for a frozen pre-made sandwich. It's airport Starbucks prices in a complete dump of a location (weeds, litter) on the side of a busy road on the outskirts of Dumfries. Being located on travel lodge property does not justify the prices. Service- the 2 baristas at the counter were fine, no complaints but no praise. Environment - it was quiet with just two other tables having customers. took about 7 minutes for the two at the counter to clear mess from the tables those customers left, despite having nobody to serve. another negative was what I assume was the manager with another staff member sitting at another table having a meeting about driving sales. So unprofessional, In this quiet shop all I can hear is them talking about how to make more money. Finally- I used the bathroom before leaving. absolutely filthy. The cubicle walls and floor were covered in sticky dirt and bugs, dust and hair were stuck to the walls door and floor. That has not been cleaned properly for a minimum of 2 weeks. This was further offensive due to the minimum 4 staff working who had no customers to deal with. you can't respect customers enough to clean the bathroom surfaces once in a while? overall poor, I've probably used 70-80 Starbucks around the world and this is bottom 10. Some of them are so special and really relate the brand to good moments in life in new locations. This one is not that.

In what can best be described as bland surroundings the service time from ordering coffee to receiving it was rather slow and even when we got it, the discovery of lipstick on a dirty cup meant a further wait. Thereafter, the coffees were fine, as were our panini, and to be fair - the young lady apologised profusely re the dirty cup. Bottom line is that, if passing by and ready for a break, we would likely use this place again, but I wouldn’t make a deliberate effort to do so.

Visited the shop during the week and will definitely be back. Perfect cup of coffee, thoroughly enjoyed it. Way better than the high Street shop. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Keep up the good work 😀

Visited earlier today with the girlfriend, great banter with the staff and the Caramel Frappe was awesome. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area again.

Poor cleaning after customers leave, nobody sanitises tables or chairs. I find really lacking care for customers especially when Covid-19 cases are rising again.

Visited today, and going by the previous comments nothing has changed. Any manager worth his salt would not accept the level of service given today. It was not busy but two staff on duty in their own little world's. Served when they felt like it....

Just thought I’d give this a review due to the helpful, friendliness of the young lady working there. I picked a ‘Mexican bean wrap’, that was my mistake. Starbucks coffee is Starbucks coffee, but it’s a nice location, plenty of parking, and a friendly smile.

Go here for breakfast when we stay at the Premier Inn and visited last Sunday. Place is always quiet when we've been but it's clean and the service is good.
