Drivethrough taken this morning and fantastic service. It makes sure a lovely difference to hear a pleasant voice on the intercom. The lady was polite, professional and willing to engage in her tone and words. WELL DONE - its makes a difference. 5 star service to match the 5 star product.

Visited as passing by and had a really nice hot chocolate and a muffin. Lovely friendly staff and nice and warm inside Great service Only one criticism is that some of the "comfy" white chairs by the window are very badly worn and need replacing. Not the managers or staffs fault as this is a franchise and the owner needs to replace. Staff always smiling Will go back

Filthy shop. No tables had been cleaned. We managed to find a relatively clean table, then came the debacle of ordering our drinks! We ordered 3 simple coffees but the whole order was wrong, none of the drinks came at the same time, and the quality was poor. I havnt been to this shop for many years, and I wish I'd stayed away. The shop has no manager to organise, instead only a few teenagers are left to run the shop. I will not return.

The outside tables were covered in old dirty cups and rubbish. Inside was grubby and dark, the bins inside were overflowing with rubbish. The selection of drinks in the chiller were limited either still or sparking water or red juice, nothing really for kids! Then we were told there was no tea!! All these fancy cold drink and no tea to make them! Great! Had coffee which was poor quality! I honestly had a better coffee in Asda cafe on the weekend! I don’t know if it was the lack of staff or enthusiasm that was the issue in this branch.

Questionable Hygiene - drinks were binned straight away. We have never visited this branch, normally going to Coryton further long the M4. We won’t be going back. We used the drive through for three drinks and found a hair in the foam of my sons babycino. I don’t normally take the lid off the drinks but on this occasion did, because a hair on the side of the cup wouldn’t come off. I realised it was clipped under the lid. I toll the lid off and there it was, instantly making me feel sick. All three drinks were binned and customer services contacted xxx with photos. They weren’t very interested as this is a franchise, the Magic Bean Company. Disgusting hygiene, Covid or not.

Rude girl with red hair, rolled eyes at me when I asked for it in a cup when I have paid to be sat in. She was miserable and didn’t seem like she wants to be there. It’s Starbucks who normally pride themselves on being so friendly and positive! It’s a shame!

I quickly ran into the the building to grab a coffee and check what sandwiches were available. It was quiet, no one was queuing and the drive thru was empty too. I ordered immediately and had to ask 24 minutes later how long my coffee would be. They hadn’t even started making it and asked me 4 times what had I ordered. There we two men also waiting for their orders. There were 4 staff making the coffees but just laughing and talking but not producing any drinks, apart from the one lady serving the drive thru. I will be avoiding this place, unless you have all your life to waste waiting. God, they didn’t even acknowledge how long I had been waiting. I received my coffee after I asked where it was. 27 minutes to wait for one coffee. Starbucks, get your priorities right. You are nothing without you our customers

I try to give places the benefit of the doubt as everyone makes mistakes… but my god, this place is awful. I regularly use the drive thru and my order is always wrong or I’m stuck in a queue of barely 4 cars and it takes 30 mins when the inside isn’t even busy. I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte, waited 20 mins when there was only me and 2 other cars for them to give me an oat milk, sugar free syrup latte? Not even remotely the same. I asked for a cookies and cream cheesecake muffin on a different occasion and I paid for it alongside my drink… only to be told AFTER they’d taken my money, that they didn’t have any? Why sell stock if you haven’t got it. They don’t have the biggest “sweets” section, it takes 5 seconds to glance and see. I visited November with friends and sat inside with our babies and I waited 20 mins for my eggnog latte with a restless baby who didn’t want to stand around only to be asked why I’m standing there. They’d somehow forgotten my order but taken my money? The staff are rude, moody, chat to one another rather than make drinks and have no phone manner (for drive thru). It’s also always dirty because they cba to clean up tables. Pencoed is out the way for me but I now make the extra journey there because they always get my order right.

I was served by Nathan at this Starbucks, he was very attentive and polite. I then left with my drinks, my dog came to see what we had bought, and Nathan then comes out to my car to give me a puppicino for her after seeing her eye up my drinks! Which I had never thought of getting her! Thank you Nathan for exceptional service and going above and beyond, she loved it !

Asked for a caramel Frappuccino coffee based with cream on top. Told we don’t do cream anymore, asked why not twice and was ignored. Then after a 15 minute wait at the window after I paid I get this…. With a straw which doesn’t fit unless you squeeze it but the you can get the drink out. Every other Starbucks asks if you want cream. This is just the end of a long list of bad experiences there, staff are always rude. Didn’t even have an apology for the long wait! Seriously in need of customer service training!!

I've been there twice this week (Skinny latte, sugar free syrup and extra shot of coffee x2) and both times they got my order wrong. Day 1 - full fat milk Day 2 - no syrup, even though it was written on the cup Not a difficult order, and the place was empty so not as though they were rushed odd their feet :(

My friend and I visited Starbucks on the 29th November 2019 at 20:25 & unfortunately, the whole experience was disappointing. Upon ordering our drinks, I noticed the barista’s were going for the non-recyclable drink cups rather than the “staying in mugs. I queried this & received the reply: “We shut in half hour so we are using the cups” - this was disappointing as there’s nothing quite like sitting inside with a hot drink in a mug rather than a non-recyclable cup! (Was this because they didn’t want more to clean up when they closed?!) This was frustrating as they weren’t shutting for another 30mins & we felt like we were already being rushed out before being sat down.We moved to the counter to add milk/sugar to our drinks & found that there was no milk on the counters to self-serve so we had to approach the staff to ask for milk. Again it seems due to them shutting at 21:00 they removed the milk from the counter (probably to start cleaning up earlier)! We were given the milk in a plastic bag to try & pour the milk which was bizarre & would have been easier in its appropriate milk jug. Again - 30mins before close & the milk wasn’t available for us to access ourselves?! 20:50 comes along & by this time we are well aware that the place shuts at 21:00 yet the staff were keen to remind us that they were shutting in 10minutes by putting the chairs onto the tables & telling us directly that we would have to leave soon. I used to frequent Bridgend Starbucks a lot, though 99% of the time I would only use the drive thru. Overall we were wholly disappointed with the whole experience of drinking inside & certainly won’t do so (particularly in the evening) in the near future.

Terrible staff literally didn’t care about the service, place was filthy dirty stuck to the floors, counters was filthy, one bathroom was blocked the other was filthy blood on the seat, floor was wet with god knows what, I told the girl and all I got was sure look at that. Slow as anything, frappe was just solid ice, hot chocolate was freezing cold. Couldn’t even be bothered to complain after the lack of service.

Staff are friendly enough but the service is extremely slow. I’ve waited at least 15 minutes in the past from ordering to receiving my drinks. On 4 occasions I have wanted to order a cold brew and on 4 occasions they have not had any. It’s not just this countless times my husband has gone to order a flavoured ice tea but they never have the lemonade! Just take it off your menu it you can’t supply it. I love Starbucks but this establishment is poorly run.

Poor service with lack of staff. Three people working, with one covering the drive through and this was on a Saturday. I was second in the queue and had to wait 20 minutes. No clean table in sight and customers having to clean their own tables. Wanted sit in but had no plates as they were all out. Therefore food was served in take away bags !!!Messy and dirty place !!! Absolute joke !!Made complaint there and also with HQ and had no response. Arrogance !!!!

I often go here and sometimes it's fine, however quite a lot of the time the staff at the window don't know what you've ordered and what you're paying for and have gotten my order wrong (and actually given me the wrong order, as in a completely different drink) on at least five occasions now. I don't know what exactly it is about this branch as the staff seem to change quite often, however I've never had this problem with any other Starbucks branch, just this one. Would be better ideally if they could keep the same staff so that customers actually get served by people that know what they're doing instead of continually making mistakes and never getting anywhere.

Come here quite often but tonight I came with my friend to do some school work and the coffee was absolutely vile. Not up to the usual standard I expect of a high established coffee chain and the staff were rude and cold towards customers and the wait for 2 drinks was 10 minutes! It wasn’t even busy there. My cookie really had crumbled, on two corners, so I quite politely asked that it be changed. It was but with out one word being spoken by the server, which was strange as the customer before me, who didn't actually buy anything she had quite a nice chat too! The cake we ordered,too,didn't look like the full slice, which to be fair, can be said of the whole store.

First time we used the drive through. Gave our order of 2 X drinks but when we got to the window they had no clue what we wanted so had to wait. My daughters drink was not available so she ordered a chocolate cream which was tasteless and my vanilla latte was smothered with sugar free vanilla which I did not ask for.

Have been in here several times as we love a good Starbucks me and the missus!....But every time we have been here it's just awfully slow service....the oldest employee must be about 15 years old.....it's a little annoying when they take your order and you wait 10 minutes for your coffee standing at the end of the counter.....and a spotty school kid says 'sorry Sir what did you order again?'...... I wouldn't normally complain on one offs but every time we visit there's just a little disorganised chaos!.......It's not gonna stop us from visiting as it's an alternative the one at Mcarthur Glen.......but they just need to cross match the staff!!

I have used this branch several times. Even thou it is next to a main carriageway and a busy retail park its never been too busy. There is a variety of seating arrangements so that just about every type of person can be catered for.
