Starbucks in Cambridge

It is a very good and lovely coffeehouse lovely food AND lovely coffee

I don’t often go to starbucks but today the baristas were so lovely, so friendly and helpful, made sure I was happy with the drink and talked me through it and offered to make something else if I didn’t like it. So friendly and nice I had to leave a review :)

Good sized Starbucks in the centre of Cambridge right by the bus station , so good for getting food drink etc before getting your bus

Really friendly staff. The atmosphere was very cozy.

Not fair price. Americano tall (take away). You can see different price: on the table is 3.28£ and in fact is 3.33£. Not an issue but wrong information between on display and when you pay for it.

Awful service, drinks were cold and 2 of them were only half full and over 40mins late than the time given when placed the order

Came in here earlier today, ordered and the staff were apologetic as they were running behind. Lovely coffee and children pleased with their brownies! Starbucks over Costa any day 😎

Refurbished! The new layout makes a lot more sense, especially the somewhat hidden area with the big table, ideal for a group discussion or simply studying together over coffee.

Really nice place, staff are friendly and the service was great. Latte was awesome, didn't have food but what was on sale looked nice.

No tables are available, People working on lap tops hogging tables. Left walked In the park on my walk past saw a seat and table free luckily.

The young gentleman who was wearing glasses is the only respected staff member. This is the rudest, busiest-looking but unproductive Starbucks I have ever (9/10/2024 at 7:23pm)

The only good thing about Starbucks is their bathroom.

Went in to grab a coffee to go, and ordered my drink with light ice, the two girls working continued to loudly make fun of me and speak awfully about me whilst making my drink, they also seemed to lack common sense and instead of just putting more milk in my drink, they just put half a large cup of cold foam on top whilst complaining about how when you order light ice that you need to specify you want more milk instead. So to make a joke out of the situation they just made me a bad drink, I mean the serious disrespect and rudeness from these two girls was ridiculous, and I wouldn’t expect it from a child. I’m sure there are nice workers here because I’ve been to this store before, but whoever those two working Tuesdays are need to be taught a lesson in customer service and basic respect.

Not sure that it's fair that all the seats were taken by what looked like university students on laptops. Ended up having to sit on stools and our granddaughter aged 4 found that pretty awkward. We ended up having to sit with her on my knee which was not ideal. Will find somewhere else next time

Coffee spilt as put in drivers bag loose

They've found a magic way to make decaf and caffeinated frappuccino in the same blender. Appalling behaviour, didn't correct it even when challenged. Get some decent baristas. This can be dangerous for people's health.

Bit of a stretch to call a 3" long cup a "tall" coffee... very, very disappointed for over £9.60 for 2 drinks that are supposed to be "salted caramel maple" flavoured, I would at the bare minimum expect them to be "salted caramel maple" flavoured but no, very very bog standard coffee, to the point where the unsweetened instant coffee I have at home tastes nicer that the stuff I was served here! And again, to call a 3" tall coffee "tall" is extremely misleading, not to mention that 75% of it was ice.

This is the worst Starbucks ever. The team doesn't care about customers. Service is 0. None of the staff are interested in cleaning up dirty dishes. A customer stands in an empty cafe and waits for his time to place an order, while the staff jokes and communicates with each other.

Claim that the business is open on Sunday when it’s not. Wasted one hour waiting for the delivery.

Inaccessible to wheelchairs and prams they must rethink their layout, its impossible to get to the back of the store to order

Filthy place, full of students.

Not hugely impressed by the atmosphere or the service, which felt a little begrudging and my chocolate twist tasted stale. HOWEVER - my decaf oatmilk latté was good and we'll behaved dogs are allowed in, so I'll definitely go back. So for those who don't know, STARBUCKS LET YOU BRING YOUR DOG IN! 🥳 I'll overlook most things if my pooch can join me.

Entirely my fault. I don't know why I paid £4.10 to have a pint of coloured ice water (they said it was tea but I couldn't taste any of that).

Pretty standard Starbucks. Not great atmosphere and Toilets were not clean.

Don’t know whether the manager check this or not, but the customer service is really bad, the staff is so arrogant and big head. Went to another shop, the staff were chatting and I had to wait until they finished their chat…

Coffee — Good Ambience — Very good Timing — till 7:00 Pm which is an advantage over other cafés in this area. You can study and work without any interference from the others. Also the location is very good.

This spot has a cozy atmosphere and serves up great coffee as usual. It’s my go-to place for studying, as the environment is perfect for concentration and productivity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and productive study space!

WiFi doesn't work, and can't receive phone signal. What a waste of money.

I like Starbucks Mocha and go there for this only. Also the atmosphere for work and study is very good.

Customer service was very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I accidentally picked up another customer's drink, and the staff immediately made them another one. I received my order fast and efficiently too!

Came in here, waited 5 minutes for staff to attend to us and then another 15 minutes for drinks that were very expensive, this starbucks not worth the price.

Absolutely no eggnog latte. No idea why Starbucks mentioned it's back when NOWHERE IN CAMBRIDGE and I visited 6x of them - is this drink. I understand its limited and available just once a year but what a coincidence that all starbucks do not sell it... 🤔 probably just marketing thing so my advice: don't even bother to visit... 29.12.2022 this drink cannot be found anywhere... also Starbucks- don't you think if this is THAT popular that you have sold out, you should restock? Especially its just ONCE A YEAR?

Busy as near bus station. Mobile orders are placed at the side of the counter, but the counter is being used by customers. You have to cut their conversations so that you can squeeze in and get your drink 🤣

Had my coffee in the store. Had to fight for having my flatwhite in a mug... Lazy staff overthere They didn't even bother to arrange the room properly.

Visited here yesterday on the way back to London. Great Starbucks and friendly staff too. The accessible toilets were also clean and had hooks to hang my bag and coat which was a relief.

Coffee OK but tables were uncleaned and covered with used cups. Toilets appeared not to have been cleaned in quite a while. Plenty of far better places in Cambridge

Amazing customer service from Zoe, who helped with bringing food and drink to table without my asking for help as I had a wheelchair to deal with

As normal in Starbucks slow moving que, decided to have 4 ice cold drinks as advertised, got to the servers and was told the machine had just broken down. The had a sign out saying so just as you got to the servers. Had to settle for fruit juice,the lady then came out and asked if we would like some iced water , the machine was now working again . 😝

I tried the new 'Nitro cold brew' coffee today. It is absolutely awful, not cold and tastes revolting. It resembles a normal coffee that has been left out overnight and has gone stale. First and last time!

Nadia who served me was extremely rude and patronising. It wouldn't have taken much to spit her chewing gum and spend a second to explain what she'd recommend as I haven't been to starbucks before. The rest of the staff that day I couldn't fault its just that Nadia performance has made me feel like I'm not welcomed back

Very good location! However, the staffs are very rude. Even if there’s no queue, they just keep on chatting and ignoring you to take your order. When the drink/food is ready, they just tossed it.

The bacon roll I had was so stale yes it was toasted but I couldn't eat it it was rock hard, I also don't understand how I ended up paying 30 for cheese toastie bacon roll and 2 frappuccinos

Delivery service was absolutely great however this Starbucks gets my order wrong every single time. With the amount it costs I expect my order to be correct.

Go in ,order a coffee... They ask your name ? ( Supposedly to write your name on the cup ) Move along and then the coffee comes and they plonk on the desk ..don't ask your name just say 'coffee'

The staff named Daniel has a really unwilling face to welcome customers and seemed to be lazy to take order :)

Evening food selection is limited. Waiting period around 10 min. The only place in England to get Eggnog latte. Premises could be cleaner.

Ideal location near Drummer Street, cosy atmosphere as not too large. I personally would prefer the lights to be a bit brighter. Efficient staff. Clean and tidy. Vegan options available. Average prices, quality products.

Nice cozy place - like any other starbucks. I have visited this place before it rennovated - and has definitely stepped up it's game in the casual café scene. It's in a good, low-key place where you can do work and enjoy some coffe. - Only downside is that it lacks in network service, I typically don't like using public wifi, so it sucks being unable to surf the web as easily.

My drink was knocked over in delivery as it was not secured properly so, I paid for a wet cardboard bag with no straw ….

Good, quick service with friendly staff. Very small amount of seating inside at the moment but was very quiet so was able to sit down and get some work done. Nice cakes though some other starbucks usually have a slightly wider range. Nice drinks but if you are looking for a good quality coffee blend then not the place.

Tasty drinks, friendly and quick service, cosy café. At the moment available only for takeaways and deliveries though. Hopefully when the restrictions will be gradually lifted the place can put back the tables and chairs so we can enjoy a tasty cuppa in this cosy place.

Need a solution to whipped cream spilling and disintegrating during delivery journey. Possibly provide it in a small pot for the customer to add themselves

The drink ended up spill everywhere, the lid wasn't properly closed.

Ordered a coffee. Same as I did the day before. The driver made no attempted to call me. If he even made it to my work place, he could have pressed the manager, as advised on the delivery details, but nothing. 45 minutes after my order was placed. Starbucks called me to say the driver brought it back because there was no address or contact number. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. Still have no received a full refund.

Staff are nice, expect one girl who barely speaks to you when she takes your order. However the baristas are slow and the coffee is average for the price. If you just need your caffeine fix this is good enough.

Friendly staff and fast service. This is not very big Starbucks and they have very limited seating inside, but on a nice day there's also seating outside. Good location nearby the bus stops.

Pedí un macchiato helado de caramelo con leche de soja. Me preguntaron si soy alérgico a los lácteos, que soy. Cogí mi bebida y no había caramelo encima. Luego le pregunté por qué y ella me informó que el caramelo tenía lácteos, ya que el caramelo es esencialmente azúcar, me sorprendió y no lo habría pedido de otra manera. Así que pagué de más por esencialmente un café frío. Cuando le pregunté por qué después de pedir la bebida, ella no me dijo que no era vegana y aún así me dejó pedirla y pagar una bebida que no podía tomar, simplemente me miró sin una respuesta real. Ella fue bastante grosera y no volvería.

Ordered a matcha latte, which was just right. However, on a different occasion, I ordered a matcha and got a mocha.

I was in this store yesterday 2.08.20 around 2 p.m. I was very surprise! I never go to franchise stores because I always had bad experience but this store has changed my mind. I work in Starbucks not franchise in London. Stuff was very polite especially guy on the door. He convinced me to order from his store and I am very glad I did it. Store is very clean, organised and my drinks were made the same way as I love them to drink. Thank you very much for such a good experience and coffee! :) The best franchise I ever been!

Disfruté de un frappuccino de caramelo alto con leche de avena. La cafetería estaba vacía pero seguía siguiendo las oportunas medidas de distanciamiento social durante estos tiempos. Dado que no había nadie al mismo tiempo, mi bebida se preparó rápidamente y estaba muy rica.

Lovely decor, very neat and clean, but the Hot Chocolate was nothing to write home about, especially at that price.

Place was untidy and flies around our food, service wasn't great and food bland, asked for extra hot coffee and it was anything but, not cheap either for the experience! Staff didn't seem to care about the customers

I've been to all the Starbucks in the city center and have always had a pleasant experience. But this location never seems to get it right. They've messed up my order a few times before, but I let it slide as new staff need time to adjust. Today I ordered a peppermint mocha and was firstly overcharged for it, but again I let it slide as the barista taking the orders seemed frazzled. Then after I had paid, the manager told me they were out of peppermint syrup and to choose a different drink!!! This was unacceptable, I was put on the spot and had to choose something that I did not want, for a price I would not have paid for! Honestly, the same employees have been working for months and still don't seem to know their job! I will not be coming back to this location again.

Tomó un café con panini y estaba rodeado de moscas. La comida estaba bien, pero las moscas que intentaban comer mi comida conmigo eran horribles. Deben tener un problema de limpieza si se están pudriendo aquí por todas las paredes.

It’s a Starbucks. Fine. But we were, oddly, annoyed by gnats. In February. Odd.

Great for a bit and a coffee or tea

Good portion, quick service, nice seats. Would have been perfect if they served with real folk and knife than plastic ones as it was uncomfortable to use and bad for environment.

Nice Starbucks and a lovely coffee. Toilets were nice and clean and staff friendly.

Recently refitted but strangely poorly laid out. New customers have to loop around the back to join the queue, which is far from obvious so generally they try to form a second queue with the people waiting for coffee collection. The staff spend their time directing people. I wonder if this happened because of a human error in planning or whether the planning system for Starbucks layout is now overautomated. It's an interesting case study in how layout failure damages process. That said the staff are generally lovely and keep things fairly efficient and clean
