Stupid tramps left a hair in my drink wouldn’t recommend unless you like hairy fuzzy drinks place has dust and dirt everywhere

Whoever in Norwich my wife and I have always stopped at Starbucks in the Haymarket Norwich, over many recent visits when using the toilet its disgustingly dirty (and has been for weeks) there is also a very dangerous trip hazard on the doorstep which is an accident waiting to happen. I am disabled and cannot get up the stairs to the toilets so I cannot comment on those, I am worried that because of my mobility walking difficulties I could become a victim of the trip hazard where the aluminium formed step on the door step.

All I need to say is £5.80 Yes £5.80 for a regular hot chocolate which was so rich and sweet it couldn't be drunk. How is £5.80 calculated I can buy a pint of milk and a whole tub of hot chocolate for less. Disgusting

usually never bother leaving reviews especially negative ones however staff were making fun of my order.. weird at least do it so i don’t hear, and took 15 minutes to make my drink anyway without it even being busy 🤧 oh and the order was wrong but i couldn’t be bothered to waist more time of my break

Sentado afuera en un hermoso día soleado, afortunadamente en la hermosa paz y tranquilidad sin ningún músico callejero o gente gritona cerca, este fue un lugar encantador y relajante bajo el sol y agradable poder sentarse en un lugar al aire libre. Las cosas de Covid son un poco tontas y sin sentido, pero bueno, no va a cambiar, así que solo siguió algunas reglas extrañas que hacen cumplir allí. La comida y las bebidas estaban bien. . . . y aún mejor, ¡a mitad de precio hoy!

Rara vez uso Starbucks debido a su falta de contribuciones a los impuestos del Reino Unido. Sin embargo, cuando visité recientemente, vi a un miembro del personal. . . posiblemente un gerente salga e intimide a un músico callejero perfectamente decente para que se aleje de uno de los principales lugares de la ciudad. Qué vergüenza, nunca más y correrá la voz. El café es caro y el lugar sucio también.

Mientras me preparaba para tocar en la calle fuera de la tienda, en un lugar popular utilizado por los músicos durante años, uno de los empleados consideró oportuno salir y, muy groseramente y enojado, me gritó que siguiera adelante y dejara de tocar. Inmediatamente después del encierro, como muchas personas están sufriendo por la música y muchos músicos esperan salir y comenzar a ganarse la vida nuevamente, esto me parece una forma terrible de tratar a la gente de la ciudad. Norwich es una ciudad de música y cultura, no un lugar donde las cadenas de café corporativas puedan intimidar a artistas y artistas.

I noticed where you add your milk and sugar was very neglected and we were upstairs and a boy cleared the table next to us but didnt wipe it

Wasn’t particularly busy when I arrived and I was quickly served. Only gripe is that my vegetarian panini came with a lump of meat on the plate! Coffee was lovely.

We won't be returning here again! The staff took forever to serve us. The café was not very clean. There are so many other cafés in Norwich, even just round the corner in the mall!

An ok little cafe,there are a few other cafes I'd rather go but that's just me, I tend to go for coffee with my disabled mum as she cant always get inside byself saying that she has managed it once not one member of staff came to help her or hold door open, another cafe we got to shes able to go by herself as they are helpful, and always Carries her tray, we will try Starbucks again hopefully we get a different member of staff

Staff were not very sympathetic/considerate when it came to making a coffee for a customer who was coeliac and lactose intolerant- poor understanding of minimising risk of cross contamination which led customer to become unwell. Although this chain provides alternative milks, overall awareness of cross contamination was poor e.g server used a cloth with milk on it to wipe the machine which was then used to froth the soya milk. After making the drink, the server decided the toppings already paid for contained gluten and did not offer any alternative= very expensive drink. Not impressed. will not be coming back.

Visited this branch when I was at the fireworks with my family and all the staff were brilliant. I had very fast and friendly service even though the place was packed and staff were worked off their feet but still smiling. I recently had a bad experience in the castle mall branch so i'm pleased to see that there are better Starbucks branches elsewhere in the city centre.

Nice location for a Starbucks. Food and drink is standard Starbucks fare, and reasonably good and priced. Plenty of seating, and right in the centre of Norwich.

Toilet is a treck up two flights of stairs. The Pumpkin Cappuccino is very sweet at the bottom if you don’t stir it properly. I still prefer the independent coffee shops.

Starbuck's has better decaff than Costa. They used to sell a really lovely fruit cheesecake, which I could not resist. Not sure if they still have it.

I have never found the service great in this Starbucks, it fluctuates between bad and O.K. But at least the coffee normally is enjoyable.

The overall feel of the place was not great The food cabinet looked tired and as if the cakes were yesterday The fudge got chocolate was luke warm and overly sweet Not a patch on the US locations

We stopped by this Starbucks whilst on a shopping trip on a very autumnal Friday afternoon. At around 16:30 it was quite busy, from other day shoppers clearly getting ahead of the game Christmas shopping to local students sat with laptops and their favourite coffee cracking on with work there was plenty of people around.

Always have a nice coffee here and the food is always very good for a decent price, this place always pleases me :)

Visited today for coffee and cake, asked for a specific drink due to allergies and given the wrong one, it was replaced with an apology, floors and stairs dirty and sticky, no napkins, and upstairs seating area also dirty floor and tables a disappointment we will not be returning.

Called in for coffee break! 2 tall latte's lovely Went upstairs to seating area,floor & tables filthy. Was not busy but tables not cleared. Toilets out of use upstairs

I wish I could say things have changed but once again visiting at half 9 on a Saturday morning and no Croissants. Sold out apparently.

I have (more fool me) been visiting this coffee shop most Saturdays for the past few years and other than update to the decor everything else has gone backwards.

Clean and tidy.relaxing upstairs seating area that as view onto street. Can see street performers outside whilst having your drink

Pretty good coffe shop. Starbucks muffins are simply the best. I do like their Frappacinos. They do take a while to prepare, but are well worth the wait. So many chains of coffee shops to choose from. But Starbucks are one of the best

Freaking Starbucks should have actual coffee. The rest of the UK seems to ve under the impression that watered down espresso is the same thing. Starbucks should know better and also continue brewing coffee all day. They had the machine off and acted as if an americano is the same thing. If you think an americano is the same as brewed coffee, you have no business turning your nose up at anything. Your palate is flat. Brewed coffee is much more complex, rich, and flavorful than watery espresso. I do like espresso, but I want coffee. Let's see if they have a French press.

Starbucks has so many different drinks and food to choose from, even though it is expensive , the drinks are totally worth their money. If you need a cafe stop then go to Starbucks.

If Starbucks really are not paying their full ethical tax dues, we are probably having to pay more tax to make up for it, but their coffee is fine.

I visited this branch on 26/06/2016. The store was clean despite there being lots of customers. There was a long wait for my drink. Only the young girl (who had served me at the cashier - I have forgotten her name) was cleaning tables and noticed I had been waiting for a long time. She quickly realised someone had taken my drink by mistake (despite my name being on the cup) and apologised then immediately requested a new one to be made. I was very pleased with my drink and service and I will revisit this branch in the future.

This place is filthy. Staff looked miserable and unenthusiastic. I ordered a Flat white with the Kenyan blend and Danish pastry. The coffee tasted burnt and lacked flavour and the pastry was dry. I went to the counter to complain but the staff didn't even notice me, so I left the drink and bun on the counter and left.

Stopped here to grab a quick coffee and something to eat. The store has been redecorated recently so the interior looks clean and tidy. I was served reasonably quickly. The coffee and cake were both reasonable as expected. There were enough staff behind counter despite being a quieter time of day. They did seem to be dashing about frantically though. In the end it's just another corporate coffee shop.

Their upstairs seating is beautiful, spacious, clean and convenient. Plug sockets now hang off the tables now ideal for students who are wanting to study while drinking coffee.

Had a nice coffee and breakfast meal and all the staff very help full today hope to come back soon with a friend

Staff pleasant enough but my espresso was luke warm and had to ask for another and for them to pre warm the cup with boiling water.

I had gingerbread latte and chocolate cake which was lovely

When to Starbucks in Norwich on St Stephen's Street. Never again, the service was very poor. I ordered two drinks and had two toasties which we wanted heated. The food was thrown at me - no tray. then I had to wait for the drinks. Then a tray which I had to ask for and was given dirty look by the member of staff. But maybe I was meant to balance the food on my head while walking up the stairs carrying the two drinks....

Coffee is very nice, but am always bemused by how slow they are considering the amount of staff behind the counter. Comparing this coffee shop to the one opposite a few yards down is a bit of an eye opener, could learn from the staff down there.

We came to this Starbucks soon after it opened and it was filthy already. It hasn't gone bust over the years so we decided they must have cleaned up their act and decided to risk it again. Never mind. There are plenty of other places to go and they don't need our custom.

The floors are disgusting and the staff unhelpful. The tables are stained and don't get cleared. Don't bother with coffee here!!!!!

We always end up here when shopping in Norwich as my partner loves his coffee & Starbucks.

Im a huge coffee fan esp Starbucks and always make this store first on my list when i come to town . Very friendly staff who seem to enjoy there jobs .

Staff attentive and friendly.Hot chocolate hit the spot. Atmosphere quiet and chilled. Good to relax from the maddening crowds .

Visited here last Monday to grab a macchiato and found it to be a quieter Starbucks than some of the others I've visited before. Still good coffee, previous reviews didn't really seem to be the case but maybe things have changed. Fully enjoyed like any other Starbucks :)

March 12th, 2.30pm asked for my coffee to have no foam. The rude barista said 'yeah' and did not even pass it on to the other girl making the drink. Got my coffee with a load of foam and just not enjoying it.

Called in for a toasted Panini and coffee with my wife...Given it was a Saturday lunchtime we knew it was going to be busy..There were 4 members of staff & the order for our drinks was taken separately by a member of staff whilst I paid the staff member who was taking the money and started heating the Panini's...The drinks were served first but it took 10 minutes before the food was ready despite me reminding them we were still waiting...No apology, but the blindingly obvious statement...'Well we are busy'.....Priceless!....I did point out that perhaps they should concentrate on serving the customers who have already paid but I think this was too logical for them to understand.

Wouldn't normally frequent a Starbucks as I don't drink coffee but was with someone who did and so I ventured in. We sat at a table in the window which had someone's used plates and rubbish still left uncleared and the floor around our feet was disgusting. It was very uncomfortable having to sit carefully not touching anything - not a relaxing experience at all. Having seen the pictures uploaded by another reviewer I am only pleased that we didn't venture upstairs or ask to use the facilities and from what we witnessed today, I'm not at all surprised by the pictures. It was quite late in the day, just approaching 5.00pm and the staff on duty were very efficient and friendly. I was directed to the milk for my tea but found the sugar canister and the napkins empty. Had I been able to attract the attention of a member of staff I would have expressed my amazement as to the state of the inside area that I was charged extra for to drink my tea 'in'. There wasn't an opportunity to do this or I would have done so but also the person who I was with didn't want to be made to feel embarrassed! I'm pleased that I can easily avoid returning to this Starbucks on Gentleman's Walk in Norwich and I shall dissuade anyone from doing so who suggests we meet there in future. Genuinely surprised that with all the available places in Norwich to stop for a coffee that a Starbucks would be one I'd never want to frequent again.

I have managed to upload photos for those of you who may be going there in the future . I wouldn't bother behind the counter on the floor looked no better than the toilet, there was rubbish and tissue on the floor. I did complain but was told there was no Manager there and given 6 tokens for free drinks. All drinks were served in paper cups and the upstairs tables were stacked up of used cups and rubbish. To the point there was no where to sit due to cluttered tables. I complained and was told they were short of staff. I pointed out there was 2 members of staff talking and giggling sitting in a side room and maybe they could clean up?!?! If health and safety could of seen it they would have a field day! I will never go there again!

Whenever I visit Starbucks the staff are always friendly and helpful. I don't like the new strength coffee and always opt for one shot for a small mug, recently I asked for a medium and asked the member of staff to help me with the strength of the coffee of which she advised to try 1.5 shots, the lady making the coffee raised an eyebrow but made it all the same and I have to say it was a perfect strength and very enjoyable.
