Starbucks in Glasgow City

We chose this location as other eateries were extremely busy but no queue here - and now I know why! We received our order but had to ask for serviettes from a server who was standing idle behind the counter. She handed us a couple of paper napkins but I thought that might be a hint that the container needed refilling but no attempt was made to do this as she returned to lounging behind the counter. The place was not busy and we made our way upstairs through a trail of litter then had to clear a table of dirty dishes before we could sit down. On closer inspection the problem was not just the debris on the floor but the floor itself was filthy. A visit to the loo was a shocker to find the toilet in a most disgusting, unhygienic state. I will certainly never be back here.

Stood waiting for 15 minutes for 3 black coffees, while the staff stood and had a good chat with their pals about how hungover they were. Had to check they hadn’t forgotten the order. No one clearing tables, surprising lack of cleaning during Covid. Staff not all wearing masks. No energy the usual Starbucks have or friendly faces.

Visité este Starbucks (Silverburn más bajo) hoy, utilicé la aplicación Starbucks para ordenar con anticipación, así que para cuando estacione y camine al Starbucks, mi pedido estará listo Bueno, llegué al Starbucks, fui al área de recolección como decía la aplicación, esperé alrededor de 5 minutos, así que decidí hacer cola en la caja registradora ya que esta era la única forma de hablar con alguien, le dije a la dama que Hice mi pedido a través de la aplicación y mostró mi recibo: puso los ojos en blanco y le gritó a la otra dama si había un pedido móvil, y esta segunda dama solo me miró y luego dijo aquí (cuando me pasó la taza) Realmente me desconcierta por qué una compañía contrataría a estas personas para servir a los clientes, claramente tienen cero habilidades de servicio al cliente y claramente no tienen ningún interés en hacer el trabajo para el que están empleados Lo mejor de esto es que la bebida que recibí estaba tibia en el mejor de los casos, y me faltaron algunos extras que agregué a través de la aplicación, a saber, la leche No volveré a este Starbucks en particular, pero le daré otra oportunidad a esta compañía en una ubicación diferente

La cafetería Silverburn Starbucks se ha renovado recientemente, pero esto ha implicado colgar múltiples bombillas muy brillantes justo encima de las mesas principales (que la gente parece estar evitando ahora) justo por encima del nivel de los ojos. Sólo con mirarlos te hará daño a los ojos. Con la iluminación brillante exagerada, esta cafetería no es una buena opción si está buscando un lugar acogedor y relajante. También tocan música que no tiene sentido porque entra en conflicto con la música mucho más alta que viene de la tienda principal de Silverburn, lo que significa que no puedes concentrarte y disfrutar de cualquiera de las dos. A pesar de la renovación, el establecimiento todavía no está muy limpio y el personal no es nada amable.

Visité esta tienda por enésima vez, ya que a mi hija le gusta el café. Como de costumbre, la tienda está sucia y la cola larga. Solo tenían vasos de papel disponibles, sin embargo, después de una larga espera, una bebida hosca me pasó una bebida hirviente de una manera apática. La siguiente bebida también fue empujada a través del mostrador sin el beneficio de la funda de cartón. Cuando pregunté si podía tener mangas, el agradecimiento murió en mi boca cuando la cara hosca golpeó dos mangas hacia abajo en el punto más alejado desde donde estaba parado. Servicio horrible, personal horrible

I’ve been visiting Silverburn for years (I worked in various shops within the centre over a period of 8 years and also used to live locally). I only go to this Starbucks when I’m meeting friends from my old workplace as one of them likes the coffee in Starbucks. I don’t like to complain or only highlight poor customer service, as I think people are too quick to review negatives, rather than positives, however I feel compelled to review about this Starbucks as it has been the same experience for me from day one. The place is filthy and badly in need of refurbishment - I don’t believe it has been refurbished since Silverburn first opened, and it is badly needed! The sofas and chairs are so old and dirty that I feel unclean sitting on them and the decor is old and dated. It may be due to the lack of refurbishment that makes staff unconcerned about the mess of the place. I was in there with friends for around an hour last night in the balcony area upstairs and not once did a member of staff come up to clear/clean tables, sweep the floor etc - the place was so dirty and we weren’t the only people there who made comment on how filthy it was. The staff also look completely unenthused to be working there - a smile goes a long way, some of them could do with being told this. I’m not very adventurous with my teas/coffees, so more often than not I will opt for a regular tea - I don’t know why I do this as every time I get it from Starbucks it tastes like hot water - I know tea can be bland but if I can get a better cup of tea from a store bought tea bag then something is wrong. I would hope the higher ups at Starbucks would look at completely redecorating the place, which I think would give staff a more enjoyable and positive outlook in their workplace. The Starbucks up at the Cineworld on the first floor is modern and clean, and this should be followed through in all branches - the only thing the Cineworld Starbucks lacks, unfortunately, is any atmosphere, which is why I don’t like going there either. Hopefully next time I end up being dragged to this Starbucks there will be plans under way to make it better.

This seems to be the general state of Starbucks, what used to be a reputable brand and good place to go has taken a massive nosedive, and this particular Starbucks falls into this category! Firstly place is filthy, staff look miserable waiting time of over 20 mins for drinks it’s not acceptable disappointing and we won’t be back!!

I couldn't find the franchise store Starbucks up at the cinema on here, so using this one instead. I used this Starbucks as its open and a lot of comfortable seating, I went to this one as I had to do some college work and I felt this suited a better environment. I couldn't fault this store. Staff were friendly, inviting, offered alternative drinks and food as well as asked if I were okay and if I wanted anything else whilst sitting down. The store is clean and fresh and provides a comfortable sitting. I will be back here more often. This experience wants me to pay the extra pennies for the franchise pricing.

Well been twice with pram and baby but lift was out of order both times so left. Went to another place nearby. One of the party wanted an iced drink so went back - no luck - no ice!!!! There was only about six other customers. Staff didn't seem to be concerned so won't go back especially as there are plenty options in the mall.

Lovely coffee experience. Served by a charming young man by the name of Nathan. He should get a pay rise. Can I have his number?

Friendly staff, and nice food with a changing repertoire . The seating area upstairs has a pleasant view of the shopping centre.

I have visited this Starbucks on a number of occasions with my daughters and can honestly say it has to be the dirtiest i have ever witnessed. Most of the time there are dirty cups and food waste all over the upstairs seating area but you can usually find one or two clean tables. Arrived upstairs today to find nearly every table had dirty cups, was wet or had general food waste on it, the floor and waste around one sitting area was nothing short of disgraceful. Both small tables were full of rubbish and dirty and the surrounding floor area was soaked with milk/coffee spillage and all sorts of paper and food waste. The toilets are just not worth talking about and I don't know if they have ever been cleaned. I cannot believe how badly kept this outlet is and especially in a shopping centre of this standard. Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves with the state this place is in and this is not the first time i have witnessed this place in such a mess.

Good spacious establishment. Coffee, tea and sandwiches all fresh an enjoyable. Value OK too. Worth checking out.

They serve all the usual things, perfectly nice staff, I have been here several times before. I did not realise there was an upstairs. To the rear of the shop there are stairs which lead to a second floor where there a more chairs and...

We visited today and of all the Starbucks I have visited this was by far the worst. They had sold out of most of the advertised special cold drinks and were in such a rush to serve you quickly you didn't get a chance to think of an alternative choice (and the staff were no help with suggestions). My main complaint is that the restaurant was filthy- from the light fittings to the tables to the floors and the toilets were disgusting. The standards need to be seriously raised in this branch of Starbucks and I , for one, will not be back there.

I've used this Starbucks regularly when visiting Silverburn. The large upstairs seating area usually ensures a table is free, even during busy periods. This visit was on Boxing Day morning. It wasn't particularly busy but the staff serving clearly didn't have their heart in it....
