Petek's On The Park in Mid Sussex

The food here is delicious and it’s amazing to find so many vegan options that also taste lovely. The Bronuts are inspired! Worth a visit alone. The kitchen opening times are a bit hit and miss which can be frustrating. The staff are very friendly. The decor is pleasant although the music can be too loud and distracting. The only change that could make it better would be if it opened all day especially at weekends.

We visited Saturday Waited over 30 mins to order Food arrived mushrooms were so greasy The whole place was stuffy and our eyes were stinging because of the oil cooking in the kitchen - there is no ventilation It was very stuffy in there Using a QR code just to see a menu is also so pointless When we left we had to go home and change our clothes and spray jackets with fabreeze as we smelt like we’d been in a greedy spoon cafe all day Really disappointing Used to be a lovely place Won’t return

How can such an amazing place go down hill so much. We went for breakfast with the children. Took nearly an hour and a half for 5 breakfasts. Children’s pancakes cold and greasy. No one cared. There were 6 Members of staff and 15 customers ( although serval left before their food arrived ). We had been before and amazing. Mine and my wife’s meal okay. Certainly not worth the money any more. What a shame

Well well well! You know when you keep meaning to try somewhere near you but never get around to it? What a joy to discover it’s a total beauty! Great treats, lovely coffee, such a warm vibe. Perfect for family’s, couples - I’m currently sat with my wife on a Monday “work from home day” kids are in nursery. A real find. Check it out. (Decided to review after eating all the delicious pastry’s…home made Baklava YUMMY! So picture is crumbs only)

Stopped in for a coffee and delicious baklava; would definitely recommend. Will be returning for a full lunch/brunch soon. Lovely, friendly staff.
