Starbucks in Stockport

How rude…. So rude… Unbelievably rude… My review of this Starbucks has nothing to do with the coffee which is their standard fair so… blah really. But at 7am, beggars can’t be choosers. It’s really the insane specialness of the staff and general unpleasantness that is so outstanding. That’s it really Oh and if you are really lucky you will be offered a Banana with ur coffee!

I asked for tap water then kaz slapped and then i proceeded to ask for a squirt off which i was throughly impressed with 😎😎 . however after this super squirts sensation she spat in a cup and said here your tap watee you tramp. But what she doesnt know is that i come from a working family and this best water ive had today 🤪🤪 absolutely thrillin experience . 4 stars is for the squirt of. Would of been 5 if the other didnt get incolved because she smelt abit but i really recommend this place 👍👍

A cold January evening and trains cancelled or delayed, the promise of a hot coffee and warm sit down made the thought more pleasant. Unfortunately the ataff had decided to close off the main sitting area , it had been mopped but was virtually dry , but no one allowed to sit there so everyone forced to crowd in an uncomfortable manner with the space outside suddenly more appealing than the warmth awkwardness of standing face to face with other stranded commuters. At least the waiting room floor stayed clean and didn’t need remopping, customers only make it messy- oh and keep the business going…!!?!?

Visited here on the way and back from a business trip and on both days the staff were super friendly, busy and working hard. Plenty of seating inside to keep warm and it was very clean.

Good place for coffee and something to grab before a train journey. Little busy during mornings but nice.

Great service- the staff are lovely and very efficient! Best place to get a quick breakfast and coffee on a morning.

Visited today while waiting for my connection train, the two ladies were very speedy with making the drinks and getting orders together I only managed to catch one of there name tags and her name was Faz. The young boy who was on the till named Oli was also fantastic he was very engaging towards the customers and even had people smiling and laughing on such a cold miserable morning. The establishment itself was lovely and clean too and very welcoming. P.s the blueberry muffin was also delicious.

Just had the blandest 'frapuccino' ever, no flavour whatsoever, coloured water, awful, returned to sender unfortunately.

This is a decent Starbucks. It can get very busy. When my order was taken, the man taking it was very friendly, pleasant polite and efficient. The lady serving my drink was pleasant and polite,My toffee nut latte was of reasonable quality. My wife enjoyed her latte. A reasonable price for a train station cafe.A good place. recommended.

I visit a huge number of cafes and restaurants. Three staff ignored me and another customer for a few minutes. Good service costs £0

Starbucks based in Stockport train station. Good to stop in when the platform is freezing cold! Service ok.

Bought coffee ,sat down but told they were closing and started cleaning up around me and getting stares. Asked time of closing to which I was rudely told now. Left with my coffee never to return to Starbucks.Shame.

I call in at least once a week; the staff remember you and your order. The coffee is right every time and they need on top of clearing the tables.

Starbucks at Stockport station did nothing to change my low opinion of this coffee chain. I can see that it was a revelation in the USA where the normal coffee is filter coffee but in countries that have a coffee/café culture they are way down there. The coffee today had burnt tasting milk and extremely bitter was one of the lowest quality coffees that I have had for a long time. All that said, the café itself is a pleasant place to sit at a very busy station.

Went to Starbucks and had a warm welcome by Kim and becki and Rachel and Andy Kim took my order and A girl called Rachel made my coffee for the first time and it was absolutely bang on

A typical Starbucks but on a railway station which shouldnt make any difference but it does. The coffee at this Starbucks is like all the rest fairly dismal and weak. The staff here are very efficient but the older guy serving us needs to attend a charm school. Not the friendliest even though he seemed a nice guy. Certainly emergency only this place and certainly not one to relax in

Great coffee served which is very welcome on these cold December mornings. Staff helpful with a welcoming smile. Will be back again

I had a beautiful coffee made which gave me a kickstart by the hands of the beautiful georgie she made my coffee first time and it was amazing shes an asset to the business. She was very welcoming and gave me a warm feeling she made my coffee with a smile which made me love it more Thanks georgie for the coffee

Always a great service friendly staff very well managed good choice of products and like the fact names are on drinks to identify people with correct drinks

Service with a snarl. The staff seem to be personality-disordered. Nothing else can explain their hardness towards customers. Also over-priced, but that is typical of Starbucks, and generally speaking, true of all British train stations that seem to think charging 200% more than high street prices is an acceptable business practice.

I had thirty minutes to kill while waiting for my connection, no pubs handy so I decided on a coffee, bit of a captive market so had to choose Starbucks.

Take note that this Starbucks is only a franchise so doesn't accept reward vouchers. It also doesn't appear to have wifi.

We found the staff were unprofessional, unenthusiastic & totally disorganised.

I am currently at stackbucks at Stockport Train Station and I must say it's a very pleasant experience. Very relaxing and nice environment.

Starbucks was clean and had quick service. Free taster muffins made the wait for my train just about bearable. Thank you

£4.60 for a ham & cheese sandwich. The kids won't be getting anything for Christmas, this year. The selection wasn't great, but tasted good (although about £3 less good than I paid).

Spent the day in Cheadle and got back to Stockport Railway Station. In need of a coffee. Found a Starbucks on platform 2 - result! Whilst pretty small, the staff were very friendly. Service was quick and the cafe was relatively tidy for a station outlet. Importantly it was warm compared with sitting outside waiting for the train......

Waiting for train to London, we felt hungry, tried the Vietnamese style chicken roll, hot chocolate, and Chilean merlot. Tasty and a winner, service is ok. Who would have thought they serve wine at Starbucks definitely not in Australia. Hoorah.

Very lovely black gentlemen served me, was very helpful. Happy customer, I will be sure to recommend for anyone at this train station. 👍

This is an embarrassment to the Starbucks chain. Cramped and very unhelpful miserable staff - could be so much better - really needs attention

Absolutely terrible. I know a few people who've used this location. Very unhelpful & unable to use any loyalty cards or prepaid drinks. Excuses include not being connected to provide drinks etc Avoid at all costs.

Place is a mess. Staff are rude and snappy Generally they stayed behind counter (4 of them) didn't clean tables. Worst Starbucks I've ever visited Also why does this Starbucks only employ staff who have terrible teeth and never wash their uniforms?

A big improvement on the previous Pumpkin Cafe that occupied this site. Usual Starbucks options with friendly and helpful staff. As railway station cafes go, this one is pretty good.
