Not worth the money, I wanted to treat myself as I was working a very long day, ordered my favourite Chai tea latte, and an almond croissant. There were some people in front of me, and 4 people behind the counter, it was about 1/2 before closing time Sunday afternoon. I went an waited for my tea and had the croissant, two people were obviously cleaning and tidying up, only actually preparing the orders, which one was apparently a very big order of cold drinks. I thought I would enjoy the croissant while I waited, it turned out to be utterly dry and not nice and no almond filling inside. I had two mouthful and put it in the bin, I waited for my tea and waited for my, there were still only one person making the orders, so I left with a very bad taste of not being serviced, as there was still 4 people behind the counter, but not 4 people service the customers. Priorities looked very off.

security staff who is about 5’6 and worked by the door on the 20th and 21st of January 2021 is incredibly rude, extremely unprofessional and talks to customers as if they were they’re friends. He might not be a cashier but he is still working in a store so I would’ve expected him to have at least some kind of training on how to deal with customers. Also when I had tried to advised him on maybe saying hello and being more polite instead of whistling at me and telling me to look at the sign he has told me to “bugger off and never come back to the store”. So yeah I will not be returning back and shopped for my grandma who’s at risk in Nearby Morrisons where I had no problem.

I have been here several times and often the service is very good. However, it can often be very slow with far too much chit chat behind the counter. I once overheard the staff talking about their love lives. Not really appropriate. However their caramel iced latte is better than other Starbucks I've tried!!

Ordered a quick coffee before jumping on a train. It was not quick service, the staff were struggling to cope and looked rushed off their feet. I’m sure it’s fine normally but doesn’t look like they employ enough staff.

I am a Starbucks fan and usually go there to sit and enjoy a nice coffee. The coffee was fine however this seemed like the saddest looking Starbucks I've ever come across. No atmosphere, lack of friendly staff, wasn't cosy.

A very good Starbucks. Decent choice of sandwiches etc. Cafe was clean, well run and staff on top of everything. What else to say? Recommended

Stopped briefly here while meeting clients in East Grinstead It a decent Starbucks and those if you that frequent them will not be surprised to hear that the service was courteous, friendly and speedy It has a decent little area outside to catch a few rays of sunshine and they even supply ashtrays for those that smoke. It sits adjacent to the Sainsbury's car park so the vista isn't much to write home about but it's a decent place to grab a coffee, biscuit or sandwich whilst in the area..

The Starbucks in East Grinstead is inside Sainsbury's . Lots of free and easy parking. Coffee is always good, if you like their products . The staff are friendly and well trained. They know their regulars by name, which is nice. I would like to see different snacks. The selection never seems to change and new items are often slightly weird. They do for example great Almond Croissants, but have usually run out by 10.00. At the moment they have been replaced by a Swedish equivalent which is incredibly heavy and stodgy. I have to struggle to find something that I like as a snack. Their chocolate cookies are great but not for everyday. Visiting is a good overall experience, but the food choices let them down.

We visited this Starbucks branch on a Saturday evening while driving home, and wanted to take advantage of the buy one get one free Christmas drinks they had on offer. We got the standard Starbucks service and quality of drinks however we were a bit disappointed there was a lot of mess around the entire store. Every table had something on it; cups, mugs, splillages so we and other customers had to move things to find a decent place to sit and it struck us as odd seeing as it wasn't very busy at all.

I always try support independent coffee shops anywhere I go and the avoid Starbucks and Costas of the world wherever I can. I have always made an exceptional with the East Grinstead branch of Starbucks because of it's convenience and the pleasant, cheerful and helpful disposition of the staff working there. In fact, for some years, I considered myself a regular. Sadly, this has all changed with many staff moving on and general slide in all round quality of the branch. I would go as far as saying this branch does not rank very high at all in my experience of global coffee chains and one to be avoided. Costa and Nero branches nearby in town are far better options.

There is a good choice of coffee but the last two times I have been I have had to wait over ten minutes for a drink! The new phone app that lets people pre order and queue jump does not help!

The thing with Starbucks, is you always know what you are going to get. The difference with this one is even with it being quiet, there is not one clean table to sit at, while the staff chat amongst themselves behind the counter. Desperately needs a decent manager to knock this place into shape - I should add this is a frequent occurrence.

Coffee and staff are always excellent. The eats are now more interesting . I always struggle to find something that I want, my wife less so! The new Blackberry Mohito is great but ask for minimum ice or there is practically no fluid to drink Staff are always really on it, and welcoming

A busy cafe attached to the local sainsburys. Service was quick but sadly not many free tables that had been cleaned and food debris on the floors, it was cleaned whilst we were there but could do with a quicker turn around

Attached to Sainsbury , so easy parking and very convenient for the Bluebell railway,.Coffee really always good, the seating is fine with outside available. The staff are charming and very quick. The staff have mostly been there for some years which is a good sign. Some go away to study at uni and come back during the holidays. They all seem to enjoy their work and very welcoming . This is a very well run coffee shop and a pleasure to visit.

This was my first visit to re-vamped Starbucks following Sainsbury's building redevelopment and I was not impressed. The seating is very strange. I see someone else has commented on the long bench seating with low back-rests which add nothing to the comfort of the seats. There are a few round tables with chairs at them and a curious arrangement of six chairs - three either side of two very small, low square tables. It looks as though someone got a job lot of mixed seating and decided to put everything here. It's all a bit like a Railway Station waiting room with the addition, when I was there, of a couple of loaded shopping trollies belonging to supermarket customers.

Great place for a lunch, quick drink after shopping or coffee catch up with friends. can be popular therefor they could benefit from playing around with seating to create more space perhaps. Also they don't always do the name on the cup which is a bug for me haha please always do the names on cups ;) otherwise great!

Having a Starbucks inside Sainsbury works really well for us.in fact it works well for Sainsbury as we shop there rather than Waitrose just because we love the coffee. The staff are always professional and extremely welcoming. The coffee is great

A visit to the supermarket is not all bad.....................here in East Grinstead tucked away near the station and at the end of Railway Approach is a Sainsbury's with a Starbucks. All the normal things you would expect, although the filter coffee was starting to become stewed.

The food here is delicious and it’s amazing to find so many vegan options that also taste lovely. The Bronuts are inspired! Worth a visit alone. The kitchen opening times are a bit hit and miss which can be frustrating. The staff are very friendly. The decor is pleasant although the music can be too loud and distracting. The only change that could make it better would be if it opened all day especially at weekends.

Getting Off the train at Brighton railway station you will see this excellent cafe/Restaurant. We came here last year and it was just as friendly & welcoming as before..Plenty of seats and tables with a friendly staff. Our Lattes were tasty & delightful.. Well worth a visit.

I'd never visited before. I despise Tim whatever his name is for backing the UK ruining Brexit, and I assumed everyone in any Wetherspoons would be of his viewpoint so I've stayed away. However, I realise that was stupid, and actually I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Service was very fast. Drinks are ridiculously cheap. Two pints and a coke for the same price as a pint almost in Brighton. People who were eating looked happy enough with their food, again, cheap. And the best thing of all was that it was full of people enjoying themselves, where as most pubs are empty. I'll be going back. Easy to reserve a table, spaciously laid out, bar staff were stressed but polite, toilets were clean, place was clean. Nothing to complain about really.
