Starbucks in Cherwell

Unfriendly staff, slow with cooking food. No clean plates and tables dirty. Toilet had soap dispenser hanging off wall and not cleaned

Great service, friendly staff and everything I would expect from Starbucks. The store was very busy as it was a rainy Sunday afternoon but the staff were very efficient at serving people and clearing tables so that people could find a seat. Great Chai latte and vanilla latte.

This is a great place to stop for coffee on A34 before joining M40. Easy access though it can’t be seen from very far back so is easy to speed past. Slow down about 3 miles from joining the M40 so you don’t miss it. It’s big with the new dark wood decor. Plenty of seating to have a relaxed break and the usual Starbucks selection. However when we visited on a Monday morning it felt a bit under staffed and didn’t give off that usual “customer is king” vibe

Dark and dreary decor. Appalling process for serving food and drink ( how can it take 4 people so long to serve coffee and tea). Expensive. Very average quality. Avoid it.

We arrived on a motorcycle so no option for take away, first impression was that it was really dirty with the floor covered in food. Most of the tables had not been cleared or cleaned even though there appeared to be 5 staff working and virtually zero customers at the time (2.30pm). There were no serviettes, the milk station was disgusting, men’s toilets absolutely stank of ammonia and the ladies toilet had no toilet paper and the hand dryer didn’t work. We were charged nearly £18 for two sandwiches, a coffee, a tea and a cake. Don’t mind paying if food and environment warrants it but this was shocking, they should be ashamed.

It’s never clean when I come in here and the staff are too busy to serve customers. Always disappointing.

What a find! This typical Starbucks was near empty - a real pleasant surprise compared to the nearby very busy noisy Motorway service station on the M40. All the typical fare is available with really pleasant staff in an air conditioned environment. This should be kept quiet so it remains so wonderful 😉. We shall return here!

Stopped here on our way home to Lincolnshire. A lovely modern building that has air conditioning and good views of the motorway. The interior was clean and the staff friendly. My egg mayo sandwiches were lovely and fresh and my partner enjoyed his ham and cheese melt. A good place to relax if you are on a long trip.
