We visited Banbury for the first time tonight, we were served by Natasha who was friendly, attentive & excellent throughout our meal. The food was amazing, as always, & we took advantage of the amazing offer. I am gluten free & Natasha went over & above to ensure we had the best experience & I would highly recommend.

Fabulous dinner and great value on the Date & Steak night. We were served by Daria again who is a lovely attentive waitress. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The food as always is absolutely delicious. The quality is always really good. However, we are finding that the service is a bit hit and miss lately. The last time we were there, we waited 15 mins for our order to be taken and eventually a server from another section took our order. She was absolutely lovely and the food arrived really quickly, even though it was busy. Tonight however we were disappointed. We arrived at 18.30 and waited for ages to be taken to our table as front of house was deserted. We ordered our food but the starter was not what we ordered. We waited again for our mains to arrive, around 40 mins. We asked our server to find out where it was, he went to the kitchen and then vanished. Eventually our dinner arrived but they didn't bring my chips and then when they did, they bought the wrong order. If it always took a long time for food to arrive, we would expect it but sometimes when we go it arrives really quickly and sometimes it doesn't. It wasn't very busy but it looked like they were short on servers, which may be the reason for the delays but we didn't receive any update on when our food would arrive, nor did we get any apology which would have helped. Its a shame because we love the food but the service is not so great.

Had the cheapest steak. Usually excellent but this time rather sinnewy in parts but I won't dock them much for this as everything else was pretty damn good.

On the way in, most tables were full of empty glasses. Service terribly slow. Starters were very good- camembert and calamari. Mains not so good- the Cod was so dry, like it had been sat waiting to go out for ages. The Ribs were anything but ultimate. Cold chewy fries and really bland ribs. Kids burger pretty dry too. The two steaks were good. The kids brownies were fine but again, service slow- the adults coffee and desert- the dessert was eaten by the time the coffee appeared. Annoyingly, the meeting at the other end of restaurant was happening while the service was poor and the food was poor.. maybe focus on getting the standards up. This is definitely the worst M&C weve visited- and we go to Ormskirk, Bury and Edinburgh more often. We wont visit again, it just wasnt good enough for the money. Nowhere near- let the brand down.

Really pleasant experience. My surf and turf was divine. All my family loved their meals too - the pan cooked cod looked great. I really enjoyed an espresso martini and the mini profiteroles for my dessert. Natasha was a lovely, attentive waitress and was very chatty and joined in with our banter.

Excellent food! Sadly there was too much fat for my liking on the ribeye but beside that it was superb. Natasha was an excellent waitress. She was super attentive especially to my daughters allergies and intolerances. Natasha went above and beyond too, treating my other daughter to a brownie for her birthday!

We went out for a Sunday roast tonight. The food was incredible. We had the pleasure of being served by the wonderful Natasha, she was absolutely outstanding. The service that we received was beyond fantastic. The level of attentiveness is exactly what you would want when going out for dinner. Props to Natasha, she was brilliant.

Natasha was amazing! Nothing was too much, even with the massive amount of food we ordered (3x Sunday sharing blocks). She’s a credit to the team and Miller and Carter should consider themselves lucky to have her.

Visited the area for a driving experience at Silverstone and were booked into the hotel next to this Miller & Carter. Me and my partner remembered we had some vouchers left over from Christmas that we thought would be perfect spending here. We were served by the lovely Eleanor, who was nothing but helpful during our visit, ensuring we had everything we needed when it came to drinks, condiments etc. Unfortunately, as we had paid with vouchers, we were unable to leave a tip for such amazing service, but we wanted to let Eleanor know that she had made our special occasion a perfect night, and would certainly choose to dine here again if staying in the area. M&C has always been high in my estimations and this particular visit did not disappoint!

Dined here this evening. My partners Rib Eye steak was very disappointing. She ordered medium, however was extremely rare with fat not rendered down. She ended up leaving a lot of her meal. We mentioned this to the waitress, but no resolution or anything as a goodwill gesture was suggested. My steak was very average, and quite tough. Service was also slow due to being busy, but friendly. A shame because we’ve dined here a couple of times, but tonight we were left pretty underwhelmed. Not a cheap experience either at £95 for a 1 course meal for two.
