Starbucks in Sandwell

I decided to check it out because I needed to replace Costa since their customer service went downhill. I took my daughter at 7 in the morning.I was a little tentative because of the reviews before mine, but I found the staff to be pleasant. Ordered my 2 drinks, didn't really wait too long, and then sat in and enjoyed. Maybe it gets worse as it gets busier in the day, but it was fine when I went.Both drinks (Cappuccino & Pumpkin Spiced Latte) were lovely. A bit pricier than Costa, but worth it as far as I'm concerned.

I came to the Starbucks Drive Thru in West Bromwich and had an awful experience. Firstly the lady was extremely rude when I asked her if they were taking card. We then had to go and draw some cash out and came back. When she was giving me my change she dropped the change down the drain and said “it was only 5p and I can’t give it you back anyway”. It was not 5p it was a few pound. SO RUDE!!! I will not be returning.

I popped in to get a frap.. I understand they have a drive through, but there were literally 9 staff members.. more than half standing having a chat.. while there were less than 3 customers inside and it still took 15 minutes to get a frappe chino! That was really frustrating as a customer... I understand if your short staffed, but come on.. serve ur customers.. we have better things to do than watch you natter!

The overweight manager of this branch is rude gave me cold coffee and would not let my disabled daughter sit and told her to were a mask when she is three years old

Staff was inconsiderate and extremely rude. They were sat in the customer seating during the pandemic and made us wait 20+ minutes for 2 drinks. I politely asked if i could sit and the girl said “you don’t work here c*nt” . I was not impressed

Working in customer service myself, I know how important it is to be nice, polite and helpful to customers. I think Jen has done an amazing job is helping with a question I had and she did it so nicely I understood because it being showed to me. Thanks Jen

Often pass by this Starbucks at least 3 - 4 times a week. Handy location if visiting WBA football ground, also close to motorway network.Staff always so pleasant and friendly, I only use the drive through so can not comment on the inside of the store.

This is a typical Starbucks, it is clean and staff are polite and helpfulThe problem I encountered when I have use this Starbucks is getting in and outI have restricted movement because of arthritis and the entrance door is very heavy and I struggled to open itThere is an automatic disabled friendly door but the power is always turned off for some reason and this makes the building inaccessible especially for those in wheelchairs

Having used this Starbucks so many times, (even twice in one day) we thought it was only fair that we write a review! Good staff and customer service, drinks are always made promptly and the shop is kept clean and tidy. Convenient location not too far from the motorway. Ample parking. Late opening times, which has been so useful for us! Spacious inside, or drive thru option too, have used both and received a similar level of service either way. Good for catchups, minor meetings or even studying! Food and drinks as expected in any other Starbucks.

I'm a regular user of this branch and some of the staff are excellent. They are friendly and bubbly. Some of the staff can be slow so it sometimes depends on who is on shift but the majority of the time they are outstanding.

I went in with 2 children to have a drinkThere were 4 staff that I could see. I stood at the service counter for 5 to 10 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. I had to ask if anyone was serving. This was just before 2pm and it was quiet. One staff said that the staff making drinks would come to serve. She handed 3 drinks at the bar called them out, despite no one responding she just left them there.After placing my order and collecting my drinks the 3 drinks was still sitting there 3/4 fullI said to the staff that I thought it was for 3 men who seem to be having some kind of discussion and that the drinks need topping upShe didn’t seem bothered at all. She left it sitting there for about 15mins until the customer cameI find this quite appalling as all it would take is 2 hands and 10 steps to carry it to the customers or a voice to call the drinks louder. The othe staff present were doing their own thing which wasn’t serving customersWith Starbucks being a recognised brand people will still visit but the staff that I encountered on that day are clueless, lack enthusiasm, lack customer service skills, don’t care about the brand and should look another job that don’t involve dealing with people. I am utterly disgusted that people can disrespect Starbucks or any other job the way that the staff did. If you don’t want to work and do you job properly, do us customers a favour and don’t apply for these jobs leave it for people who really want and care about their jobs.

Took ages to get served & coffee was not very strong at all plus had to ask for chocolate & was deffo not service with a smile! Won’t be rushing back.

Friendly staff and good location by the m5 junction 1 opposite the West Bromwich Albion football ground. Plenty of parking and it’s a drive thru.

Another gem, in West Bromwich just a moments walk from the Hawthorns football stadium. Great staff and very high standards. Lots of outdoor seating too which is a bonus. Recommended if you're in the area.
